My mom loved her hash browns, but was disappointed with the eggs Benedict, as we are used to fresh eggs from our neighbor and she said the eggs had a sour smell to them and tasted off. I wouldn't order this again, because the french toast could definitely be made better at home. My husband's meal, on the contrary, I wish I'd ordered. The Colorado Omelette was fantastic. Egg cooked thin, stuffed with ham and mushrooms, and topped with a good slice of cheese. Wisconsin definitely does their dairy right. The cheese and butter on the toast were fantastic. My husband had a chicken chimichanga that he really liked. We had to have margaritas too, of course. Lime on the rocks with salt and the perfect lime slice. We both thought the margs were great. What could be better than a margarita and huevos con chorizo for a quick lunch stop? How about the service and attention from the staff?! They did excellent. We had 4 different people tag teaming the service and all were super friendly and attentive. There was always at least one server either making the rounds or at least overseeing the dining area to observe and identify anyone that may have needed something. I wish we lived closer! The amount didn't bother me, in fact I always tip more than that! it's that no one told me it was there! I'm sure it's on the menu, but the writing is so small on their menus that I really couldn't read the meal description, much less the add tips message that might have been on there somewhere! But either way, I do think the staff should share this information when you get the bill. I've read other Yelpers that didn't see this and unknowingly added an extra 20%. Second, it's very loud in this restaurant, at least at the bar where I ate. A number of large tables are located in the bar area and with the wood floor and high ceilings it amplifying the normal discussions. it was really hard to hear or understand the bartender. (It might be better in the actual dining room). Didn't feel like drinking tonight, so I had an iced tea. Have to say this is one of the few places that I know of that charges for tea refills! The meat was also overdone, lacking flavor and chewy. This meal should have been served with a spoon, not a fork! Please bring back the chef that made the meal in the picture on your website... that looked a lot better!! I came here on a recommendation from a local, but this was a major let down! Maybe a bad night? Maybe I made bad meal choices, because on the website menu everything looked very good. I did see a lot of people eating flatbread pizzas. That might be your best bet.
