He asked me to send him some pictures I liked and detail what it was that I liked about them. I showed up for my appointment and Mike had four designs for me to choose from. I liked them all and made my decision. I chose a fairly large phoenix for my upper arm. Mike worked on it for about an hour and a half. The outline and background are done but I had to schedule the coloring of it for another time. Mike did an excellent job and gave very clear aftercare instructions. I love it and can't wait to see it colored. It's truly art. I'll add a picture to this review after it's colored in. I have several more tats that I want and I will definitely be back to American Classic Tattoo to get them.

We called ahead to see what their protocol was since all this craziness and they said they had available time. We were greeted by a super nice lady, she was pumped for the tattoo idea and we emailed what the photos over. It took longer for my mom to have them switch the font and the sizes around than it did for the actual tattoo. I was so pleased that Jerry took the time to say look, this is how it would look best from an artistic point of view. He didn't just slap a tattoo on and call it a day. The young lady working at the counter helped us choose the perfect earrings. She went back and we got one ear done. The piercer was absolutely patient and calm and just so wonderful with her. (We took soooo much time and there was a line after us.) Beforehand, she made sure that SHE wanted to get it done. I just loved that my daughter had complete control of her body from the choices of choosing the jewelry, to getting pierced, to making sure the placement was correct - and she felt that bodily autonomy and empowerment bc of the ladies helping, I think! We had to take a break between piercings and they were just so accommodating and tuned in to whatever my kiddo needed. I so appreciated it!! The cost varies depending on the jewelry piece chosen. I believe all the choices start with titanium. Everything was explained so well. The waiting room is lovely with coffees and waters. Then you go back into a private room where you can sit or lay on the bed. Since getting her ear pierced, my kiddo has told everyone they should get a "needle piercing" (instead of the gun) at Luna Estelle. She swears it's "so much better" than anywhere else. She's pleased as punch with her earring and has been showing it off and admiring the mirror and taking selfies galore since getting it done. She was in a wedding and shared her piercing story to everyone who'd listen. "It's like 10 seconds of pain. I cried. But then I saw my ear! It's so worth it! Look at my beautiful ear!!" (On repeat.
