Good assortment of merchandise but small facility and not enough parking spaces for an event

We were a group of 4, made up of 2 people with previous experience in firearms and 2 novices. Andy was amazing, he was so thorough and treated all of us the same! He assessed everyone's knowledge and comfort and answered all the questions we had with details, examples and always explained the why's. I had never owned a gun or fire one. I learned how to load, unload, clear 4 different types of malfunctions, but most importantly I learned so much about my gun. I didn't know what to expect during the classroom training, Andy made the 3 hours fly by. In the shooting range, Andy was there with us the entire time. He helped us be confident with our performance and corrected us when it was needed. We are definitely going to go back to visit Andy for additional range training. If you are a new gun owner, do yourself a favor and hire Andy. Thank you Andy for your patience and knowledge sharing. I definitely feel like a much more responsible gun owner and handler.

An interesting experience nonetheless. I want to start by saying the women I spoke to before coming…read moreand after the incident was very lovely and apologetic. Now, this was the first time I've came to this location and will definitely be the last time. The only reason I came to this range was I grabbed lunch with a great friend at Top Hat Delicatessen and it was down the street. Before entering the shop the sign makes it clear you cannot enter with a loaded concealed carry weapon, not a problem; I proceeded to take out my magazine and place my carry weapon into my range backpack before entering. As I walk in its dark but I can hear gun fire from the range so I pullout my earmuff from my backpack while standing in the lobby when I'm interrupted by a greeting by a man brandishing his firearm stating "what do you want motherf***". I slowly turned around to see him standing behind another counter with his weapon locked and loaded. I advised him that I spoke to a woman about shooting at the range and his response was "she's not here, what do you want motherf***" I proceeded to explain again I'm here to shoot at the ranger. The man at the counter proceeded to call me motherf**** a few more times and to sign this paperwork. I proceeded to advise that the language was unnecessary and I'm good on using there gun range. I asked what his name was (which he refused to provide) then I left wishing him a great day. I would not recommend coming to this facility over better, friendlier, and more professional locations like Gunworld, Revere Gun range, and declarations defense.

Came here for a family reunion and camped on site. I have never been here before and was amazed at…read morethe sheer size of this park. The park is pretty much everything friendly! The dog park area had dogs playing. Boats launching, separated area for RC boats. I even ran into a group of RC 4x4 rock climbing gang. I brought my bike to check out the parks bike trails. These trials are awesome! I live close to Grapefruit trails and this is a great spot to ride. Markham trails are way more extension. Lots of land area, lots of trails. Whoever is putting in the work out here is doing an awesome job! Its a wide Variety of skilled blinds out her. The signage on the trails is everywhere an easy to find. It's so great when a trail splits and there's actually sign that tells you the wrong way. The trails all have different levels of skill and whenever there's a fork in the road the sine will tell you if it's a Black Diamond, red diamond, Intermediate, or easy. I came through and rode most of the green lines then upgraded to the intermediate. After which I immediately tried to start doing some of the black lines and my bike was not well suited for anything that says difficult, extreme, professional, double diamond, red line, and most black lines. Black lines were not too bad lots of inclines fast declines and narrow in between tree gaps. You'll find a few good jumps on the black lines. Some of the trails are completely flat in 2 way traffic at some of them have nice bank turns to race through. If you find the line labeled turtle slide definitely take that path. It's a very fun hill that isn't difficult to master on the way down. They have wood bridges and woodwork all over the park. There's wood bridges that go over the Intermediate lines so that they can show off how awesome they are. The past are very shaded it was 90° out and I didn't feel too hot at all. I was impressed there's first aid kits scattered throughout the whole part. The campground we stayed at was big! The showers were located on campsite h. The showers were tiny and disgusting exactly what you would expect from a campground shower. I was so happy it wasn't nice and fancy but definitely where flip-flops or Crocs. The bathroom at our campsite was quite run down and in questionable condition but sturdy walls. When you poop in nature you don't really complain about the bugs too much. Accountant roaches scurry and buy while pooping really helped The chocolate logs flow out. The campground itself was really nice and a very private even though it was in the middle of everything and close to the gun range. Everybody that worked here was really nice and once we were setting up in our campsite one of the park Rangers brought over a dumpster just for us to use. This place is amazing I'll be back someday to check out the other side of the park and never got to. Hopefully this place never turns into condos in the middle of a city surrounded by stupid loud highways Markham park is a surviving treasure

Compared to other ranges where officers are on their phones mid-duty, these folks actually know what they're doing and keep everyone in line (literally and figuratively). Yes, the wait times can get long--especially on weekends--but honestly, it's Florida's only range where you can hold your spot, wander off, and BBQ with your family while you wait. Our main instructor Joey was great, he really explained everything clearly and took the time to answer everyone's questions. We also heard from another guy who provides liability insurance for gun owners. We went into the shooting range area and there were four different guns that we could try. We were shooting at a paper target rhat looks like a human body. Joey and the other two instructors were really helpful showing us the proper way to hold the gun. After shooting we enjoyed some cocktails and food in their private lounge area.

I am in my 50s and this just seems to check many boxes I was looking for.. GYM, shooting, social events, very very cool sports bar, and others.. I have to admit the exclusiveness is a cool factor and they work hard to get the members together for social events! I am looking forward to bringing my wife when an event is schedule.. I am in my first month and really enjoy everything it has to offer.. the food is GREAT! and entire staff takes pride with the members... I really enjoy stopping on my way home from work so I don't sit in traffic, and relaxing for a bit with a drink or dinner, then continue home.. Quality of members is also a huge factor!
