One of my favorite Gun ranges in the Miami Area. They have almost every type of handguns, rifles, shotguns for rent at affordable prices. Targets are $3-$5 each. I'm writing to express my disappointment with a gun range and shop I once held in very high regard. I have been a loyal customer since I turned 21 and am a combat veteran who has always respected firearm laws and safety. My younger brother, who is currently serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy visited with our elderly mother this location. The intention was to purchase a firearm as a lawful gift for our mother, fully intending to follow all Florida and federal regulations. Unfortunately, they were given incorrect and confusing information by one of the sales associates, who advised my brother to bring documentation that ultimately made a perfectly legal purchase appear improper. When my brother later returned to complete the transaction, he was accused of doing something "shady," despite following the guidance provided by the staff. To make matters worse, the transaction was denied and my brother was charged a restocking fee for a firearm that was never transferred, never handled, and never left the stores possession. When I personally attempted to address this issue with management, the General Manager was dismissive, unwilling to listen, and appeared more focused on defending the store than resolving a situation caused by employee misinformation. No effort was made to clarify, educate, or make things right. I understand and respect the responsibility gun stores carry when it comes to compliance and safety. However, customers--especially first-time buyers--should not be penalized for following guidance provided by staff. This experience showed a lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer care that I did not expect from a business I once trusted. I'm sharing this so potential customers are aware: do your own research and do not rely solely on staff guidance, as this establishment is not friendly or helpful to first-time buyers--even those who are active duty military or veterans. Although I've been to Pembroke Gun and Range several times in the past, I never thought to leave a review. Today, I as at "the range" and had a great time with friends. The check-in process was smooth, the staff helpful and the range was clean. One thing I enjoy at Pembroke Gun and Range is it's well ventilated and well lit. It's a great place to learn and to train. What most people don't realize is that you can actually rent the range for tactical training, AND, they have a classroom where you can take CWP classes and others. This place is ok. The guys at the desk are typical dudes at a gun range sick of dealing with everyone and all of their BS. The actual range was lackluster. Humid af and nasty. They put our 2 lanes right against everyone else when there was plenty of space. Their pully on one of the lanes malfunctioned and we had to switch lanes which gave us more space, thankfully. Was looking for a gun range near Miami and came across this. It it very close to 95 and in a warehouse complex. They do have parking in the front of their space. Inside you check in with the guys at the front then assigned us to our lane. Very nice to have a low flat fee of $15 per person for the entire day. Gun range itself has quite a few lanes and it was not busy when we came. They do have someone their to offer lessons which is nice for someone who is new to shooting. After shooting we checked out the inventory they had and there were quite a few options of both rifles and pistols. They also had various other accessories. Had a bad experience where one of the staff members was being a total dickhead with a stick up his ass when I brought my girlfriends younger brother who was 17 years old to the range and he didn't want to let him go shooting without his parents being present even though we had adults older than 27 present in our group. They allow you to shoot AR's at a 15 yards minimum and if you get their AR specific target. I was grateful to give myself the chance to be more open minded and pembroke definitely is a great place to educate ourselves and learn more about how to handle guns. I booked the experience through groupon not knowing what to expect and I'm glad I gave this place a try! I came in signed the waiver and they immediately asked me for My ID and I was set. The only complaint is that the guy at the counter was not in the best of moods and was super harsh. He was going through the process very quickly and treated us like we had experience. We were given the choice of gun to share , the protective glases and earmuffs we had to pay extra for the amos We were kind of clueless such as: 1. We did not know how to disarm or load the bullets by ourselves yet we had to do it by ourselves in the range for security purposes 2. we were not allowed to pre-load at the counter 3.We did not know much about the different guns. The guy was not really interested in educating us and felt as if we were not very important. However, as you enter the range it's a different feeling. Me and my mom felt very good about what we were doing for some weird reason! As I pulled the trigger, I felt this sense of adrenaline running through my veins that noise of the bullets shooting out through the sockets and pointing at the target was AMAZING! You felt alive and free! If you don't have experience and want to try it out I definitely recommend this place, Safety : not the best... there's like no body in the range watching over you... you really are all by yourself in an assigned lane.. so if you are worried and that's your main concern.. This place was alot of fun for some fun range shooting. I purchased a Groupon for two people with all equipment included. The guys who work there are very knowledgeable and nice. He walked us through a safety training before going into the gun range. The Groupon mentioned that you get range fees, targets, eye and ear protection, and firearm rental. From the sounds of it, one would think that it's all inclusive. When you show up, you come to find out that you need to buy your own bullets. Bullets are around $25 for 50 bullets. FYI, 50 bullets can be gone in less than 5 minutes of shooting. I would recommend a better disclosure before buying the Groupon so people can be prepared to pay an extra $25-100+ for the actual experience. read more

I've been contemplating for the longest to get my gun license and after talking to a friend of mine about it, I was determined to go through with it. Pembroke Gun & Range was located within warehouses on Pembroke Road and can be easily found if you follow the signs, and you can't miss it's big yellow sign. As I came out of my vehicle, I can hear gunshots from within the range. Was I scared? Not really. I was more filled with anticipation to be in that range and letting go a few rounds. Once inside, I spoke to a pleasant gentleman who gave me the information on the concealed weapons course that takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The cost of the course is $75 plus $13 for the range fee. Six people, including myself, showed up to the Saturday concealed weapons course. Tim, a certified firearms instructor; explained to everyone how to apply for a concealed weapon license, how to carry and where not to carry a concealed weapon, and the justifiable use of force of a concealed weapon. Tim also showed us how to load, hold, and fire a concealed weapon; which was a semi-automatic glock 19. Then we were taken to the target range to practice shooting with real ammunition. Man what a rush. I honestly wanted to continue shooting more rounds. Tim told us that we can come back any day to practice at the range, which I would really want to do. Afterwards, everyone received a certificate for attending the course. Before I left, I asked about the cost of the glock 19. I really like the feel of it in my hands and with a bit more practice, I would definitely get used to it. read more

I understand the difference between "luxury" services, but never understand why any business that is providing one would be less than hospitable. Went in today with a couple of military buddies we went to shoot my new Mossberg... We used buckshot and we ended up shooting the Target off it just ripped it to shreds. So I went outside spoke to Tim(guy with beard sits in the office) told him about it... asked him if he could come in and put another cardboard up so we can continue shooting..he and another employee were standing there both acknowledged me both said okay never showed back up so we spent the rest of the time trying to finagle a way to shoot targets the customer service is horrendous I will advise every veteran I know to stay clear. Not everybody's an expert and people go to learn and try to get better but the nasty attitude and unprofessionalism from the guys that work there like they know it all is ridiculous. TL;DR - place is decent, I doubt if I will be back. Came in here because its close to my house and I just wanted to get in some range time. Ive been here before so I knew what to expect. Bottom line, thank you to the range officers and staff for dealing with the idiots and unsafe people. I left early because of the nonsense I saw. I understand they are running a business but there are some people who shouldnt be in there and well just look at all the gun shots in the ceiling next time you are there. I found the staff to be nice and I didnt buy anything other than lane rental. It will be hard for me to go back when other ranges have better options, better lanes, soundproofing, ventilation etc.. read more

All I wanted to do for my birthday was shoot. I had never been to Pembroke gun & range before, I just didn't feel like making the drive to my usual place, so I came here as it was a quick drive. Since the moment we got in, Patrick was knowledgeable, helpful & so friendly. I told him it was my birthday & he made sure I felt SO special & went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. Long story short, I have NEVER spent such a long time at a range before.
