Wow! Their new store has about 10x the floorspace of their former location, and is not only laid-out well, but well-stocked with supplies, parts, etc as well as the usual main items. My wife found something she had to have last week visiting the new digs, and I did as well, and again, we received exemplary service. So just how do YOU look at value? Is it just the bottom line, or the overall service, availability in-stock, convenience, and the business relationship important factors? While we all can get fixated on bottom line prices and who has the lowest, there is also the factors of time, shipping costs, travel costs, etc that factors-in to your cost of purchasing items...and IMO, Fox excels in this matter. One may say "well you know I can get this item for $XXX somewhere else"- but did you have to drive to Medford? Gas costs money. Time is money. Shipping costs money. When you factor-in those things, you may (often) find that you didn't get so great of a deal elsewhere after all. Fox Firearms offers REAL VALUE when you purchase from them. Not only are the prices reasonable, but the service & staff, knowledge,/experience, and the local availability are all part of the bundle, and if they don't have it, they oftentimes CAN get it. I've only used them for one third-party transfer in the past because it was a hard to get, limited availability item; otherwise- I won't insult them with buying from someone else and having FOX do the transfer...(edit 11/10/25- my only caveat is that I'm talking about what they HAVE IN STOCK. I just ordered something that FOX didn't have in stock, and this will be the second third-party transfer I'm doing with them.) Unlike Solid S(issy), who might work for someone else or is so indulged that any correction by any responsible party sounds "like really loud", my multiple store visits have been positive. I have picked up a few firearms on FFL services and talked to them about a few others. I also purchased several accessories from them. I have worked with each person who works there with all positive outcomes. So, I highly recommend the shop for anyone who is not a temperamental, overgrown, man-baby. LOL read more

My husband had to return a gun he purchased (it never left the shelf because he was waiting to get cleared) due to his hours getting drastically cut at work during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was charged a $100 restocking fee for something that NEVER LEFT THE STORE. This store is making so much money right now capitalizing on the current state of emergency. I can't believe they 1. Didn't mention the "restocking" fee upfront 2. Aren't more understanding during these desperate times when people are losing jobs left and right. Visited this shop recently, no customers in the store. I stood there 3 ft from what I presume is the owner and his family for 10 minutes and at no point did they acknowledge my presence nor attempt in any way to help. Too bad for them as I was ready to buy a couple of guns. In my book that's horrible sales and customer service, and hence the 1 star review. read more

First time I stepped into this place, I knew I had another great place for new and used firearms. Friendly atmosphere unlike the stores in Kalifornia I was forced to deal with. At Fox, you can ask to see a firearm without getting a dirty look like you're a total moron. There's a nice selection of pistols, rifles and ammunition. If they don't have it, they'll try to get it for you. These guys will share their knowledge and do their best to make sure you're happy before you walk out the door. My only gripe, is the transfer fee. Charging Kalifornia prices is the sort of thing that makes me cringe, but I heard that may have changed a few months ago. If you have the time, stop in and take a look. It doesn't hurt to find another option for your firearm needs. Hope this helps. Cheers read more

I will never spend a dime in that gunshop. I went in there fully ready to spend a couple thousand bucks on a rifle and as I'm browsing through the rifles which are on gun racks on the wall not locked to the case at all in the open showroom we shall say i pick up a few that interest me and what's the first thing you do when you pick up a strange firearm no matter what? You check to see if it's loaded! So I check 2 or so and work the actions make sure things are smooth and working and not loaded and I pick up a Russian AK a beautiful piece and do the same thing and then I pop the dust cover to inspect the bolt and all that and the wife I guess one of the owners of the shop starts yelling at my like really loud and completely throws me off guard berating me saying how dare you handle those items like that this isn't a toy store or some other bull shit like that cuz I stopped listening after that and all I heard was blah blah blah as she's treating me like a 5 year old with sticky sugar fingers in a wedding gown store. It was absolutely ridiculous and completely uncalled for and I've never been treated like that in any store ever in my entire life. I was shocked. So yeah after that I said well I'm definitely not buying a rifle from them or anything for that matter ever! And I make sure to tell all my friends and family not to go there and anyone else that ever asks about it unless of course they want to be yelled at and reprimanded for being safety oriented and belittled for wanting to inspect the goods is planned on purchasing. Still 5 stars, but I will go a little further into detail......every time I go there, they have an ever larger inventory.....it's a small store, but there selection is excellent! An impressive selection of new, used, handguns, rifles, shotguns. Several times I've walked in with no intention of buying, just looking and they have an absolutely great deal or two in the gun case or rack, and well I just couldn't pass up such a deal. They have consistently good prices on many items. They mostly carry mid range stuff, Glock, Sig Sauer, S&W, Beretta, DPMS, and similar. They always have a really good choice of AR-15's, most of these are in the $800-$1200 range, and a good range of Kimber and other 1911's. Customer service is excellent, and prices are consistently very competitive. Until you walk in, it's size is misleading, you expect a few guns, they have a lot! read more

A great business. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Will help you with your questions and with your firearms. I purchased a revolver through a different business and they didn't even go over the gun with me. I went into Fox and ask them if they could help me with my fire arm. They did show me how to load it take care of it with no pressure buying a thing from them. I was very impressed with this. I will be buying all my gun supplies and other guns through them. read more
