I booked a tattoo with Monty for Saturday. I already had the design of what I wanted and gave it to them. When I got to Anarvin a few minutes early on Saturday he was pretty much ready to go! We called ahead to see what their protocol was since all this craziness and they said they had available time. We were greeted by a super nice lady, she was pumped for the tattoo idea and we emailed what the photos over. It took longer for my mom to have them switch the font and the sizes around than it did for the actual tattoo. I was so pleased that Jerry took the time to say look, this is how it would look best from an artistic point of view. He didn't just slap a tattoo on and call it a day. It was only $50 and of course my mom added a tip. I highly recommend them! There are several other great artists in the shop as well.

I believe all the choices start with titanium. Everything was explained so well. The waiting room is lovely with coffees and waters. Then you go back into a private room where you can sit or lay on the bed. Since getting her ear pierced, my kiddo has told everyone they should get a "needle piercing" (instead of the gun) at Luna Estelle. She swears it's "so much better" than anywhere else. She's pleased as punch with her earring and has been showing it off and admiring the mirror and taking selfies galore since getting it done. She was in a wedding and shared her piercing story to everyone who'd listen. "It's like 10 seconds of pain. I cried. But then I saw my ear! It's so worth it! Look at my beautiful ear!!" (On repeat. After trying to figure out the correct location, I found another address associated with the business, but there was no evidence of a tattoo studio there either. I immediately communicated that I may be running a little late due to being sent to the wrong location and trying to find the correct address. I attempted to contact the artist multiple times by text message, through the booking website, and by phone call. None of my messages or calls were answered for about two hours. When I finally received a response, I was told that my deposit would not be refunded, but I could supposedly reschedule. However, when I asked about rescheduling and politely requested my deposit back given the circumstances, I was completely ignored again. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this tattoo shop. Poor communication, inaccurate location information, and taking a customer's deposit under these circumstances felt extremely dishonest. Please proceed with caution.

I came in with some art I found on Pinterest, but thought it would be nice to give her some creative freedom too. She came up with a small ghost for my wrist -- and I loved it instantly. Over the past week, I've gotten so many compliments on it. Turns out that I love it wayyyy more than my initial line wraparound! She made the process so smooth, gave great aftercare advice, and was just such a vibe the whole time. Huge shoutout to her, she does amazing work! I also want to shout out the rest of the crew I met during my session: Canada, Flaco, and Sam. They were so kind and welcoming. We vibed over books, life struggles, and everything in between.
