Stumbled upon this place while on a trip in Oakville. I'm not a usual Starbucks person, and would much rather support smaller. I'd give it 5 stars for coffee and 2.5/3 for food. The latte I got (hazelnut with a shot of espresso) was delicious. I would go back again and have that on repeat. It was light and flavorful and nothing overpowered, and the little chocolate to go with it was a special treat. My breakfast order however was completely wrong. I ordered the power breakfast, because it had so many wonderful things on it, but that was not what I received. It was missing the avocado spread, olives and cream cheese. When I asked the girl at the counter about it, she said it wasn't how that came. I even showed her the menu and my receipt but she still stuck with her statement. Ahhh... Aroma. Always a great selections of drinks (both hot and cold are excellent) and they get the details right. Never disappointing to have an ice chocolate beverage, for example. The chai latte is excellent. The coffees are super good. Their food is awesome too! It seems like it's so rare for a coffee place to have good food but they really deliver in terms of variety and quality. I like their sandwiches. A lot. The staff is always super nice. Love the service here. And the place is great to sit in. Outside in good weather, main floor if there's space, and the upstairs has ample seating! Combining a takeout beverage with a walk along the lake is always a good/relaxing time! read more

Staff is extremely rude. Coffee is very bland and bitter i couldn't even drink it. Over priced not worth the time or money to come in.

Absolutely OBSESSED with the Iced Hazelnut drink. For any hazelnut, Nutella, Ferraro Rocher lovers like me, give this a try!! This location in particular is very busy during the summer but the line moves quick. The sandwiches here are made on super crispy bread and all of the ingredients taste very fresh. Perfect for lunch! It's a small spot with limited seating. However there is more seating in the summer outdoors. read more

Used to be a regular customer until recently. Found portion sizes and pricing didn't hold the value it used to have.

Best coffee, food, and service. Their pastries are so buttery and flakey. Some serious baking is going on here.

We go to a lot of Starbucks and cafés and this one definitely has unique drinks, especially on the cold side. They've got an upstairs which is pretty nice, only downside is a couple times I've been here, they haven't cleaned the tables and we've had to clear them off ourselves. The biggest and really only major problem is their wifi. It is awful. You can't connect ever. Even if there's no one here. Which is a problem for us, because we bring our laptops. Today I tried the bone broth drink and it is extremely tasty. Worth a star, it's that good!! read more

We've been coming here since shortly after they opened. The drinks are great and the atmosphere is so inviting. We love sitting upstairs where it's usually a bit quieter. The baristas are all so friendly and obviously take pride in what they do. Love this place. Oh, and they even offer all day breakfast! read more

I love this spot! It is on a busy corner of downtown Oakville. The space isn't big despite there being two floors, so it is sometimes difficult to find seating. I have been to this location multiple times. Sometimes I stop in to get a London fog latte while I'm out shopping and other times I sit down for lunch. Aroma makes my favourite London fog latte. Something about it is a little different than other places make it. Keeps me coming back again and again. Love the grilled portobello sandwich! Very tasty. Love that sun dried tomato spread. The bread is so fresh! The sandwich is delicious and filling. The iced lemon mint is refreshing and really nice on a hot summer day. It came highly recommended by a staff member. Aroma is a busy place, but the staff members handle it like champs and never stop smiling. Great little spot in downtown Oakville. read more

This has to be the filthiest Cafe I have ever visited. Appalling customer service, attention to detail, and care for repeat customers. The place was so dirty that we stepped on food and paper at least 3 times while trying to get to a table, which was also filthy. The staff simply walked past the dirt and don't care to clean the floor or tables. No quality control or cleanliness, and will certainly not be going here again. read more

I want to give this place a 2.5 because the bathrooms are almost never clean and the service can be excruciatingly slow, but I really like the alfajores and the 2nd floor seating. If I was a rich twenty something I would be here all the time. Having said that, the place was full of seniors having brunch today. Their hot drinks are served with a complimentary chocolate. The white hot chocolate is pretty good. This location is poorly managed but other locations are pretty good. read more

Was in Oakville for a spring break trip at the end of March, and my friend and I came to this coffee shop three different times on our trip. This espresso bar has delicious coffee as well as a really great vibe. We especially liked the upstairs area which has a nice view of the downtown area and comfortable seating. Also, they have complimentary ice water and cups on the counter, which is a super nice touch. I had several different items while there, and I would recommend their lattes! Filthy dirty Cafe. Used to go there with my friend last year and it has changed. It used be a good place with good portions of food. I will never go back. Last week I was there and it was so dirty, my pants got dirty from sitting on the seat. The floor looked like it had not been swept in days maybe weeks. Terrible service. They messed up several orders leaving many people waiting around aimlessly. I am surprised that the owner or manager has yet to notice the dirt that is accumulated over time. I had a cold coffee and they were so kind to reproduce a timmys ice cap with a smile and were so cheerful and kind. Located on the main strip of old Oakville and had the option to sit outside and watched the pedestrian and traffic as I enjoyed my ice cap definitely be my drop in a spill when in the area again. read more

I have been going here since it opened and unfortunately had a recent terrible experience. I ordered something very simple off the menu. It took a ridiculous amount of time to prepare. The staff that was making the drinks had to ask if the cook had even started preparing as he sees me standing their waiting for a lengthy period of time. At this point the grilled cheese was still not done. After several more minutes and no indication that the order was even started I said I couldn't wait. They let me walk out without offering a rebate. Customer service appears to have gone down hill. I won't be retuning. read more
