Sam and his father are the best. They removed, repaired and reinstalled all of the wrought iron railings from the stairwell in our 1931 Spanish Colonial home and they were able to match the design perfectly when making the new stair railings needed for the rest of the house. This may sound easy, but NOT one of the many other competitors we contacted were able or willing to do it. The other companies wouldn't even try; if it wasn't ready made at King Architectural Metals, then it was impossible. In addition, Sam is responsive, honest, and fairly priced. Most impressively, they actually show up when they say they will and don't complain if things end up being harder than they originally thought. Some of the companies we reached out to initially didn't even show up for the appointments they set -- or didn't bother calling back when we left a message. Love, love, love my new Exotic Iron Works gates! I was looking for gates online and came across a photo of a gate that was unique. I sent pics of my gates and Sam called me back right away. He invited me to his shop and and showed me in person. I was in the middle of having stucco done and asked if he would come over once the stucco was done which he did. I said I wanted the front one like you see it and the back bigger gate plain and told me his dad taught him to match them and suggested that I do that but whatever I wanted, he would make. I wanted something to pop that was unique on the plain stucco walls and I am thrilled with the outcome! The combo locks are perfect, just what I was hoping for! They did the beautiful brushed copper on top after installation. Three guys came to install, plus Sam and they were very professional and when I asked questions, they gave explanations. Thanks to Sam and the team at Exotic Iron, we just replaced our ugly old stair railings with a sleek modern set and we absolutely love it. First let me say that Sam was a pleasure to work with from the beginning to the end. He showed us dozens of different directions we could go and let us know that there was no limit as to what they could design. Looking through their photo's I saw that they'e created some extremely ornate and complex iron gates for palatial homes so our clean and simple set must have been a breeze for them. They sent photos throughout the fabrication process and I appreciated their proactive transparency. The railings were ready in about a week and came out exactly as planned. After install was complete, Sam also let us know that he'd be there for us anytime going forward if the railings were damaged in any way to keep them looking good.
