This is the worst doctor office I have ever seen. The place is filthy, the service is slow, and the staff are rude.The Vietnamese lady who works at the customer service was very rude. We have to spent 4 hours here just to have a normal INR test for my wife blood clots. . This place is filled with illegal immigrants and it seems like that's how this place make money, accepting cash to avoid paying tax. I was very disappointed in how the receptionist treated me! I have gone to this location about 3 times in the past two years! Every time I go it seems as the customer service gets worst and worst! Also the wait is extremely slow! I notice that the patients who walked in and said they were paying cash, were treated before the patients who are paying with insurance! I'm looking forward in getting my own doctor somewhere else! I wish the the experience I had upon nobody! I don't want to name names but They really need to work on the customer service! read more

I have been to this clinic as a patient 3 times. Each time I went Dr. Tony Nguyen was the provider. The staff is always very kind. Every time I go to this clinic I see the Doctor quickly and my bill is always very low. Whenever I go to other clinics I am forced to do tons of tests and labs which jack up the bill. At this clinic Dr. Nguyen examines me, asks questions, and solves my medical issue. Other clinics run up the bill and often don't solve your problem. I choose to drive 45 minutes (from East Dallas) to see Dr. Nguyen and you should too. read more

****If You Have More Than 68 Dollars In Your Account, PLEASE Go Elsewhere!****** This is the ABSOLUTE worst establishment for health in all of the Dallas Fort Worth Area. Do not waste your time and energy going to this clinic WAIT TIME IS RIDICULOUS! I came in at about 7pm and waited exactly 2 hours and 40 minutes to see a doctor... He gave me a 20 minute counseling session. O__O The facility is old, dingy and disgusting, probably dirty as well. The OFFICE STAFF IS RUDE & INCOMPETENT. There is only one person authorized to pull files and this said office manager is ALWAYS "busy". If you call in regards to your medical records or documents that should be in your file be prepared for the runaround and a 24-48 hour turnaround time for a call back. Medical record are difficult to get faxed to other entities and if documents are requested of the office by fax, they DO NOT put this information in the clients file, instead they insist that they don't have it or didnt get it unless you are able to tell them the exact date and time that it was faxed to them... The medical records need to be audited because proper office notation in it are questionable (which is a HIPPA violation) and cost (in most states medical records can be purchased for less than 15 dollars, this clinic charges 25 plus) It has taken me weeks to get this office to fax my insurance company all my medical records... I wish I wouldnt had an honest review and I wouldnt be in this situation where I have to call them everyday and go to the office every week for possible resolution, even though Im just getting the runaround. read more

Do not visit this clinic. My most recent visit here was two months ago. It was HORRIBLE. The nurse(?) who gave me a pre-exam (taking blood pressure, height, weight, symptoms etc) was very rude and unprofessional. She calls me to a corner in the waiting room. (They dont have a room for pre-exams, its literally on one side of the waiting room which means EVERYONE in the waiting room can hear you. None of the staff even whisper here, they talk like normal.) She took my height (5'5") and goes "..you're short." Ok? As she's taking my weight, she asks "How much do you think you weight?" ....I don't know how to reply to this, isn't she suppose to tell me? I tell her maybe 210lbs. Instead of telling me how much I weighed or not at all, she asks me "Why do you think that?" I tell her I don't know I'm just guessing. She tells me my actual weight (190) and then goes "Why do you weigh that?" I don't understand why she's asking me this so I just tell her "I don't know? I let myself go since I finished high school I guess?" She goes "Oh... why?" Trying to be nice, but weirded out, I reply with "I stopped caring about what I looked like and ate again?" ...instead of leaving it at that and moving on to ask me about my symptoms, she still decided to ask "why?" to THAT. Instead of replying I just stayed quiet. She finishes writing my weight and height and, as she's giving me my ID back, she goes "You look different from your ID." I ask her, "Why, because of the weight gain?" She goes "Yeah.." I stay quiet and it takes her like a whole minute to move on and ask me anything else. She asks, again all loud, "when was your last period?" I tell her less than a week. She goes "and you're not pregnant?" I tell her "no?" She goes "are you sexually active??" with the most puzzled look on her face, almost with disgust. I tell her yes. She asks "do you have any kids?" I tell her no. Then, as if with relief, she goes "ahh okay" and finally asks about my symptoms. THAT was extremely uncomfortable. Her questions made me feel very bad. I should've walked out there and then. I waited for about another hour before being seen. (2 hours total before doctor.) All over the clinic, you see glossy, laminated ads for online "vitamins" and online "mineral supplements." Should be a RED FLAG to anyone who sees things like that in a clinic. The "doctor" seeing me was Tony Nyugen. He asks what's wrong with me. I tell him I have vomiting, fevers, chills, coughing, sore throat, I feel cold even though people around me sweat, body aches etc. He walks over to me and, using his HANDS, he takes my temperature from my forehead, cheeks, and neck. He says it's not really a REAL fever, it's probably just from me wearing a sweater and that it's warm in the clinic. 5/5 Then he goes on this extremely long talk about how our immune system needs vitamins and we don't get enough from eating vegetables and "the only way to prevent sickness is by taking vitamins every day." And then he starts. He starts naming the "only" vitamins that work are the bullshit ones you get online -- the ones the whole clinic was plastered with flyers about.. When he named them, I started tearing up because I knew I wasn't going to get any help here and that I had just spent 2 hours, 30 minutes, and $70 for some guy to talk to me about snake oil. I was starting to cry and he took no pity, he kept going on about snake oil for 15 more minutes. He didn't prescribe me with anything but over-the-counter Robitussin. My visit really, really sucked and left me feeling even worse than when I had went in. Please, if you made it this far in my review, I implore you: stay away from Arlington Minor Emergency Clinic. Don't even visit this place as a joke. If you must visit here, PLEASE MAKE SURE VIVIAN OU IS THE DAY'S PRACTITIONER. Just walk in and ask what doctor is in. If it's Tony, please run. If you see the vitamin flyers and posters up, don't go to the back. If you visit this clinic and you haven't paid yet, walk straight out. If you're reading this while waiting to see a doctor, walk out. Please. Don't stay. Walk out, please. Other things worth noting: the place is filthy, no one cleans, the window blinds have more allergens than a dusty dog's house, the floors are filthy, there's roaches in this place, they sell medicine here but don't take it there's roaches here, one of the rooms to see the doctor is the xray room with a big radiation warning, cash payers are prioritized, a couple of the waiting room chairs are stained -- one with pee the other with vomit, all the candy in the machines are old (I saw kids complain, also there's roaches), there's roach droppings and mice feces every where. I didn't see any mice but the staff there eats on the job so I wouldn't be surprised. read more

I went in for my child's physical on Friday 8/20 and was in the waiting area for about 2 hours before receiving any care. The blonde receptionist there was a bit uncaring and seemed like she was waiting to go home. Then a young lady brought us in and took my kid's vitals and eye exam and asked the necessary questions. Then she stayed to answer all the questions I had regarding the paperwork and was very supportive and caring throughout. Then we waited for a while before anyone else came to see us. There was another young lady with blonde-brown hair there who was continually yelling that she cannot wait to go home and that their management is awful- all while the other girl was taking my kid's vitals in the same area of the clinic. It seems quite unprofessional for someone to be saying such things and being rude to patients right in their faces , and based on their other online reviews, it is clearly a recurring theme for this clinic. If you have any other options, take that instead. The doctors and one medical staff member were nice, but the wait time and other staff made me not want to visit ever again. The office is quite disorganized and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, nor a sink. Very unhygienic for a medical clinic. Again, you are in charge of deciding whether or not to visit this clinic, but please read all the reviews before making your decision. read more

Do your math, If you want to spend 4 to 6 hours of your time, get a bill of 1600 dollars and get 0 medications, not even a single aspirin or pain pill, then go to any hospital emergency room. If you want to spend 4 hours, get a 2400 dollar bill, and get a prescription slip go to the new Emergency Room on Cooper and Mayfield, they may even call 9 11 and send you to a real hospital!!. If you want to pay 30 with insurance, 120 without, spend 4 hours and come out with 2 prescription slips to get your medications to get over that sore throat, flu or whatever you have, go this clinic, order some test and tell them to send the result to your primary care provider. read more

Service was fast paced for an Saturday morning. It's cold and flu season but the exam room I was in didn't have one piece of tissue!

This is the second time I have been to this clinic because it is one of the only places that takes my insurance. I have wasted hours of my life here because it is so painfully slow- even when I took an appointment. The place is so disgusting and unsanitary, I was sick two days after going there the first time, and yes I know it was from there because I work from home and am rarely in contact with others/in public. The worst thing about this place, however, is that I have now dealt with one doctor and a male nurse who spewed absolute nonsense about the medication I am taking. I was diagnosed with ADHD years ago and take a baby prescription (5 mg) of Adderall to help me focus my thoughts when I work. I don't even take it daily. The doctor wasted at least 30 minutes of my time trying to tell me that Adderall had driven his sister to schizophrenia and I should NOT take it, and also tried to convince me to get off my SSRI which I take for anxiety because "it's all in my head." The nurse I had the previous time went on and on about how Adderall could lead my future children to have autism and down syndrome. There is absolutely NO evidence for this. I understand that they may frequently see patients with substance abuse problems, but making unfounded claims about medication is terrible medical and scientific practice. I think it is abhorrent that a doctor would attempt to convince a patient to stop taking his or her medication when he knows nothing about that patient. This is actually extremely dangerous because for all he knows, I could be suicidal and under his advice, I could discontinue my medication and cause harm to myself. Please do not go here. My work required me to do a medical exam that needed several things and I saw sign that said the clinic helps with work medical needs. Sadly I am very disappointed on how they have handled my paper work and managed my time. The staff is very nice and cool but really unprofessional. I have been coming to the clinic for the SAME thing about 10 times and it's been over a month almost 2 and constantly told to come another day. I honestly only seen the doctor 3 times in all of those visits. I am still currently waiting for them to finish and fax my papers. Almost each visit is 2 hours or longer wait. Just for my paper work to be filled out or to get told of my test results or to get blood drawn. First 3 visits I thought I was done and they said they would call me when my paper work has been faxed. They NEVER called me. Week later I call to see if they faxed it and they tell me they don't have my paper work and to get another copy from work. Week later I get papers in mail and visit the clinic to be told they had the papers. Then they tell me they can't find my sleeping center papers which I personally handed to the front desk for them to fax. They couldnt get a hold of the sleeping center for some reasons and I had to go get a copy. I've had to come several times to do things they could have done in other visits. Sadly I have spent too much money and time to start again with another doctor to finish the work. Once this is done I will not be coming back. Example of staffs unprofessional behavior: one of the nurses was sorry for my wait but that the male nurse didn't quite want to get my blood drawn and she had to bother him more than once for him to see me and if she wasn't so afraid to take my blood she would personally do it. Another nurse keeps commenting on how I was frustrated one visit where I was told they weren't finish and needed me to come again some other time. EVERY time I visit She reminds me how I was frustrated that day. Yes I probly shouldn't have sounded grouchy but if your work was breathing down your neck and warning you to complete it or I won't have the opportunity to continue I'm sure I held myself better than others would. read more

I went today to get service, the service was fast, maybe because I arrived at 2pm on sunday, I didn't have time to look at the lobby, but they have tons of magazines, (with the flu season Im not touching them) The service was great and fast, The please was not clean very much, but the service was great and cheap, so I will be going there again if I need it. To get prescription antibiotics for a bad cough, flu, and posible lung infectionwith a doctor note it was worth it. The price ranges from 65 to 95 for service. read more

Did not even get in. waited over an hour with an appointment. Their copay was outrageous for what my insurance offers and they did not tell me until after an hour wait. During that time not one person was taken back and there had been several people there before me. The office also SMELLED. I have never been to a medical facility that smelled so horrible. read more

Worst place ever. I went in specifically for a physical for my surgeon to have paperwork from visit. I don't have insurance , and haven't seen a Dr in about 8 yrs. I explained why I was here, specifically for check up, no blood wrk because surgeon will be drawing labs. So I said just basic physical to say I was in shape for surgery. I explained I already had CT scan and stress test done at surgeon office. So it took about 2-3 hrs of sitting and 3 different people coming in asking me the same info ,why u was here. Then the man checked my bp with auto cuff. It showed way out of range..147/99. I said there is know way my bp is that. I monitor myself..staff said it isn't that bad of a reading..really. Smh. So Dr finally sees me and listens to lungs, carotid, asks background yadda yadda. That's it. I pd my 65 dollars. So I come back 2 weeks later because surgeon was requesting the visit note from physical and the staff at front office says that will be 25$. ( so that is why they didnt fax surgeon paper work)I told them hell no, I specifically told them what I needed at my visit. They then said well every Dr office charges that to get your info. I told them no they don't , because I'm a nurse and we request other pts info all the time and don't have the pts being charged 25 dollars each time. Then the receptionist tried to cont to sell me on that all Dr offices do this. So as I was calling her a lie, the Dr must have heard me in the back, and he had them pull my info so I could get a copy of the physical note.....smh ..worst place ever..I guess they would nickel and dime you if you don't know better...so waiting over 1 hr..for them to translate my physical papers..what a mess. If I could rate this clinic below 1 star I would. I went to this clinic in order to save a few bucks instead of going to my primary physician, but you get what you pay for. I called ahead of time to insure that the clinic could fill out some paperwork for my job in regards to a health condition, the receptionist let me know that they could definitely assist me. I waited 1 hour in order to get called back, which I was aware and ok with. Once I was in the back another hour passed and I didn't hear from anyone. Many people that came in after I did were seen and had left by then. I decided to go to the front to inquire about where I was on the "list" the nurse looked confused then told me that I would be next. Another 30 mins pass and I was immediately declined for my paperwork, even after I informed the nurse that I called ahead. She spoke with the "admin" and I was denied. I left angrily after speaking personally to the "admin" and wasting 3 hours of my time. Avoid this place at all costs. read more
