No follow up visits. 5 months later when I finished my last tray, I told Dr B my concern for the right side of my teeth hitting into each other, which was uncomfortable *see photo. His solution was to get my lower implant (which he was confident he could do) and shave down the other tooth... I mentioned a few years ago I was told I needed a bone graft for the lower implant, he said it wasn't needed. I did not proceed with any further work. 6 months later my bite was so uncomfortable that I went to an orthodontist for another opinion. He said they could have carried over my aligner treatment but it was too late. I had no idea I could've switched providers during treatment. The orthodontist said I could do aligners again but I opted for braces to ensure my bite was fixed, $5,480. This was only $880 more than the round of Spark aligners AND with 6 week visits! Under the care of an Orthodontist my bite is fixed and they created a small amount of extra space to allow for my dental implant. My dental implant was done under an oral surgeon because I did need a bone graft because the width of my jaw bone had atrophied over the years. If I completed this without the graft then the implant would've failed in a few short years.
