Aroma Dental's legit. Val at the front's really nice and Dr. Logan's cool, explains everything and doesn't rush. Solid place.

If I could give 0 stars i would! First made an appointment for a routine cleaning, I get there and…read moreI am told the dental hygienist wasn't even there. The Dentist then proceeds to look at my teeth and tells me i need to reschedule because she "doesn't do dental cleanings". So I do reschedule and that was all fine. I then go to book my next cleaning about 6 months later, the same thing yet again, they tell me the dental hygienist wasn't there and that they didn't even put me down for a cleaning... That was the last straw and took my business elsewhere just for 2 years later to receive a bill from them (Lake Houston) for x rays they never submitted to insurance and now have created a past due account on my credit. They are slow, badly run, and simply incompetent. Bad business, do not get your teeth checked, cleaned or merely step in vicinity of the area just trash!

I show up to my appointment for them to tell me they tried to call me and left me a voicemail last week to reschedule since no doctors were available today. I went through my phone to verify that I never received a phone call or voicemail from them. I was supposed to have a simple cleaning and was told that I would have to see a doctor to run x-rays first since I am a new patient so I cannot be seen for a cleaning today. I've never had to schedule 2 appointments to have a teeth cleaning. I traded my work day so I could attend this appointment. This was the office my insurance provider recommended but I will be driving further for a dentist.

Even more concerning was the lack of acknowledgment and accountability from Dr. Loren when things went wrong. That level of care is unacceptable. You should be able to trust your dental professional--especially with something as important as your smile. If you're like me and rely on coworkers' recommendations for where to go--and where not to go--consider this one of them. I won't be going here.

I'm writing this review to advocate for another patient whose experience with this dental office…read moreraises serious concerns about both quality of care and accountability. What should have been a routine teeth cleaning quickly escalated into a series of preventable issues. During a standard visit on April 2nd, the hygienist chipped the patient's front tooth (#8) while flossing--despite being informed ahead of time about existing resin work on both front teeth. This alone reflects a lack of appropriate care and attention. The patient was then required to return the very next day (April 3rd) for a repair--and was charged for it. Just three weeks later, on April 28th, the same repair failed completely, requiring yet another visit. At this point, the situation had already become frustrating, but it worsened significantly during the follow-up. While repairing tooth #8 again, Dr. Loren chipped the adjacent front tooth (#9) and did not acknowledge it. The patient only discovered the damage by requesting a mirror and had to point it out themselves. Even more concerning was the initial response--denying responsibility and suggesting the damage existed prior to the visit. Only after being confronted was the issue addressed. This pattern--causing damage, charging for corrections, and failing to take accountability--undermines patient trust and raises red flags about clinical standards and professionalism. Dental care requires precision, transparency, and responsibility, especially when dealing with highly visible areas like front teeth. Patients deserve providers who stand behind their work and communicate honestly when something goes wrong. Based on this experience, that standard was not met here.
