I had the absolute worst tattoo experience here. Last tuesday, two of my friends and I came here to get three small identical tattoos of three wave lines, each. I paid $100 for a three SMALL wave lines (each of us had one of the lines bolder than the rest), even though the shop minimum is $50, and the "artist" sat in the amateur chair. The owner charged us and asked us to tip the guy BEFORE he even sat us. My friend who went first said the dude's hands were shaking before he even picked up the gun. I went over the design with him MULTIPLE times (I had drawn out the concept we wanted specifically to eliminate confusion) and had him reprint the lines over and over to make sure he understood what we wanted. I had to adjust the lines he pulled off the internet several times, to the point where my friends were getting uncomfortable at the dialogue between him and I, and started cracking jokes because the "ARTIST" wasn't getting it. I explained we wanted the waves slanted and thin, almost like cursive writing, and not tall and fat (like most of mine ended up) explained that he needed to leave adequate room between the lines (especially on the middle one. mine.) since one of the lines was going to be bolder than the other two. Despite ALL of that, NONE of the lines are even, NONE of the lines are even close to identical, on ANY of our wrists, and he kept going bolder and DEEPER into my wrist to fix his mistakes, which RUINED the concept of the MINIMALIST design. The friend who went first ended up with a different thickness on her lines than the rest of us, and when she asked him to make her lines slightly bolder to match ours when he was done with the final girl, he complained about having to open another needle, and then proceeded to DIG into the friend he was tattooing out of frustration. The owner kept checking in on him and looked nervous the entire time, watching him. She made a comment when he was on the final friend, saying "third time's the charm, huh?" to which he responded with a sigh and "let's hope so." What an absolutely miserable experience. My skin is swollen and lacerated. The ink is bleeding, the lines are touching where they shouldn't be, and nowhere close to being even. My wrist was freaking carved into. All three of us are already looking for a cover up. What a joke. The owner commented on my google review asking for "the opportunity to rectify my displeasure." This tattoo isn't salvageable. None of their "artists" will ever touch me again. I should send them the medical bill I'm going to have to pay to have my wrist looked at. read more

Well, I've been waiting months for this! Ugh! So many other things get in the way when you plan on getting a tattoo. I came in one day about a month or two ago with my dad(we are African American) , there was two employees working. I walked in no one spoke to us. Ten minutes go by the first employee was done with a customers tattoo just chatting. Sit there for another ten minutes waiting. A group of white girls come in they are spoken too and asked what they need and someone will be with them in a few minutes. At this point I am infuriated and just decide to leave. This place is kinda shady but over the years it has cleaned up for the most part. Its a small outdated joint with some good artisit that really don't recieve the good credit that they deserve being at this shop. The parking lot is small but its hardly ever full, I've had two tats here and they have both been walk-ins. The inside reeks of smoke and the seating areas are gross looking. Most of the furishings look like hand-me-downs with holes and stains. The prices are fair for the most part. If you do opt for a walk-in be prepared to wait...the first time I went the lady said she was finishing up and being young and dumb I waited almsot an hour for my first tat. I'd recommend an appointment. They have a pretty large selection of tattoos available that are pre-designed. They also do custom works as well and are quite good good at it. The people who work here are very nice and not intimidating, for the most part honest. Overall, I would recommend this place for someone getitng a quick and noncomplicated tattoo. I probably won't be coming back because I don't get tats too often. However, if I do I'll probably go somewhere else because this place looks dirty and I don't think I can stand the moldy smell here anymore. read more

Both me and my sister worked with Spider. He was amazing! She walked in with a little idea of what she wanted and ended up getting stacked puzzle pieces spelling out HOPE for Autism. He talked the whole time to make you comfortable and constantly asked if she needed a break. I wasn't planning on getting a tattoo but after my sister's visit I came in a few days later and got a butterfly with the PTSD ribbon as the middle on my shoulder blade. Please don't go to this place if you want good quality art done on your body. If I could do no stars I would cause the customer service was shit and the tattoos that came from various of the artist there. My cousin and I went there for Friday the 13th for $13 tattoos and I left more than disappointed with what was on my body and what was on my cousin (that was my cousins first). I get that the quality of a $13 tattoo is not going to be that good but my god learn some straight even line work please. My artist who I don't even know the name of was a total dick and didn't even talk to me taking not even five minutes on my tattoo. I got a finger and let me tell you... it doesn't look like no damn finger. My friend was also there and hers was horrifying and to see the lines overlap and connect was horrendous. The fact this shop has artist with years experience but not show that in their work is shitty and it's a shame they are okay with letting people walk out with that on their bodies. My "Artist" didn't even wrap my tat up and looked at me like I was stupid waiting for him to do so for sanitary purposes of a fresh tat! I have other wonderful tattoos so I know aftercare but every artist is different and should voice their suggestions of how to care for fresh ink! I originally was not going to write a review about my experience, but the more time that goes by I get very upset and angry with my results of my tattoo. I got tattooed by "Spider" about a year ago and the linework is horrendous, there are places all throughout my tattoo that looks like a three year old could do it, there were words already bleeding the second I got finished with my tattoo, and there are some branches of my tree that are obviously a whole lot darker than the other ones. I got a little bad vibe as soon as a met the guy, and it is partly my fault for not backing out immediately. He should honestly be fired. I now have to spend more money and plan out a cover up for this tattoo. read more
