From the very first message they were punctual, polite, and informative. Like many people we thought we could do all the moving on our own and then it came to the day before we were supposed to be out and everything felt so overwhelming. So in the midst of everything we were also trying to find movers. We greatly underestimated just how challenging of a move this was going to be a black swan genuinely saved us. Not just that, they were genuinely some of the kindest people I have ever met. Even though moving can be an extremely stressful experience, if we had hired them from the beginning it would've gone so much more smoothly. Even though we don't want to move again, it's likely to happen sooner rather than later and we will definitely be booking black Swan again.

There prices have gone way up since the last time I used them. They have a two hour minimum, $400 for two movers. Luckily, I scheduled right before they increased their rates for this time of year to $600 for two hours and two movers. They did end up sending three movers without any extra charge. They were are to schedule quick service on a weekday and were right on time.

Because they squeezed us at the end if their shift and their last job took longer than expected, they threw some free stuff like blankets and ratchet straps (I honestly don't know if that's how you spell it, lol). We also originally had only 2 movers but because of the circumstances they offered two additional movers for the same price. We contracted Mayflower Movers and they quoted us $10,000. Six days before our move, Mayflower called and said that the price was wrong and they were going to raise the price to $14,500. They thought that we wouldn't get someone else in a short period of time. On a chance, we called O'Neill Movers and they were awesome. Debra came and did our free estimate and Eddie Jr. Took over the job. They put our things into storage from St. Cloud, Fl. And delivered them to Texas two months later. They were always available, on time, professional and courteous. In the end the storage and moving were less than the estimate. A great job by a wonderful family business. We were blessed!

Eddie and company however were the exact opposite. They gave us a reasonable quote and assured us that would be the max it would be, and they lived up to it. They were very accommodating as our load kept changing as circumstances changed and they were very flexible with us to work out a date that worked for all parties. They handled the majority of the packing, all the loading and unloading plus transport. Everytime I had a question leading up to the moving day Eddie was always quick to respond and set my mind at ease. Once we find our new home in Florida these guys will be the first that I call.
