Over the years Benitez has done multiple fencing and gate projects for me. Oscar and his crew are very detailed/exact. I admire most how well Oscar can creatively solve/compensate for imperfections in existing structures and landscape that he may have to work with (like an existing leaning walls and slopes). My latest project required a lot of that kind of detail/compensating to add iron fencing on top of a wood wall that was no longer straight or fully upright. His work was beautiful and even ended up making my existing slightly leaning wall below his fencing look straighter too. Oscar and crew recently completed the installation of a gate, and we are very pleased. We had designed a gate that incorporated a decorative screen, iron and composite wood. Oscar made some great suggestions for the gate, and then successfully facilitated its fabrication and installation, and the result was very pleasing to us. Like any project, there were a few bumps in the road, but they were small bumps and Oscar's flexibility and problem-solving approach ensured that they were easily handled (example, the lock we had purchased didn't fit with the lock box on the gate...we easily switched out locks, but it required Oscar's team to wait a few days for receipt of the new lock, but it wasn't a problem). Bottom line, we ended up with the realization of a beautiful gate that had only been a design on paper before Benitez Wrought Iron got involved and pleased us! read more

Price was very reasonable for being lisenced and bonded. Oscar came in and had the exact style we were looking for. He custom fabricated a retaining fence for our pool pump heater which was very precareiuoulsy located above the pump. The front door grab handle was a great addition to our front door that realy made our house look better. The handles for our steps leading to the pool worked very well, and looked great. The sliding door grab handles were fantastic for older people. Why the orginal owner (1996) was alowed to sell us the house without these guard rails is beyond me. Whether ist's 1 step, 2 steps, or more, they need hand rails! Do it now before somebody gets hurt. Ask me how I know. read more

We had a custom curved iron staircase in our house, but it was very ornate and not our style. Oscar came to look at the staircase and we discussed using the framing part of the staircase or a brand new one. After considering the cost differences, we opted to go with the same frame. We were considering different options and Oscar created a very professional mockup that impressed me so much! (And sent it quickly) Oscar was timely getting out multiple quotes depending on our decision and was upfront on the timing and when we could expect to have the work completed. We have kids and wanted to ensure they would not be home while the work was done (staircase would be removed) and Oscar was very flexible with our schedule. His team did a great job, we are very happy with the result. His team was quick, professional and cleaned up so well that you would never know they were there afterwards (we haven't had that experience with other companies). During the reinstall Oscar was there. He was very engaged and hands on, here to check the work. We even forgot to grab some extra paint and he dropped it off to us weeks later. One of the smartest things I've done as a homeowner was to have Benitez Wrought Iron fencing installed around my home. When we decided to swap out our old wooden gates for wrought iron, we contacted three contractors. One did not return our call, and one did not show up for his appointment. Only Oscar of Benitez Wrought Iron did both. He called me back within 2 hours and showed up promptly at the house for our appointment. Oscar was highly professional throughout and treated us like his best customer even though ours was just a small job. After placing the order, he kept in touch with us, and then notified us that our products were ready several days before he said they'd be done. Installation was great, as the installers (Oscar's brother and one other fellow) showed up on time and finished quicker than planned. After several days, a couple of blisters showed up in the paint on one of the gates. They came out and fixed it within 2-3 days. Great to do business with people who care and install things the way they'd do for themselves. You don't see much of that anymore. Very small job; a hand rail for support from my house down to my patio. I didn't have it put in for glamour but rather safety and that's just what l got. An attractive and useful hand rail that doesn't look like a plain ole' bathroom disability rail. Marcial was the one who came out and estimated; we confirmed a satisfactory price and design. They came out today for the install, and Marcial was here for a few minutes before he left the project in the capable and very friendly hands of Santos. They get 1 star because you actually have to select at least 1 star. Do not call this contractor...perhaps their wrought iron work is decent...I wouldn't know as I couldn't even get the contractor (Oscar) to my property to bid on the job. I initially called and set up an appointment for a Friday at 1pm. I of course had to leave work early that day to meet him and guess what, he no-showed and no-called...I thought perhaps there was a simple mis-communication and we had our dates or times crossed. So I gave them another chance, called back the following Monday and set up another appointment for the forthcoming Friday again at 1pm. Sooooo, Friday comes and I thought it prudent to call and confirm the appointment. I talked with the contractor (Oscar) around 11am approximately 2 hours before our meeting to confirm...low and behold 1pm comes and goes...it isn't until 1.30p that I receive a call only to hear that the contractor (Oscar) will not be able to make it....he suggested that I find someone else... UNBELIEVABLE! How do unprofessional contractors like this stay in business? I'm off my soap box now but I wanted to a least share this experience with those of you out there who maybe considering contacting and/or utilizing the services of Benitez Wrought Iron. They no showed at the time they chose and called me later to try and come late. I had a little trouble getting them to do my quote, but once Oscar came to my residence, and provided a quote things went quickly from there. I did make a few changes to my initial request and the incorporated into the design and held the price neutral. It was a fairly significant amount of work (2-gates, 70 Ft of fencing), and they fabricated and installed in a little over two weeks which was several days faster than expected.
