Recently he's been threatening me because I didn't want his service anymore and he was afraid of reviews. I think that I will have to notify the police of the situation In case of any negative situations. I have cameras everywhere, but just in case. He's NOT an honest man. His service used to be good, but not anymore. We established in the beginning what needed to be done and the price...but those basics are not getting done anymore. After almost 2 years EVERYTHING IS severely lacking. He only mows the lawn and we have to beg and plead to trim bushes etc......for what we're paying it's just not worth it. He likes to remind me that he only charged me for part in a sprinkler system. I would have gladly paid him labor but he said it was a ' favor' . If I thought it wasn't going to be done properly, I would have preferred to pay. When my family came to visit, the yard was NOTICEABLY poorly cared for. I WAS EMBARRASSED!!! Why? because they failed to mow or tend to the trees and scrubs . At the time I was in poor health yet and still I've had to trim trees and scrubs and still have to pick up what is CLEARLY BLOWN trash!!! HE was angry because I didn't want his service anymore more and he kept threatening me if I left a bad yelp review, so he wrote: ( mind you this is the man that LIES about everything) ~"you. Be careful-l am a child of God and His servant. Be careful, because my Father might punish you for what you're doing!" AND: ~"You better pay or I'll call collections "His workers scraped up and threw away the landscaping rocks because they didn't feel like sorting out the seeds that fell into them. I asked WELL IN ADVANCE, suggesting that they either replace them or I could take it out of the bill..... weeks in advance. Mind you, he's paid under the table ... I have proof. He was concerned about ICE and I told him not to worry that he could stay here awhile etc.. ~"if you post on my page ( YELP)I will take you to court for employee abuse and for making threats-because you *are* threatening me by saying that if I don't do what you want, you'll leave comments." ~Yesterday, I spent money on gas and paid a helper to fetch stone, and I gave it to you as a bonus just to make you happy. But even that wasn't enough. Reminder, HIS EMPLOYEES THREW THE OTHERS, but he was given the option, if I buy them I'll have to pay shipping, if you choose to bring them ..... you won't. ~"you. Now they come late and stay 45 minutes at most I have been I poor health lately yet and still | have to trim and pick up what is CLEARLY BLOWN trash!!! See pictures I'd rather pay and get it done correctly than half done for FREE! I've caught him in so many lies. He won't answer texts or phone calls. Great work all around…read more Their is one bad review for response time for a quote (from Irvine) and one unsatisfied customer in LB. No one is perfect and I am sure that holds true for Alan. But consistently, Alan gets great review. MY experience was awesome. I reached out to Alan about 1 1/2 years ago. Told him I would like a quote. He came out..talked me through everything, surveyed the yard and came back with a quote quickly. I then ran into a financial situation and couldn't do the job. Alan waited 3-4 months and called me to check on me. No pressure...just seeing how I was doing. Eventually, my finances cleared and I was ready. Alan gave me a computer design and it looked awesome. We agreed on a start date and away wen went. Alan and his guys started the job on time. Alan always kept me in the loop and I never felt like he was ignoring me. The same guys showed up every day (consistency) and Alan was very involved. Alan fixed a BUNCH of stuff in my front yard that was not even in my contract. And DIDN'T charge me for it. He replaced a few plants that didn't make it when planted...for free. He revamped my irrigation system at a reduced price. Yes...I spent over $30K on the job...but he didn't nickel and dime me and really treated me well. But here is the most important thing..Alan listens. He is NICE. He is patient. He is responsive. He is calm. My dog escaped one day and Alan IMMEDIATELY called me and we found our dog. He didn't have to do that. I am currently going through a hard time with another contractor and I called Alan up and asked him for advice. He ALWAYS answers...or calls back....or texts. Unfortunately half the grass died because we discovered that he replaced our sprinkler heads with old hardware that had worn out springs. He also didn't switch heads that needed longer spray to ensure adequate irrigation. When I alerted Alex that our sod was not doing well he kept saying he would come fix things for 2 months and never did. His team them stopped showing up to do the gardening.

Kevin and his team got the job done in just over a week, helping us hit a preferred deadline before we had some visitors. He and his team hit this despite a number of unforeseen obstacles thrown our way during the process. He was constantly adjusting to move things around the schedule - which wasn't helped by the occasional rain storm that would throw things off several times during the job. In the end, we have an amazing new backyard area with a big concrete pad for riding scooters and bikes or playing basketball, a large, flat turf area to run around, and a beautiful rock-filled section around a small garden with a fruit tree that makes that area such a great place to be now. In the few weeks since it's been completed, it went from an area where hardly anyone went - to one of the main play and hangout spaces of our house. From the very first meeting with Kevin, he answered all of our questions, he addressed our concerns, and he laid out clear options for everything we wanted. He also clearly provided an estimate of both time and cost, which he stuck to. Once the work started, Kevin and his teams did exceptional work, respected our space and time and worked very hard to meet our expectations. They all went above and beyond when we asked for little things as well. Kevin stopped by every day to check in and communicated clearly. We couldn't be happier with the final result, our backyard is our oasis and it is even more so now, as the pavers are gorgeous, the pool plaster is stunning and the new tiles are gleaming. Additionally, we are thrilled to have an operational and beautiful new spa, including an automated system that controls everything. Beyond the quality of the work, which is exceptional and beautiful, the reasons I refer Kevin the most are his communication, his transparency, his honesty and the fact that he never came back and nickel-and-dimed us as the job progressed and never tried to upsell us. Juan came over, took a look at the issue and was able to solve the problem. He fixed and secured my neighbors fence before building the masterpiece that is now my fence. What I can appreciate from this company is that quality and customer is their number 1 priority. Juan listened to our ideas and needs. I'm just a little bummed out that I'm running out of fence to fix because working with this company has made the process easy and rewarding.
