I kept getting different providers with my tele visits and felt like I continuously had to answer the same questions every other time I'd have my virtual visits, specifically, my bloodwork. I wanted to give the Gameday Reynoldsburg a try. As soon as I walked in the door, I felt at home and liked I belonged on their team. Each and every person I interacted with made me feel comfortable and very welcome. Everyone had great synergy and showed much passion to be there - which is rare this day in age. The office staff were extremely pleasant to speak with and help answer any questions I had. I happened speak briefly with the Ryan the owner, and he said I could get my lab work done, hang out in the locker room/waiting room and wait for my results and get a plan and start treatment. My mind was instantly blown! I have not been to any other facility where I can get my results in less than 15 minutes then start treatment same day. I did bring my past blood results just in case so I could speak with the provider about. Mike, the NP, was extremely informative as to what's happening and the why and made me feel like I was the most important person he was seeing all day. He instilled in me confidence and a tailored plan that I have not experienced with any other provider I have been to. Also, I was playing basketball at church recently and reinjured an old injury from college. Mike walked me through the process of shockwave therapy and how it will help relieve pain in my shoulder. She is hands down the best dermatologist I have ever seen! She's attentive, very knowledgeable (explaining every mole/mark on your body), and takes her time answering any questions you might have (especially regarding concerning spots). I never feel rushed and always leave feeling reassured! For this visit, I was provided some dark spot cream to help treat some dark spots on my face. I was advised that if I didn't see results within a few weeks, that I would be prescribed a stronger topical cream. I called back after a few weeks, was prescribed a new cream, and have seen some good results! Other Notes: - I was provided with a gift bag of sunscreen, body soap/wash, etc. for being a new patient. These weren't travel size - they were full sized bottles! This was greatly appreciated! - The ambiance/decor in the main office is SO cute! I enjoyed the decor, lighting, and music while waiting to be seen! - The parking situation is absolutely horrible (this office is right next to Capital University)! The front desk was upset that I didn't arrive earlier because they needed me to complete a packet of paperwork. They handed me what appeared to be new patient paperwork. I've already been a patient for several years. They insisted that I needed to complete the new patient paperwork so I did. When it was finally time for me to see the doctor, he told me that he wouldn't be renewing my prescription because I wasn't suffering from cystic acne. Well, no duh. I've been taking this medication for the last couple of years and it has successfully been keeping my cystic acne at bay. I need to have the prescription renewed so that I wouldn't start suffering from cystic acne again. After much back-and-forth, the doctor insisted that I had rosacea and not cystic acne so I did not get my cystic acne prescription renewed. Wouldn't you know when my prescription ran out the cystic acne returned just as I told the doctor that it would. Needless to say, I found a new dermatologist and don't plan on going back to Central Ohio Skin Cancer.
