Navigating insurance and finding healthcare providers in a new city is beyond overwhelming so I took my time finding a dentist. I am so happy I found District Dental! Parking was easy. Check in was easy. Reminder system is great. I saw Dr. Thomas. She was amazing as was her hygienist and front desk staff. They printed out a full quote for everything that I need done that was easy to read and understand as well as gave me a referral to a trusted oral surgeon. I am excited to go back because I know that I'm in good hands!

Then the dental hygienist came in and informed me that based on his review of my X-rays I needed a deep clean to remove some buildup under my gums (which he specifically said is not a new problem) but he'd be willing to do a medium deep clean. The insurance specialist informed me it would cost over $300, out of pocket. To be clear, I go to the dentist every 6 months and have my entire life. I brush twice a day and floss daily. The dentist today had no concerns about my teeth after reviewing my X-rays. No dentist (or dental hygienist) has ever recommended a deep clean before. And I was told this is "not a new problem." I declined the medium deep cleaning, the hygienist refused to do a regular cleaning and I left. The whole experience felt very scammy. And I still need to get my teeth cleaned.

This unfortunately led to needing the tooth to be removed, but he was able to guide me through the process and connect me with a wonderful oral surgeon. Throughout the process, it was evident that he was closely communicating with the offices of the various sub-specialists, coordinating my care, and probably spending time outside of his normal clinical hours to do so. Dr. Hassid has a very calm, patient bedside manner. He always takes the time to explain things, in clear, simple and easy-to-understand terms, and makes sure all my questions are answered. I can tell he really cares about his patients. His office staff are also all excellent - extremely courteous, accommodating, and professional. As an example, I had an appointment with him this morning. I received a phone call that one of the staff had called in sick, and my appointment would need to be rescheduled. However, very quickly, Dr. Hassid went ABOVE and BEYOND to accommodate me into his schedule today, so that I could still be seen. It definitely wasn't necessary but really showed the level of commitment Dr. Hassid and his team have toward their patients. I think I'll be a patient here for a very long time.

They were extremely thorough with my cleaning, and talked to me in-depth about the condition of my teeth based on various x-rays and photos: what I'm doing right, what I could improve upon, what I might be at risk for, and more. The dentist also talked me through what to look for when buying toothpaste and mouthwash, and provided scientific explanations for which products work best. The new patient/scheduling process is very smooth, as well. I simply filled out the new patient form online, got an email the next day from the office to schedule my appointment (which worked great for me, since I often can't take phone calls during the day), and was ready to go. Overall, I'm very impressed with the organization of the office and the kindness and consideration of each individual I interacted with! Definitely recommend.

Took my wife to a different dentist which after the initial visit 80 dollars let her know that the hardware she had was outdated and that several more temporary teeth had hairline cracks and soon to fall out ,teeth weren't porcelain,estimate that was given to remove temps and replace with new permanent porcelain teeth with the newest hardware plus other facial cosmetic that clear choice didn't even address when they removed the original teeth. 13000 +. So don't look away run away or spend your hard earned money for their tv commercials and their uptown offices ,because you surely not paying for grade A teeth. Only good thing I can say about clear choice is the receptionist and assistants are very polite and professional. If I could have given a 0 star rating I would have.

Our son has had a tooth abscess before and it moved to under his eye, which could be deadly if the drainage went to his brain. Husband was rightfully paranoid and just wanted to know if it needed to be taken care of ASAP or would he be okay until he gets back to DFW. Long story short. Dr Huynh gave him pain meds and antibiotics. Told him he needed the tooth out soon or retreat of root canal, but nothing immediate. This office is interested in helping reluctant dental patients (*ahem, me*) feel comfortable and in control of their dental journey. Not an easy thing to do, but definitely can be done as evidenced by Dental Tree of the Heights investing the time to pulse check how the patient feels about dentistry in general. It turns out I needed quite a bit of work done on a variety of teeths in the molar quadrant of both sides of my lower mouth. Currently I am about halfway through this journey, but I can assure the dear reader that your humble narrator is feeling quite at ease with the treatment being provided to poor tooth 19. The staff are nice and knowledgeable, the office has a calming atmosphere, and that Netflix yo... When I was reclined back in my chair and handed the remote control, thus giving me the awesome responsibility of choosing a flick to take in while my mouth got drilled, I took the task seriously. They're located off the Katy Freeway near IKEA, on the south side between Wirt and Antoine. The office shares a parking lot with Memorial Tacos, a dry cleaner, and some boutique shops. The parking lot is spacious, so parking is never an issue. Inside, everything is spotless and modern. The front desk staff are always kind, competent, and welcoming. Their hygienists are amazing -- especially Shauna, who is both personable and incredibly skilled. And both Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen are outstanding. They're highly competent, never push unnecessary services, and take the time to explain everything clearly. I've been coming here for years, and they've redone a few old fillings from decades ago with excellent results. I always leave feeling confident in their work -- and with a nice little goody bag! The advice they've given me over the years has actually worked, and my dental health is better because of it.
