Pros: + Nice vibe, adequate seating. Cons: - Slow/subpar service. - Drinks and baked items are excessively sweet. - Above average price.

I pay $6 dll for get this. Is a more bad place I eat a Cesar salad

I have been a coffee aroma consumer for approximately two years, consuming around $50 a day with excellent service until today, July 2, 2024, I had an unpleasant situation in one of their branches, 562 Bay St, Toronto. One of his employees (Alvin) with Asian origins, a cook from that branch, came directly to the desk to raise his voice at me and tell me why I took a straw and didn't ask before taking it, raising his voice at me. Today I was completely disappointed and I only went to give my report and just as today they are losing a consumer, I will be in charge of disseminating this act that was a sign of respect for me as a consumer.

    Kale and avocado power salad

I enjoy the Aroma cafés at multiple locations in Toronto but mainly go there for the caffeinated beverages. They have introduced a lineup of breakfast and lunch dishes as well which I have tried. I do like the deserts and selection of menu items, but there are hits and misses. The breakfast pastries are quite nice and seem to be made fresh in the day, in addition to the soups. I'm not a huge fan of the sandwiches or the salads really. Pictured here is the Kale and Avocado power salad, and as you can see it is quite large, and comes with a lemon dressing and tahini. Although this is a salad that does not necessarily mean that it's healthy. This comes in at more than 700 cal! Furthermore when they're using the chicken like this I have found out it is very bland and often quite dried out. I am someone that is used to much more flavour and even heat and I find that many of the menu options here are lacking in both. Overall, I enjoy the beverages, pastries and even desserts here, but I tend to stay away from the rest.

Nice, bright, modern place but this particular location is not one I'll be returning to. The food and drinks are just as good as other locations you'll find in the city, but the service is very slow, and it took them 20+ minutes for them to make me two egg, cheese and turkey bacon croissant sandwiches. I've been to other Aroma locations and it's never taken me this long to receive my order. Drink orders seem to be prioritized here over food orders. Skip this location and choose another, you aren't missing out on anything.

Great chai latte, warm and welcoming decor, friendly staff. Lots of tourists at the Queens Quay location, so you'll find friendly strangers here.

This place has really gone down hill, as have most Aroma's in the city imo. The furniture is all falling apart, including the tables and chairs. The food though is the worst part. I ordered the power breakfast, and the eggs were cold (even though it took a while to make...) and the menu says it comes with "avocado", when it just comes with a "scoop" of brownish green mush! Honestly so disgusting. My partner got the ancient grain salad and it wasn't bad and actually did come with fresh avocado so not sure if they had just run out or what happened, but the mush they gave me really should have not been served to anyone. Will not be going back.

Great location by Bay & Dundas, easily accessible by public transit. They've got fairly good drink selections and I personally recommend Ice Aroma and Matcha Latte. Food menu - it was alright for me, haven't found one to rave about yet. Wifi is available and they have booth, regular chair and high tops but sometimes it's hard to find seats / clean tables. Overall, this location serves as a great spot to study or meet with friends and spend time!

We were staying at Marriott across the street and looking for a quick breakfast. This place was great. A good cup of latte and Fig and goat cheese croissant was perfect for breakfast.

For lunch, I ordered a combo portobello sandwich and red lentil soup. Soup was tasty with lots of veggies and lentils. Sandwich was quite good too, with extremely fresh soft brown bread, feta, and alfalfa sprouts! The total came to a reasonable $10 dollars including tax (without a drink). Aroma Espresso Bar has a very modern--if stark--vibe with patrons that look like mostly student-types with a slight corporate bent (probably from the Ryerson management school across the street). The space is clean with lots of seating. The menu is expected café fare: they serve coffee, espresso, smoothies, breakfast, sandwiches, soup, and salad. Also, they have gluten-free bread for sandwiches which is always a plus. Staff was friendly and helpful when ordering. Overall, a pleasant healthy option for lunch. Do go!

This just opened. Haven't taken a bite. Where's the rest of it for $10??

I just spent $10 on lentil soup with one toast and it's not even full. By a lot. Terrible value. Who is quality managing this place? Photo included.

Came into this coffee place because the name aroma just pops. Situated in the food court it looked very busy and crowded. The seating areas were messy and the tables weren't wiped down. If I were the owner I would have someone look at the seating areas to ensure they're clean and condiments are fully stocked. The smell of this place was like a symphony with notes of a good roast and sweet delights. I ordered the "aroma" latte which consists of white mocha, espresso, mocha and a hint of vanilla. The taste of the espresso had a light fruity flavor with a smooth and rich taste of acidity. I give the barista an A+. If it's not for their delicious roast I would come back when the place cleans after itself.

Where you order and where you pick up your drink isn't designed to allow for a good flow for customers, aside from that, I have no complaints. I ordered a latte and grabbed two goodies for the road, a raspberry croissant and a ginger molasses cookie. The staff working were welcoming and friendly and my items were ready rather quickly. Once I got back to my hotel, I settled in to enjoy and get some work done. My latte was smooth and creamy and just what I needed to get my day started. My raspberry croissant was beautiful and packed full of flavor. The filling wasn't too sweet and there was just the right amount inside. I saved my cookie for a snack while I traveled home later that day. I love how it had chunks of sugared ginger on top. The cookie had the perfect amount of chew to it and the ginger on top added an extra burst of ginger. It was lovely. I'm so glad I found this cafe on Yelp and I highly suggest you pay them a visit. I'm still dreaming of all the pastries I didn't get to try.

The line moved quick, even though it wrapped around, we waited for about 20 minutes only. The menu has some cool items, a few fusion dishes and trendy items. Awesome presentation and definitely Instagram worthy. I got the huevos rancheros, it was more like an egg burrito with beans, sauce and potatoes on top. The potatoes were probably my favourite out of everything. It was good but not the traditional you would expect. My friends sadly did not like their eggs benedict. The coffee was also average, not very strong or fragrant. Service was absolutely terrible. Our sever took so long to come, we see him just chatting in the corner. It was hard to flag him down for anything. It was not a nice experience. The menu does have some other cool items I do want to try (pancakes and french toast)... so maybe I will give it another shot if I am in the area one day.

Very friendly service (server was Crystal). Sat outside and still was attended to attentively - typically worried that patio seating gets less attention but that wasn't the case here. The menu excited me as brunch usually is a choice between sweet or savoury, but they have various options with both. Got the Indecisive with the eggs poached medium ( would recommend soft for future or sunny side up). The pistachio latte was yummy but with the matcha pancakes it became too sugary of a meal. Overall a casual yet put together vibe. Great for friends, dates, solo, or family. Washrooms not the cleanest, but the dining area was good. Did notice a few more birds than typical patios (tried to eat our scraps as we were waiting for the bill).
