Reading these reviews I'm now understanding why I didn't go with them. My request was directed to their company via Yelp and when I look at the reviews they all primarily were related to roofing. I needed assistance with replacing a patio window. I'm any case Andy called me and provided me an estimate over the phone and low and behold their price was OVER DOUBLE what every other company quoted me. Now I can understand if maybe in was 1 or 2 however I am one to really shop around and customer service is first priority and cost is second but when you're that much over "competitors" something is not adding up!! After all these years I am still satisfied with the roof they put on my house. Their product is the most comfortable roof I have had. My place stays cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. I had one small problem with my roof and they were out here and fixed it quickly. If I ever need a new roof it would be from these people. We used Armstrong to replace the windows in our home in San Bruno. The initial salesman came out in the evening and even though we seemed to be going on and on, the salesman was patient and we did not feel rushed at all. I will admit there were some things that made my wife and I a little skeptical of the company and the job, but overall, we are very pleased with the entire job! In the end, it was a great experience! There were a couple of issues with our job, but the company worked with us in making sure everything was correct and we felt comfortable before moving forward. Roman (a Senior window installer) came out to take final measurements and make sure answered all of questions making sure we were comfortable proceeding. Throughout the process we spoke with Nick over the phone and we could not be more pleased with the level of service he provided. There were a few financial issues that arose and Nick was excellent in resolving them for us. He was amazing! The workers were on time, polite, efficient and answered any questions I had. Armstrong did a foam roof in Berkeley at our house in 2016 and it has not held up. For anyone considering them, look elsewhere. Their customer service is very difficult to reach, and their installation crew is inexperienced and does not have good problem solving skills for even typical details. Our house had two windows at the roof line of a split level. The installers left a negative grade in the sill flashing where it met the roof, leaving water to pool, rot and infiltrate the window sills, coming down through the wall and destroying the ceiling. This was obvious with a level and some common sense. I can understand a big company having to rely on inexperienced labor, but then they wouldn't stand by their work. The first time they sent someone they sent the "real experienced guy" who said everything was totally fine and tried to pitch us on a recoat. Why would we need a recoat after 5 years? Then they sent a salesperson who said there was no way Armstrong could have put the flashing there. That despite the fact HE DIDN'T BRING A LADDER or even look at the flashing. This company is too big, doesn't care about the individual customer, and was so quick to shed responsibility. Armstrong are not quality contractors. The foam roof can be a nice solution for flat roof situations with tight attic spaces and the benefit of insulation on an older house, but there are smaller companies that have longer-retained staff and more conscientious owners. Avoid these guys at all costs. read more

After numerous attempts of DIY roof patches over the years we caved in & called the professionals. Armstrong fixed our flat garage roof (I'm talking years ago). Finally no leaks. It has held up extremely well. Loved their work. Fast forward to today. A neighbors tree fell down and put a huge dent on the eave of the garage roof. Ugh! Called Armstrong and they scheduled a day to come look at the damage. They arrived as promised and fixed the eave on the spot. No delays. I now don't have to worry that their previous work was compromised. They fixed it!!!! So happy with Armstrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

We have an Eichler home with a flat foam roof. There aren't that many roofers who will work on these roofs. We've been wanting to upgrade our aged solar panels but needed to ensure that our roof was in good enough shape that we won't have to redo everything shortly after. Armstrong came out and assessed our roof. They said it was in good shape, didn't need replacing for another 3-5 years, and that we should consider waiting until then to get both, a new roof and new solar panels, at the same time. They did not try to sell us any unnecessary work and reassured us that the minor bubbling we noticed was expected and no cause for concern yet. We'll be calling again in 3-5 years to move forward. read more

Finding the best way to install a new roof on a flat roofed home (MCM Eichler) is a bit daunting. It requires quite a bit of research, time, energy, and patience to explore all of the available options. I'm not going to speak about all of the options here, but will focus on foam roofing, which I believe to be the best all-around option for roofs with little to no pitch. When it comes to foam roofers, there is not as many options in the Bay Area as I would have expected given the number of Eichler neighborhoods there are. I contacted all of the firms I could, and had a frustrating experience in having several no-shows after I'd scheduled an appointment for an estimate. So, when Scot Proctor (senior estimator) from Armstrong Roofing showed up on time, walked the roof with me, spent tons of time and expertise discussing the state of my roof and the options, I was impressed. I had several additional wrinkles in my roofing project (installing new canned led lights in the ceiling/roof, rebuilding a deck overhang, and drainage pipe issues) and Scot patiently worked with me (and some subs) to not only get the job done, but to get it done well. I can't speak too highly of his flexibility and willingness to work to best meet my needs. Truly exceptional service. When the roofing crew, led by Eliseo (foreman), came by to perform the work, they were prompt, thorough, and professional. Even after the re-roofing, Scot has continued to be in contact with me regarding my satisfaction with the work, and roof quality. As another reviewer mentioned, the new foam roof has helped with house insulation, especially in keeping it cooler in the summer (we don't have HVAC/AC). We've had our new roof for approximately two years now, and were very happy with the performance of the roof during the heavy rains last winter (no issues whatsoever). So, after having lived with the roof now I'm posting an overdue review in endorsement for Armstrong Roofing... thanks, great job! read more

Beware Armstrong Roofing, Emeryville, CA - Not Reputable My one-year old Armstrong foam & gravel roof shed small stones into drains, clogging and flooding them. This November, I had $10K of damage to my house to remove water in walls. Discount Plumbers, recommended by Farmers, cited my roof spout, gutter and drain was clogged with Armstrong's roofing materials. Armstrong letters, contracts, warranties say nothing about roof shedding. Armstrong refused any negotiation for reimbursing me or even inspecting my roof for excessive shedding in violation of its own warranty. Avoid them. read more

HEADLINE: Its now almost four years since I posted this review and I can't tell you how many times this Company has reached out to me to try and change it or otherwise find ways to rationalize their outrageous quote in the first place ... now, they post this lame comment based upon their "investigation" I stand by my review to this day ... and, note the satisfaction ratings by fellow Yelpers The Company's commentary has nothing to do with the egregious pricing presented me in the quote / had nothing to do with the minor damage and bubbling of the substrata membrane coating the stucco NOT THE PAINT / and the paint work was finally and very successfully performed by another vendor for under $7000. I am exceedingly happy with that craftsman's work, and it was $16,000 less than Armstrong's quote. Armstrong, all your commentary has done has brought a four year old negative (and extremely highly rated) review back to the top of the list with my update. Still ... We had a very poor experience using Armstrong. We were initially considering them to replace our roof, but when he found out we needed to paint the house, the salesman convinced us to do both through Armstrong, & he applied a discount for the two jobs. Even with the discount, the full price was very expensive, ~30% higher than other bids. But we went in believing what we had been told: Armstrong is the "quality" vendor; they'll do the job right the first time & stand by their product/service; the customer comes first. Wrong. 1) The salesman sold us features that were not installed & was later "not available" to explain himself. 2) The roof job leaked in first rain. Armstrong had to come back out twice to fix it. 3) The exterior paint was applied too thin so we could see the original color through the new paint. Armstrong had to come out to apply more. 4) When painting our front concrete steps, they didn't first strip the pre-existing old paint; just painted right over the top of it. That promptly bubbled & peeled in the first rain. They came back out & re-painted it, again without stripping. Again that bubbled & peeled. Finally on the third try, they stripped all old paint, applied a bonding layer & painted. This was the RIGHT way that should have been done months prior! 5) In our dealings with Armstrong, we were eventually handed to Arthur Levine, COO, who treated us smugly & disrespectfully, like he just wanted to be done with us. There's a LOT more detail behind each of these issues, including paper trails of emails & phone voice-mail recordings substantiating all of this. The management team apparently gives direct orders to line employees (an employee told us this!) to cut cost at the behest of project quality & customer satisfaction. Even after we complained, they continued to find quick, cheap ways to get the job done, instead the RIGHT way. We will never use them again, & we caution those considering them. UPDATE Since publishing my initial review above, we have received numerous calls from the owner of Armstrong. In fact, over the past couple of months, we've received no less than ten calls. (I refrain from publishing his name here to protect his privacy.) The gentleman was fully versed in all of the details of our account and our experiences, and he came across as genuinely remorseful for the negative service we received and genuinely concerned with "making good" by us. He also indicated he had already worked internally to fix what was broken operationally vis-a-vis our experience. For us, all of this equates to a negative experience turned positive. But this is just for us. We sincerely hope that the leader(s) of the business have indeed fixed what was broken, for the sake of future customers. read more

In November we needed to have our roof replaced and we started calling roofers to get estimates. Armstrong Roofing scheduled the estimate and then never showed up. They didn't even call to let us know there were problems. We called them to let them know that the person never showed up for the estimate. The woman in customer service had some stupid excuse for the person who was supposed to do our estimate and against my better judgment my husband re-scheduled. So, our second scheduled estimate appointment came and went and guess what? They didn't show up or call. Same as last time. I was livid. It is not like I am a stay at home mom and I just have time to sit around and wait for people to show up. That is why you make an appointment. I will never do business with Armstrong roofing. If you can't show up when a sale is on the line then how will you handle your customer when they really need you? read more

If only every home improvement experience could meet this standard! I needed a new roof and I requested bids from six companies in the East Bay. I've hired roofers before (standing-seam metal & composition shingle). I wanted a solution that was was economical in every sense but my biggest concerns were cost of ownership and quality of guarantee. Armstrong gets five stars on both counts. Two big points here - their foam roof solution did not require the removal of my existing roof (no-waste/green) and the insulation value of the new roof keeps our heating & cooling costs down. I'm a green renovator and everything that minimizes waste and lowers energy consumption makes me very happy. The other big point for your comparison shopping is the warranty period. The other companies wanted me to accept 3 or 5 year warrantees or pay extra for 10 year coverage. Armstrong offers 15 YEAR warranty coverage as their standard for foam roofing. Green solution, unbeatable warranty and trouble-free installation. It is not the least expensive solution but for my budget it is the best solution! read more

Once I started receiving "we paint houses!" flyers at a rate of twice a week, I took the hint and started to look around for someone to get the job done before the rainy season started. I have 110+ year old Victorian, so this is not a task to be undertaken lightly. I contacted a number of people / companies for quotes, including Armstrong Painting, figuring that it would be good to know what the fully-staffed-front-office radio-ads-every-15-minutes (three sevens....aaaannnnddd a 1-2-3-4) it'd-be-my-high-quote top-of-range price I could expect. I don't know -- maybe it's the economy, maybe the estimator took pity on me, maybe I somehow ended up in opposite-land -- but Armstrong came in at the bottom of the range, quote-wise. Although I usually don't go with the "cheapest quote" people, they had an excellent rating with the BBB, an impressive resume of other houses they've painted (including the Six Sisters in SF), and a great warranty (and with them being in business for a zillion years, the warranty actually means something). Within two weeks of signing the contract, they started. Three weeks after that, they were done. For my house, it was a crew of three people, cleaning, scraping, replacing rotted sections, priming (spray), caulking, and patching for about a week and a half, and then painting (brushes) for another week or so. They cleaned up every evening, and did a great job of masking off windows, ground, driveway, nearby cars, etc. I found exactly one dot of paint where it didn't belong. Bonus star because halfway into the process, I did the nightmare-client thing, and told them that I wanted to add a fifth color for accent and a little more detail work in a couple places and that I could handle it myself once they were done, since it wasn't what the original contract called for... They just didn't need to paint over the primer in those sections. Um, yeah, so I can be tacky at times. I'm not sure I want to know what they said behind my back, but they continued to be super-professional and super-friendly, and actually did the detail work and the fifth color on the last couple days. Overall, they did a great job -- Lots of compliments from the neighbors, and I haven't seen a "we paint houses!" flyer for weeks. read more

This job estimator never called me back or followed up on their own work or return my calls. Ok..... Allowed me to write a little case history... Rewind back a few years.... I bought a brand new roof from Armstrong Roofing a few years back. After the final check was cut and cashed, there was no follow up, post sale. Not a word from him to see if the problems I showed him with my old tar and gravel roof was corrected or not? Now fast forward back to the present - here and now.... With the winter storms in the San Francisco bay area my roof started dripping around the fall 2010. I called the original roofer, Armstrong Roofing and somehow my service request got escalated to the CEO Mitch Fine and as we chatted on it turns out we both went to the same high school. He was a awesome professional businessman who gave me many options on what he can do for my roof as he says they been super busy with the storms and he would help me on my roofing problem. Many many awesome kudos to Mitch. ********************* UPDATED March 2011 *************************** ARMSTRONG Roofing representatives - CEO Mitch Fine and Takis Hanoumis -are great business minded professional who takes care of their customers - new and old. It was a pleasant experience dealing with these two gentlemen. I would have no problem recommending work for them. Heck, when my other properties in the Sunset District and in the Silicon Valley needs a new roof, I will probably buy another Armstrong roof but only from Mitch or Takis. Same goes for the crew who did the physical labor. Kudos to them for doing a awesome job as well. On Saturday afternoon a door to door lead generator selling Armstrong came by asking if I needed windows replaced dropping my neighbor's name as a referral when my wood floors were being varnished. Given I needed 6 windows replaced and the last quote I received was for an amount I could buy a nice new BMW for I said what the heck. My Armstrong estimator showed up on time. Measuring the windows took 5 minutes, using my bathroom 5 minutes (eww.. something about people using your bathroom - the floor refinisher guys would use my bathroom. My bathroom became similar to public urinal in stench. Took a haz mat suit, triple gloves and 3 sponges to get rid of the splatter from urine on the walls, floor and several washings with clorox, lysol sprays to get rid of the smell and leaving the window open for days on end to air). For this they lose a star. Took 10 minutes to write up an estimate. The estimator then gave me an estimate with 1 choice only of window brands which when I looked up the options and reviews, was not the best in the market. But, it was the only brand Armstrong carries for wood. For this he loses another star for not being upfront and pushing one brand. He took 1 hour to do all this with real work about 15 minutes, the rest was chit chatting and his bathroom time. The catalog did not have the right photos of the windows I wanted (this is more of bad salesmanship versus Armstrong, so didn't take off another star). So, if you go with Armstrong, make sure you ask: What options, what ratings for the windows, and when they call to remind you of the appointment, make sure you tell them (unless you're cool with people peeing and pooping in your bathroom) to have their guys use the bathroom first before coming. read more

I looked into many options for a new roof after two leaks developed last year. Our roof was old and although our home is not large, there are 4 different levels of roof, due to the hill our home is built on. Their foam roof solution seemed like the most sensible choice. We replaced the tar and gravel roof in September with the foam roof. We also had a small leak around a large drainage pipe that goes out through the roof for years and no one was completely sure where that was originating. Our new roof survived all the rain this winter without a problem. The leaks were gone and I was happy except that the wet pipe extending down into the basement was still wet after rains. I called Derrina when I saw this was not resolved and someone was here within hours. They tried putting a cover on the pipe. Still leaked the next rain. Foamed around the pipe. Still leaked. Finally replaced the entire pipe, no charge, and the problem is resolved. For the first time in years our home is bone dry. Every time I called to report the situation, they responded within hours. It's not only doing a good job that's important to me. It's being responsive. And Armstrong (and Derrina) were always responsive and on the spot. read more

Armstrong painted the exterior of our home. After many issues surrounding timeline and communication, it finally got done...or did it?On the final day of painting, we weren't home to inspect the project and the painters collected the final payment check from our nanny. It turns out that there is an entire side of the house up top that they completely missed. Someone came out and looked, then came out again with a painter to confirm that indeed, they missed an entire portion of the side of the house and that someone would be in touch to schedule them to return...it would be "weather permitting." 2 months later and NOTHING. They've been paid for a project that they haven't completed, and the communication/resolution has been terrible. If I could do this over, I would have hired a different company entirely. I'm about to place another call to try to get the project completed. **********************Update, April 2011********************** Well, for the first time in my yelp life, I'm reserving the right to change my mind (and review...drastically...) for the first time. I assure you this is rare, because I've been known to hold a grudge. After writing my previous review, I placed an angry call to Armstrong. I quickly received a return call from the CEO of the company who seemed genuinely interested in understanding the history of my issues and scope of my complaint. Since then, he has actually made a visit to our home to inspect the work and resolve all outstanding issues with the work that has been done. The CEO's personal investment in the quality of the work, and the commitment to customer satisfaction was refreshing. There may be a "bad egg" or two floating around the organization, but I feel good about the fact that the company is being led by someone who actually cares about their product and customers. We have some potential future work and after this interaction, I'd definitely consider using Armstrong again. read more

I have had several windows installed along with exterior painting and a new roof - all through Armstrong. They were honest and forthright about the cost from the beginning and were careful and thorough with their work in the process. My cost estimator, Scott Proctor - even came by to make sure that I was happy during each phase. They are at the forefront of new roofing technologies and installed a foam roof that will outlast my life. After years of negative experiences with contractors in our home improvements - I am relieved to have found a sound organization that I can trust In the future, I will always look to Armstrong first for any home improvement need. read more

I found Armstrong while searching the internet for foam roofing. Not knowing much about the company, I asked my brother if he'd heard of them and he went 777 and a 1234. He knew them from the old days listening to the ball games on the radio. I called them and scheduled an appointment. I found out that the pitch of my roof was to high for foam roofing, so I opted for composition shingle roofing instead. I received bids from 2 other companies in the area, but found Armstrong's service record and warranties were outstanding. Out of the 3 that came out, Armstrong just felt more professional. What really amazes me is that they were the only company that pointed out to me that there wasn't any ply wood on my roof. I don know how my roof passed inspection when I bought it because all there was was those 4" wide wood beams with the shingles attached to them. Their crew was fast and professional. I would recommend Armstrong to anyone who needed a real professional company. read more

Anyway, I was shopping around for a foam roof and a relative in the East Bay told me I should call them because they have ads on the radio all the time and he couldn't forget the phone number. I called, they came, showed up and gave me a quote. Well, it was the most expensive, but after looking around, they do have the best warranty, and they weren't gong to nickel and dime me for other little things I needed to do while having the roof done (move a downspout, install bathroom fans, etc). The work was done (it's a tough job and messy so don't expect ANYONE is going to not make a mess) on time and all the people from Armstrong I've talked to have been responsive. I guess I can only give them 5 stars after I live with the roof over a year and see how it effects my heating and cooling cost as the foam is supposed to do. If you want the best (and most expensive) you go with Armstrong in my view. read more

In October of last year, I had my house painted by Armstrong. The original paint on my custom built home was approximately 10 years old. I thought it was time to redo the exterior paint and hired Armstrong to do the job. To be honest, I have to say their price is not all that cheap, yet so far, I have been happy with their work and the quality of their special formula paint. The stucco of the house before painting felt really dry and rough, and after the new paint they put on, there is a soft rubbery feel to the stucco. Also, they've done a wonderful job filling in the cracks at the base of the front columns at the entrance. The foreman in charge of the job was very diligent and made sure nothing was missed. I have noticed ratings on this company differ vastly from one reviewer to another. I am sure each of them is writing his or her review based on their personal experience. As for me, dealing with Armstrong has been good and uneventful. read more

Summary: excellent job on recoating and partial foaming of an old roof. I have a ~20 year old foam roof installed by who-knows (before I bought the house), and was recoated 10 years ago by another company (long gone). I got three quotes for the job. One was a "drive by" who didn't respond to my request for a written estimate; the others were serious. The Armstrong assessor, Scot, was super-knowledgeable. Without prompting he told me things about the roof (eg that the foam had been applied originally without removing the original tar and gravel) which I knew to be true from earlier work I had done on the roof. He also pointed out things that were still good and didn't need any attention. However, the Armstrong bid was $2000 higher than the competitor. Upon closer inspection however (and I had to dig to find this out), I found that the scope of work of the competitor was much, much smaller than Armstrong's, and when I brought up the other items that were needed, their bid exceeded Armstrong's. So full marks to Armstrong for bidding for what I actually needed, and standing by their bid. The actual foam and recoat was done promptly (important, with rain coming soon) and exactly as agreed. The final job is of very high quality, much better than the last recoat. They evened out and refoamed in places where the last guy didn't do a good job, and "sculpted" the foam around vents and skylights and such to have the ideal shape, so that water drains away from the roof penetrations. The cleanup after the job was flawless. I'm very pleased with the final result. read more

The roof of my house was in need of re-foaming. It had been more than 10 years since I had the first foam roof installation performed by Armstrong. I had an estimate prepared by their Director of Sales - Wayne Leuchters. Wayne is great and no-nonsense. He told me what I needed and even took pictures of the repairs needed. I asked for pictures since I don't like climbing up to the roof. The work was outlined in the contract and performed as specified. I have no complaints or issues with their product or the company. I would recommend them should you need a foam roof. read more

Last year I decided to have my front windows replaced. A neighbour had used Armstrong and was very happy so when a sales guy came to the door I decided to go ahead. They were very professional, I was concerned as I'd just had my house painted but they did a great job. They completed the job in a day. I got a tax rebate for being energy efficient and I definitely notice a difference in the temperature of the house. I didn't need to use the heater much at all last winter. It's also quieter. I can also open the windows now which I couldn't before so I can get a nice breeze if needed. read more

I must say that we were skeptical at first but, Wayne, the sales rep, was a tremendous help as he not only provided us with great information but stayed with us through the entire process. We have had several estimates for window replacement and were very impressed with an offer from Armstrong Windows. The sales consultant introduced us to "Infinity Windows," which we found it to be perfect for our home. It took three months to complete the job due to delays and errors. The painters were not up to standards and we had problems communicating with the Foreman, however, Maria, head of the Sales Support Production Service was very pleasant to deal with... she made sure that our greviance was met and everything was done to our satisfaction. I must admit that Damian the carpenter, whom installed the Infinity Windows did a splendid job, he was very impressive and was very easy to deal with and did the job completely to our satisfaction. A Series of Disappointing Events: Ill preface this by saying the original spray foam roof they installed was done well and we have had no problems with it. All the leaks we experienced were brought about by slimy salespeople and disorganized/apathetic office staff. 1) When looking for a new roof, we told the salesperson that we were going to install solar at a later date. When we asked if we should have the solar mounts installed before they sprayed the roof, "Don't bother." he said "They just come out and seal the penetrations in a couple hours". (He failed to mention that it costs $3750 minimum) 2) When the solar project was about 2 months out, I called the office trying to see what we needed ready for them to come seal the roof penetrations. Office person said we don't even need an appointment, they just come out and spray real quick. 3) Solar equipment is here and I'm ready to install the mounts. I call the office. "Someone can come out Tuesday (in 4 days). I don't think they even need to estimate it since we know how many solar penetrations need to be sealed" 4) Rush all weekend laying out solar system and installing mounts 5) Tuesday I get a call from Wayne, the head installer who says "Do you have a contract with us? Usually you have to sign a contract before we come out and our installation teams are booked about a month out. Who told you we could be there Tuesday?" "One of the office people" I reply. "There is a huge storm coming and I only put holes in the roof because everyone said it would be quick to patch" I guess ill try to tarp it. Wayne sends me a contract to sign within a couple hours I have sent it back. 6) Over the next month, 3 storms with 50mph+ winds drop 8+ inches of rain... on our roof with 25 penetrations. Its windy enough that the 40 pavers I have holding down our tarp are being moved all around the roof, sometimes being lifted up and slamming back down. 7) A month passes with no word from Armstrong. I called Wayne directly, who must have called the office immediately because within an hour I finally got a call from the scheduler who told me they had a "cancellation" Monday (the next business day) and they would be out between 8-9am. (Read: Oh shit we forgot about them) 8) Monday: wait for installers until 830. No show. Come back home at 1030 to see if they've finished yet. No sign of the install team. Call Armstrong. "They're on the way!" they say. They are finished by 4pm when I am home again. 9) Check on roof a week later. Find 2 spots the installers missed with the sealant. I text Wayne to see what they use to seal the roof so I can patch it myself. Thank you Wayne for all the help mitigating this disaster, but what the fuck.... I made contact with numerous roofing contractors they all had remove and replace an extra $5000. With Armstrong, there was no remove and replace the job was done within two days. I have a flat roof and had my roof done 10 or 11 years ago and sadly, the roof had problems. It was asphalt/bitumen roof and the warranty had expired. I called the roofer and he gave me another estimate. I called another roofer and got another estimate and was told that due to my roof being flat, that I should sweep excess water off the roof to avoid this problem. I then talked to my neighbor and his roof is 20+ years old and he has had no problems. He has an Armstrong Foam roof. Armstrong Foam Roofing was my answer and they were highly professional explaining the process. My next door neighbor also has an Armstrong Foam roof about 15 years ago and no problems. I highly recommend Armstrong. The crew was very respectful and clean during the process and after process. We just had the worst storm of the season in 10+ years and not one problem with my roof. We had an Armstrong roof installed in 2002 and have had a virtually worry free roof ever since. We've had two service calls to check on some cometic areas and both times Armstrong completely made things right (even though one time they told me that there was no issue, but since I didn't like the looks of it, they re-did that area. We are putting on Solar and they offered a better deal to "patch the holes" that it will create and Wayne was courteous, prompt, great at communicating, returned my calls. well I have to say that as soon as I posted this review the General manager gave me a call and was not happy about the estimators actions and basicly broke his foot off in his lower area. The GM and I talked and he tried to make things right and apologized for the ordeal and sent out another estimator out and he was on time took pictures and measured the sq footage of the house. then the GM sent me 3 estimates the next day and also followed up to make sure I got all the information. I had to repair my roof after finding some roof damage while having my house painted. I called the roofers that had repaired my roof years ago and it was such a hassle dealing with them. I was so frustrated that I went online to do some research on other roof companies that do foam flat style roofs. Armstrong came up and had great feedback from past customers. I had a sales person come by and we chatted for a quite a while about my roof and what repairs i needed. It was a bit more expensive then other quotes but I felt very comfortable that my roof would be repaired correctly and quickly as I had the painting company on hold until the repairs where completed.
