I would go ahead and give 6 stars if I could. I run a local service company in the Fort Worth area, I was able to observe these guys as they worked for 2 days on a jobsite last year. They were always courteous and careful. I was impressed with Mike the owner, and how he went above and beyond in regards to making sure the customer was satisfied and well taken care of. These guys impressed me enough that they have become the only company that I will refer my residential customers to when it comes to taking care of any window or glass concerns. This spring they addressed some glass issues in a custom door worth a few thousand dollars in one of my clients homes. My client had been told by a previous glass replacement company that the entire door would have to be replaced and that the glass was inaccessible. I called Armstrongs and they were able to diagnose how the door was designed and were able to replace the glass without damaging the door - they saved my client from having to replace a very expensive door. I can't express enough my gratitude to Armstrong's Glass & Mirror. I called 3 other glass companies to fix my daughter's window that was broken by hail. All 3 were unprofessional. Yet when I spoke with Cindy she was amazing and a joy to speak with. They came out quickly, measured, gave me a quote and ordered the glass. On the day of installation they were so professional even insuring they wore foot covers to not get dirt on the carpet. They also went above and beyond. The inside installer put the blinds and curtains (that I removed prior) back up without asking. And the outside installer picked up all the broken glass I had left outside on the ground because I didn't want to remove it if there was an insurance question. I had a vanity mirror replaced and took them awhile to finish it. They never called me to tell me it was done. I called them 3 weeks after I dropped it and it still wasn't done. When I did pick it up there was a very rude lady in there also. I pointed out to them that they had cracked the wood and the mirror was half way put in and needed to be glued in. Very poor job and very poor customer service. I do not recommend them. read more

I called Armstrong to come to my home to look at replacing a few windows with broken seal and a skylight replacement. I took off early to meet their sales rep/installer/whatever he was. We had just moved into the home 6 weeks prior. After he finally showed up, I explained I only wanted to replace the ones that were faulty, his interest level fell dramatically. He measured the ones I asked be quoted, never measured the sky light or inspected. He said he would email their proposal, which he didn't. I called after 3 or 4 days, he blamed the estimator, then finally sent it the day after. I honestly never planned on using them after the poor experience I had with the rep. I was going to make them price it since I took off early to have this waste of time. They never followed up to explain estimate or see if I understood it. I'm still in the market to replace windows if you know of a company that actually gives a crap. Do not use Armstrong unless you want substandard service. read more

I was searching in the area for repair of my home window screen and many places I went to couldn't help me or the help that was offered was just a complete replacement of my screen. We had these guys out to fix a window that my son broke. It was a really old window that a previous resident had caulked around every piece of glass. So replacing the window was very difficult. I am one of these people who like to "oversee" everything, which frustrates some people, but not these guys. He had to scrape the caulk off and it took a very long time. He did it with a smile and he never once acted put out by me being there standing over him. As a matter of fact, we had a great conversation and I felt like I made a friend. These guys never tried to sell me anything and they didn't charge me extra for the window, even though he had to go far beyond the usual call of duty to fix it. Although they did good work, I was disappointed at the customer service. After the job was complete, I asked if there was any discounts available to use for our job. They guy who completed the job promptly said in a rude manner "Why would there be a discount?" I answered that I always ask businesses if they offer discounts or coupons to help save money. We asked if we could use a credit card and he said there was a 3% charge and that this was considered a discount if we used another method of payment since there was no charge with another method of payment. I would not recommend them just based on how they treat their customers. Save yourself and go with another company that values customer service. Will not use them again. read more

They are very busy and hard to get a hold of, but to me that is a sign that they must be good to be in such high demand, and they were. I was very pleased overall with product and service. I called this company to give me an estimate on shower glass and windows. It took multiple calls to set it up but they finally showed up. Once I recieved the estimate I told them that I would like to have them do the work and they told me they would have to order the glass. It was suppose to take 7-10 days. Two weeks later I called them to check on the status and they had forgot to place my order. No calls from them. They then said they could have it in in 5-7 days. It has now been 11 days since I spoke with them and I tried calling again today. I got a hold of the owner and he said he would call me right back. It was 9:15am, it is now 6:00 and no call and I even left a message for them a few hours ago. Obviously this company has more business than they can handle so I would suggest going somewhere else for your glass needs read more
