Honestly such a great experience. I had Jerry do a tattoo for me YEARS ago. On a whim we stopped by and my mom wanted to get something small. We called ahead to see what their protocol was since all this craziness and they said they had available time. We were greeted by a super nice lady, she was pumped for the tattoo idea and we emailed what the photos over. It took longer for my mom to have them switch the font and the sizes around than it did for the actual tattoo. I was so pleased that Jerry took the time to say look, this is how it would look best from an artistic point of view. He didn't just slap a tattoo on and call it a day. It was only $50 and of course my mom added a tip. I highly recommend them! There are several other great artists in the shop as well. read more

I have never had a more accommodating, kind, and comforting tattoo experience than I had at Toucan Tattoo. I walked in hoping for a small scar-coverage tattoo without an appointment, and my artist accommodated me even though walk-ins were typically accepted on weekends. I am very particular about my tattoos being exactly a particular way and this was the first time that I've ever felt fully heard by my tattoo artist. I was literally making teensy-tiny adjustments for 10 full minutes and not once did he make me feel pressured to accept it without being 100% pleased with it. This image speaks for itself, I can't find one imperfection. Additionally, having an artist take such care to make sure I got EXACTLY what I wanted on such a sensitive area made the experience just as special as the tattoo. Thank you so much! I stopped in on the fly heading home just to see if they happened to have a quick moment. Abby greeted me eagerly said she could squeeze me in before her next client. Not only did she do a wonderful job on my semicolon dandelion tattoo but her and Jerry also took the time to chat with my 14 year old who is aspiring to be a tattoo artist. They kept it real and gave him real life information and tips on what he needs to do if he is serious. He really appreciated the opportunity to go and sit and with some real professionals. Everyone was super friendly, professional, and helpful. I would definitely recommend them and will definitely go back to Abby in a heartbeat to get some more art work done in the future! read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had getting a tattoo. My friend and I were a walk-in on Saturday. There were two older men there who said they'd get an artist for us. We wanted simple designs, nothing crazy. They called in a younger man who ended up being extremely rude and disrespectful. He made rude comments about the work we wanted asking why we wanted the work we wanted and then criticizing our reasons for wanting them. At one point he asked my friend if she could get it on the opposite side so he didn't have to make a copy. After discussing the tattoo further, he asked her why she couldn't just get a keychain. When he questioned me about mine - he repeatedly asked why I wouldn't just get a realistic octopus. Towards the end he proceeded to say "girls like us don't need tattoos". Which seemed a bit late as I already had three. I highly recommend you find another location. The visit was miserable. Great atmosphere with a talented staff and decent prices. Definitely going to see Greg again if I get another tattoo anytime soon.
