I took two older watches into this shop to see about cleaning and repairs. I was promptly greeted and I explained what I hoped could be done with the watches. The person who greeted me told me that it could be 9 months to up to 1 YEAR before the watch specialist could look at them. I asked about one in specific (a 1930s Omega watch) and how much that would be, and unsurprisingly that was estimated at between $150-250 for cleaning and any repairs. I was not surprised by the pricing, but very surprised by the wait.

He immediately jumped in to disassembling the car and explained everything I would need with a breakdown of price and a comparison of quality. He spent a very long time assisting me and even opened a fresh motor off the shelf just to test my car. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. In the end I left with a new car after adding everything up and realizing it was a better choice. I only interacted with the hobby side of the store, but the bike desk service seemed great from the probably 30-35 minutes I was in the store. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We had the pleasure of stopping here on a whim (pun intended). At first, the signpost and name led me to think of a fantasy world Tavern or an Inn for weary travellers. Luckily, it was so much better. It was a fantasy realm unto itself. The owner and proprietor of this amazing establishment was working at the time. He was so kind and helpful, even allowing us to handle some of the more valuable, rare items in his collection. Not only was he courteous and professional, but a true fan of all things nerd. Even answering questions I had about things I've enjoyed for years and never learned myself. To say this man is a Jack-of-all-trades is an understatement. He is an artist, in several senses of the word. Sculpting, Drawing, Crafting, even painting, I wish I had an ounce of the talent this guy has, and to be so humble and kind. Inconceivable! Needless to say it was truly a once in a lifetime experience and I can't wait to return. Sidenote, sadly I did not get to try the cafe he suggested as we had to hurry back for an appointment.
