Went in to the shop looking for a impact drill. When I went to leave the f250 I drove in with wouldn't start. I was really stressing on it since it was a new truck (new to me) and I know when diesels won't start it usually means big $$$$. I asked if they had a jump box and they offered to help. The employees were all very nice about it all. One of them named Jim went above and beyond. He knew more then I did about diesels and was super helpful. Southern Oregon Pawn or rather the auto dealer behind the store SCAMMED my 87 year old mother. They sold us a lemon that we had to bring back multiple times to get things fixed that they promised to have repaired. But the worst thing of all, she traded in an old car which the people there promised to SCRAP and today (3/5/2019) she finds out that not only did they NOT scrap the car, but didn't transfer the title and now the car has tickets on it which my 87 year old mother is responsible for. These people are EVIL and take advantage of the elderly!!!!!!! read more

Southern Oregon pawn is the place to go to buy stolen guns, well sometimes if you are the legal owner they won't. They had one of my guns that's been in family for many many years, I identified it and told the guy behind the counter. He took the gun to the back to talk to the owner he came back and stated that the owner Said that that gun was from his private vault & he owned it for years, I told the employee that his owner was a LIAR &I would like to talk to him. This gun has distinct markings that makes it one of a kind, they denied me to talk to the owner of southern Oregon pawn. I asked about another one of my guns they stated they didn't have it. I went home & on line at gun broker.com there was my other gun being auctioned off the owner (southern Oregon pawn) the serial number matched mine. I bid on the pistol for 6 days & won. After auction seller & buyers names were exchanged When I contacted southern Oregon pawn after winning the auction seller emailed me saying he sold the gun. Today my husband and I went out shopping for a new wedding ring for me. I wanted something vintage and had photos of a design that I really liked. We went to all of the pawn shops in the valley (my first time visiting the pawn shops actually) and our last stop was Southern Oregon Pawn. First of all, I have to say that their jewelry cases are the very best of all of the shops. For one thing THEY SHOW YOU THE PRICES!! Which is extremely helpful so that the customer doesn't have to ask about every. single. item. It makes it so much easier to narrow things down a bit. The cases were also very light and bright and made all of the rings look great. They also had the LARGEST selection of reasonably priced rings - both vintage and new. The vintage rings were beautiful. I worked with Nancy, and I showed her a photo of the ring I liked, and she took me right over to a similar ring. I LOVED IT! It was quite a bit out of my price range, but they worked with me on that and even offered to have it sized for free. In the meantime, my husband was in the "man cave" looking at tools and found a brand new set of Kobalt power tools for $120. All of the sales staff was super friendly and helpful and worked with us easily on prices. We will definitely be shopping here again. Thanks guys! read more

Particularly Shannel, she greets me every time I come in and is very friendly and humorous. Not only do they have great staff, they have an awesome selection. Recently they ran a craigslist ad for several chain saws. First off the marked prices on the tags were better than average for a typical pawn shop, and they were selling most tools for 25% off marked prices, which made for an excellent deal on a good condition, professional chain saw at about 30% of what a new, equivalent model would retail for.....I didn't look at all there stuff, or prices to see how they marked all items, but this was an excellent deal, and the staff was friendly and helpful. read more

Extremely clean, organized, competent, and above all FAIR! Went in with several items to sell, they easily identified the best of the lot and were honest about that even though I hadn't told them I knew what they were worth and I didn't have to haggle (although it might have been fun) because they actually nailed my estimate almost to the dollar.
