This place is great! I called about renting a unit one month out and they placed it on a hold for me. The office staff is very helpful and accommodating. When it came time to rent the unit, when I went into the office and the process was very fast and easy. The unit was clean and in working order. I only the needed the unit for one month and they were able to accommodate. When it came time to move out, I turned in my vacate notice and was unsure how many trips it would take to move my items out. The office manager changed my access to 24 hours for the day to make sure I did not worry about access which she did not have to do but was appreciated. The hours of access are very accommodating. Ok, so it may be a little odd to review a storage unit facility (hence why I am the first to review). It's just a place to throw your stuff when your stuff won't fit in your place, right? And usually having that extra stuff means having moved all that extra stuff from one place to another--which ranks right up there with jumping naked in a tub full of scissors of things I really do not enjoy doing. Moving day is not much fun, but what an incredible difference things like local ownership, friendly service and dedication to quality can do to make it easier. First off, the facility is immaculate. We're talking CLEAN. There are multiple sized units for storing stuff large and small. All of the area is covered by closed-circuit surveillance and a maintenance/security employee who regularly patrols the grounds. Payment was easy and convenient. Every time I went into the office the front desk staff and owners were always gracious and nice. Best part is that Armour is involved in the local community and it shows. They have great discounts for local businesses, and it's cool to have a place live up to it's reputation both in quality and customer service. Must be a Flag thing... hope these guys are around for a long time :) read more

As well as gated storage for extra safety, but they also have 24 hour storages for those odd hours that we may need to pick up stuff. Really friendly staff and super secure storage facility! I loved how secure this facility was; there is a security gate before entering the actual unit which requires a code you make for yourself. Prices will be based on how big of the unit you'll be renting out; I don't remember what size I rented out but I know it was $79 a month (not including tax). It was a pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend this storage facility over the others! One more thing, you are only granted access MON-SUN 6AM to 7PM. The only storage place I've used in flagstaff. Very good prices and such nice people. I actually lost a ring and unfortunately was out of state and couldn't come back to retrieve it due to COVID and the fact that I just do not have the resources to come back to Arizona currently for a ring. They kept the ring safe and the manager (Leslie) was so nice about trying to get it back to me. They let me store my car unlike other places after a bad wreck until I was able to figure out what to do with it when I was pressured to get it off campus even though I had nowhere else to put it. The staff is just so friendly and helpful and I've never ever had a bad experience on the phone or in person no matter who I interact with even when I'm asking a bunch of questions or scrambling to get my ID out of my wallet read more

Hey y'all- I did an emergency move from AZ to east coast. So I had to have friends organize my move to this storage unit. Lezlie at this facility was soooo helpful!! When I ran into some personal issues a few months in they were very kind and flexible with our payment arrangement until I was able to begin normal payment again, which is not something that would be possible with a chain. I guess this is a great place if u don't have any difficulties in your life, but if you have hard times they will grab your stuff and say it's just their policy. I have had a stroke and a diagnosis of pneumonia and I live in my car and I have one tiny check that comes in once a month for A couple hundred dollars. The check comes in on the 2nd. I pleaded with the manager Leslie to give me an extra DAY to pay my bill. Not a week a DAY. Leslie would have none of it. I am in such a bad place physically I can hardly move but it doesn't matter to anyone at Armour storage. Rules must be followed and the company must be paid. Everything I own which is not much is in that little storage but they would rather grab it for their auction. I hate armour storage and I hate Leslie and hope their karma comes back to them. We live very far from my daughter who is a student at NAU in Flagstaff. It is so hectic when we take her back and forth to school. We usually only have one day to get her in and out of her dorm room. We really enjoy working with Armour Self Storage. They make it so easy to get her settled both at the beginning of the year and at the end of the year. They always have the perfect size unit whether we are sharing or just need a small unit for my daughter's things only. They also have moving supplies if you forget anything ! They are always friendly and readily available to answer questions. We always feel that our belongings are safe and will be in the same condition as when we left them. They have a relaxing and welcoming front office where you can enjoy free coffee while you discuss your payments with them. The customer service is the best I've ever dealt with! The units are well priced and the whole property is spotlessly clean and very welcoming. I was sharing a unit with my roommate, but when we decided to go separate ways it got complicated regarding possession claiming and payments...I was scared my ex-roommate would possibly steal my stuff, and leave me with fees (Unit was in my name) - The staff was able to help us both move out with as little drama as possible!
