These fine people got me through a 2- household out-of-state move beautifully. It was a lot to coordinate and glitches happened (on my end; not theirs), but they figured it out and made it work. I had contact with about a dozen of these folks throughout the steps required for my move, and every one of them was polite and considerate. From the beginning, Maria coordinated things, and proved herself to be exceptional to work with. She surely had her hands full with me and my glitches, but was always professional and took the load off of me more than once. Excellent communication at all times. The move itself went smoothly, and they handled my things well on both ends. That included my grandfather's grandfather clock, which was even perfectly leveled for me after it was unloaded (first time in the dozen or so times that I've had the clock moved that leveling has even been offered). All the way through, they were quick and efficient, and it was a pleasure to hear and see them work together - an easy comraderie, and learned expectation of how each will move, regardless of which ones are on the job. Even the crew of 8 people that were present for one of the steps worked together quickly and flawlessly. During the long haul out of state, one ancient wooden item came apart at a couple of very old glue seams - not at all the fault of the movers - just vibrations. I hadn't asked for any special handling, and after looking at it in my home for decades, was not the least bit upset about it coming apart at the seams. But I was offered a partial refund anyway. No thanks; no need for that. However, I did sincerely appreciate the offer. Just another example of the integrity of this outfit. To be trusted. These people know exactly how to handle every step of the job from the first phone call through the follow up call after the move. Highly recommend! read more

These guys were great! Connor, the lead, was easy to communicate with. They all listened before they launched, so we didn't have any disconnects downstream. These guys were GREAT! We had a 5 man team come to move us into our new house. We already had a portion of the truck moved, but when they arrived they got over half of the 26 ft moving truck and our uhaul trailer done in less than 2 hours! They were so careful and respectful of our belongings, and also just all around very courteous. Also, you cannot beat the price! They charged us $500 for the 2 hours of work but we ended up leaving them tips as well because they really did deserve it. If you are in the Flagstaff area, give them a call for moving help! They showed up on time to move our furniture for a re-carpeting job. There were 5 of them and they worked their collective tails off to get the house cleaned out in 90 minutes. Then of course this being flagstaff and all the carpet company didn't show up. 3 days later the carpets were finally finished and a new moving crew arrived to get things back in order. The only snag was there were some issues the new crew wasn't aware of which they had to come back a day or 2 later to correct, which they did do. So would we hire these movers again? OK, I move a lot. I've moved 15 times in the last 12 years. Every time I've moved, I accumulate more and more stuff. My last three moves, we finally stopped begging friends with trucks to help and just decided to finally hire movers. The Firemen movers has been recommended to us, and they were extremely easy to work with. They have been accurate in booking and giving estimates as to the price. When the day of the move comes, they are punctual and they are QUICK- and I mean quick. They were literally jogging up and down the stairs. My 3 bedroom apartment was loaded up and unloaded to our new house within 2 hours, even dealing with a flight of stairs. I can't stress enough how worth it it is to use the Firemen movers. These are the guys to hire if you don't mind your things being broken. If you don't mind a total lack of respect for your things. Boxes were just crammed full of whatever that was next to them. The taping was horrible leading to boxes that just fell apart while you're trying to carry them. No labels not even which room the box came from. I hired them to load my trailer and it was the worst packing job I have ever seen, very poor use of space. I had to tear half the trailer back out to re-organize. The crew was completely unable to follow directions in any way, shape or form. I would highly recommend that they spend a significant amount of time playing Jenga and Tetris. read more

We hired the fireman movers for a move within the Flagstaff area. The guys were incredibly hard workers and were literally running back into the house after delivering things into the truck and later from the new home back to the truck. We were very impressed and surprised at how quickly and diligently they worked. Unfortunately our TV stand/table broke in transit but they were very accommodating in making sure we were able to reasonably replace it and offered some that others had decided not to keep during their move. They carefully wrapped our furniture and stacked our boxes strategically in the truck. It would've taken us many, very-long days to accomplish what they completed in only 5 hours and we couldn't be more grateful! Their diligence and professionalism was very much appreciated for my husband and I and their work was worth every single penny. We'll hire them for any moves we make without a doubt. I wish we had less stuff but we definitely needed their help and their truck. Tip: You'll need to pack everything beforehand and if you've completed everything in an organized way on your end, they'll be that much faster. Tip 2: I color coded each box and labeled each room in the new home and hung up a sheet with each of the colored stickers explained succinctly which helped us not have to move many boxes ourselves into the rooms. It took them a little longer but overall it was very well worth it to us and made unpacking and getting settled that much quicker, painless and more enjoyable. although I'm giving them a not good rainy most things were moved very well but they move so fast that they broke a Don Reitz platter... any artists out there will know that that is basically an on replaceable incredible piece of art... But the operator lady I spoke to just says vehemently that she did not break it even though when I moved the box there was the broken well packed piece of art laying on the floor not even inside the package anymore.. All she gives me is backtalk... They didn't give me a chance to make an insurance claim or anything else and it is a great personal loss and beware... My calls were never answered and nobody even came to help me move my dresser which was the only thing left needing to go into my moving truck. Sad considering I tried to go through a local business! I recently used the Firemen Movers to move within the city of Flagstaff. This is has been the third time I've chosen to use them - for good reason. They're quick, cautious and courteous! I have a few very large, fragile art pieces that arrived without incident. All I did was explain how to handle them, and they took care of them all! I had a bit of a scare with this move - I couldn't find my jewelry boxes. They even came by a week or so after I'd gotten most of my goods unpacked to help me find those treasures! We have used Firemen Movers for 4 different moves been very pleased for the first three moves. However, this fourth move has been a real mess. It was a 5 man crew and it seemed like there was no supervisor and they were all new at the job. After about an hour and a half of packing they informed us that it wouldn't all fit on a 26 ft. truck and we would have to get another 26 ft. truck. My husband went to rent another truck after discussing the fact that we shouldn't need another 26 ft truck he reserved a 16 ft truck. While he was gone to pick up the truck I made suggestions as to what should be packed next. As the clock reached the 2 hour point they basically quit loading anything, even though the truck wasn't full. They gave me an invoice and asked for a check, and left. I called my husband and told him to cancel the truck because there was no way we needed another 16 ft. Luckily Penske let him cancel the additional $3,000 truck. He came home and we finished loading the truck. My husband is 67 and I'm 70 so this was no easy feat. After filling the truck and making 2 donations to Restore, a local charity, we rented a 5x8 U-Haul and finished the job. We are now at our destination and a new company just unloaded the truck for us. We had ordered 4 dozen furniture pads. The Firemen only used 2 dozen. However they loaded hardwood chairs, wood entertainment center pieces, wooden coffee tables etc. without using any of the pads. Needless to say we have scratches and damage that definitely could have been avoided if they would have taken the time and care to load the truck properly. This damage was found on items that they had first loaded in the truck, not on anything we added because we used the provided pads. This experience was horrible and absolutely unnecessary. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND FIREMEN MOVERS!!!! read more

Im absolutely astounded at the exceptional service these people provide. They promised to be at my house at 9 am and they arrived at 8:57 ready to go. I had a 3 story townhouse to be moved. I was impressed with how fast they moved everything. I was not 100% ready for the move assuming incorrectly it would take hours to move out of my 2700 sq ft home. I ended up having to trash stuff that wasn't fully packed, which was my fault for not being 100% ready. I put everything into 2 long term storage containers and they did not pack very efficiently. It will be such a mess to have to move into my next home. If you want fast service, Fireman movers are a great choice. read more

They are amazing movers!!! I moved from a second floor apartment to a townhouse with two floors. They had me loaded, moved, and unloaded in just over an hour. Even with this amazing speed, they took great care of my stuff and everything was placed carefully and neatly in the new place in the proper rooms. They moved our house to storage today. The entire experience with this firm was exceptional. We booked a few weeks in advance. They confirmed a few days out and arrived at our house exactly when promised. We have worked with many movers over the past 40 years, including large interstate movers and local movers. We have The Firemen Movers helped us to move three times already. Our first two experiences were exceptionally positive. The movers remain high quality. No reservation for the movers. Our recent 3rd moving was disappointed with their office contact person, a woman. Don't remember her name. She was the one arranged our recently 3rd move summer 2018. She sent one truck with three movers only. We informed her that previously they sent two trucks and six movers to complete the move. Unfortunately, she sent one truck with three movers only. It was not enough to move the three-bedroom belongings in one day. She was unable to arrange another moving truck and more movers on the same day. To complete the job, another move had to be arranged. It cost us 1/3 more than the original cost and the move was done a week later. It created a great deal of issues on our side. We feel it is unfair to the movers since three people needed to move six movers' workload. The three movers were very polite and apologetic while the woman from the office did not apologize and insisted we did not inform her. We did and they have moved us twice already. Such customer services were unacceptable. We feel so bad for the three movers because they were overworked and did their best to complete the move but it was too much for them to complete in one move. We were told that they will e-mail us the receipt. After three weeks, we did not receive it. We contacted them. Finally, we received the receipt. read more
