Aroma massage was good but not perfect. There were a few things that brought down my rating from a 5 to a 2. First of all, I went to this spot because I was given a gift card. They keep track of their gift cards by hand in a little book. The girls checked and couldn't find the gift card, so I wasn't able to use it. Annoying. Next, they put my friend and I in the same room for the massage. Which is totally fine since we are close, but like, they didn't even ask us? This could have potentially been a really weird experience. I also should mention the room walls didn't go up to the ceiling. There was a small curtain covering the open space, but you could hear everything and I'm sure they could hear us. Sort of odd. Last, and most importantly, the main reason I would be hesitant to recommend this place to others, was after the massage. As we were walking out to leave (we paid at the beginning) they called my friend over to the side. I thought they were going to talk to her about her tight back they wouldn't stop talking about, but they ACTUALLY asked her to tip them more! Now I can see if my friend tipped nothing, but she is a great tipper thanks to her waitress background. I just thought that was crazy for them to ask for more money as we were walking out the door. I WILL say that the massage was very nice. I haven't had many massages, but it was very relaxing and a good amount of pressure. I also got hot stones which were very nice. At one point I swear my lady was standing on me, or at least on her knees. But I AM a massage rookie, so maybe this is a norm. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience, just be warned to tip to their liking or else you may get pulled aside. Also don't use a gift card. One of the worst massage experiences I have had. After 5 minutes the girl leaves for at least 5 minutes and then another girl comes in and starts again. This woman also left another 4-5 times during the session to either answer the phone or someone walking into the place. Lastly, she ended early. All told, I probably only got a 40-45 minute "massage". The woman had no idea what she was doing either. Just terrible all the way around. I only got a twenty minute massage, concluding because when I paid upfront, was also asked to pay the tip upfront, I have been to other massage parlors and I know for a fact that they never asked for a flat out TIP upfront. This massage was good and it felt great with great prices! But I had more issues than I had good. 10 minutes into my massage, the phone rang super loud, then my massage therapist left the room and sat and talked on the phone for a few minutes then came back. She kind of acted like "oh sorry." I thought maybe they were understaffed so oh well, then halfway through the massage for the other half of my massage, a dog -- IN THE OFFICE -- was barking super loud and incessantly. I asked her why a dog was barking and she said they had a dog and sometimes he's loud. I was pissed because she had not done anything to silence the dog. It was the most embarrassing 90 minute couples massage ever. As I, a husband lay on the table with a sheet over me until the masseuse took it off and cover my crouch with a towel. My wife on the next table in the same room is covered up to her neck. Her experience was humiliating and disrespectful. Not realizing until after we got in the car there was a major problem. And it didn't help that my wife's massage lady was very sexual and made her uncomfortable along with just a drying towel over my crouch. It's not couples friendly at all. Totally sexiest. I had an hour massage here. Here is what happened. *Got a appt right away (mistake) *Nice clean room *The massager starts- best way to describe is was someone rubbing their hands with oil all over your back and occasionally using their elbows. Nothing was relaxing about it. *In between the 15 when the hammer wasn't pounding away.. I could hear another client in the next room's full conversation as the walls as paper thin (btw it was his birthday and I'm sure he didn't get a good massage or relaxation cause that's why he went in) :/ *The lady had a space heater which made the room unbearably uncomfortable. *Worst part about the massage: They were doing construction so every 15 seconds (instead of relaxing I was counting the time) the jack hammer and hammer would go off. *When I got done.. They asked how it was I said fine and asked about the construction- to which they responded "yeaaa hahahaha"... Not really funny seeing that I'm here to relax and that's not letting me. I let it go. *The kicker was when I was paying... She said "how much do you want to tip her?" I cannot express how much I HATE that. So I said $5 (which was about 15%)... To which she responds and said "why not $10?" I explain "no $5 is fine" and we had about 45 seconds of awkward standoff as she thought I was going to think about it and change my mind!!!! Both the cashier and the lady that provided the massage were clearly not pleased. Ummm given that the massage sucked, construction in the next room, paper thin walls to where I can hear the other persons convo... $5 was MORE than enough!!! I would not recommend them. I was unsure whether to give this place 3 stars or 4 stars. I decided on 4 for the following reasons: 1. My provider knew what she was doing. She had a softer type of medium pressure but she was still very effective. 2. Near the conclusion of my session she incorporated a technique that most massage therapists use; however, she seems to have mastered it. 3. Their prices are outstanding! Why not give it 5 stars? 1. Though she was very good, my massage therapist wasn't 5 stars good. 2. The walls don't go all the way up to the ceiling, and they are not insulated. This place is totally gender prejudice. My husband and I get regular couples massages and I've never had this happen. I rarely look up or at him when we are getting couples massages. But when my girl had me turn over under the sheet as I'm turning I see my husband is totally butt naked. Then when he turns over literally only a small hand towel is covering only his genitals. They kept me totally covered. Literally from the neck down to the ankles and never uncovered my butt. Both women performing the massages were watching my naked husband while they literally kept me wrapped up like a mummy. She massaged his total ass with her forearms all the way in his butt crack and rubbed his in the front thighs right up to the edge of the towel that covered only his penis. My husband said that's they way they do it here. I said then we are never coming back because that is not how they massaged me! Also he was the first to go to this place by himself and I found out they talked him into a four hands massage. I didn't find out until today that they have the men or at least my man totally naked during the entire massage with the exception of a wash cloth on his penis when he turns over. It is sexist and disrespectful to the spouse because they are treating the men and women totally different. If a man is alone that is his choice but if you are getting a couples massage both people should be treated the same and given the same service. Never going back!!! The worst massage ever.... and that was just the beginning. After pulling a muscle in my back, I headed to Aroma in hopes of finding relief. Upon check in, I went to my room and waited as the massage therapist came in. The massage was mediocre at best. About 20 minutes in the lady started laughing at the size of my head. Dismissing her comments, she asked how tall I was. I responded 6 foot 4 inches and then she said, " The price now $15 more." After finishing my back and not rubbing the only area I asked to have massaged, (lower back) she moves to my legs and tickles my feet giggling. Who would do that in a relaxing environment? I'm pretty much done at this point and ready to leave. After dressing and heading out, the lady asks me for more money. "You give me more. " she says, "$15 more." No, I reply. She is unhappy and presses for more money a few more times before I leave the building. Never again. read more

Not the first time I have gotten a massage but tonight (past 8pm) was my first time at Aroma Massage Spa and the first time EVER a massage therapist pulled out my underwear. There was some back rubbing for a while until the rubbing became lighter and graduated to light touching on the right side of my back and legs that bordered into, in my opinion, an attempt to "excite" me. I objected to the light touching; she obliged. When she started working on my left side, the "light touching" resumed to which I immediately said "NO!" Therapist said "Sorry, I forgot." She asked me to flip over and started massaging my face but when she stuck her fingers inside my ears, I decided that was it. I left not even 30 minutes into the hourlong massage they charged me in advance for because I wasn't getting the massage I went there for to alleviate the pain caused by a frozen shoulder. My husband and I were looking for a couple's message and I called every other message place but they were booked so we decided to give them a try. As part of the message, the masseuse walks on your back for about 10 minutes. It was very deep, actually painful. She only stayed on one area. I did not enjoy that! Once she was done walking on my back, she attempted the regular deep tissue massage. Instead of massaging she was just grabbing and squeezing. She didn't attempt to really work the muscles. It was just just random. It seemed like they had no training. They didn't understand when we tried to tell them the ares where we wanted them to focus. Save your time and money. Stopped here last week for a massage and was disappointed. . Paid for a 90 min deep tissue and received only about 60 mins. My massage was interrupted over 4 times so she could greet/schedule other appointments this was very annoying because once she got into a good groove it was interrupted and had to start all over again! Was told that she would "give me more time" but didn't. The room I was in was separated with only a sheet so I could hear the couple's conversation in the next "room" over. . Not my idea of relaxation or privacy as I was asked to be completely nude. After my massage I didn't offer a tip because I was not pleased with this experience overall. The woman chased me down to my car TWICE yelling demanding a tip and was clapping her hands at me as if I'm a dog. I was in complete shock. Definitely do not recommend! This was my first time here and it was only because I was desperate and my neck was in pain. The staff was friendly enough, but did not communicate very well. The cost of a 30 minute massage was $35.00 to which I was charged $35.35 because she made a mistake when she ran my credit card and then had to run it again; not a big deal but why not just cancel the first transaction?? I highly doubt these are licensed massage therapists because it felt very amateur; very little pressure, sporadic movements, etc. And the massage was barely 20 minutes. I won't go back. read more

Hi there. I called to find out how much a foot & whole body msg was. My call was answered by a polite lady who mentioned $45 for a full body. Okay I said thanks & hung up. Called back again to see if they had any openings & yes they did. I was excited to also see that there was a $5 off coupon which would bring my total down to $40 instead of $45. But when I got there I was told, that wouldn't apply, only after I posted a review than I would be give a $5 coupon for my next visit. My issue was that was not mentioned on yelp. But okay that's fine. Massage was okay. Wasn't hard enough. Masseuse was nice but her massage was gentle like massaging a baby. Normally when I go to massage places they also seem to know which areas of my body needs extra work. Mostly my shoulders, neck & back. I would have given this place a 4 stars if the massage was harder & if they had honored the yelp $5 off. Otherwise the two young ladies are very nice. read more

Not sure about this place at all. I had a 2 hour massage and it was terrible. The therapist kept answering the phone during my massage and going to the door to greet customers during my massage. Then did not even add time back on to my massage to make it 2 hours. Then in the next room to me I am 99% sure the man was getting a "happy ending" if you know what I mean. Came here with my wife to relax for our anniversary. Massage was ok, but only 2 women were there and one kept running out every 3 minutes to answer the phone or help the walk in customers as she was massaging me. On the way there, we saw they have a $75 for $65 deal in yelp; and $5 dollars off if you check in. We bought the deal. Came in, told them about it, and they didn't know what we were talking about. We didn't want to screw up our day, and didn't have much time; so we paid again ($80 for 2; no $5 off for checking in). As we were leaving they promised to give our phone number to their manager, because he was out of town. (That was on 01/14). I called them about 5 times during business hours the next few weeks, and no one ever picked up. Called them again today (3/14, exactly 2 months later) and the lady picked up, she said she had no idea what I was talking about, and the manager is still out of town. And as I was trying to give her my phone # or my email, she just hung up on me. So a 1 hour massage for 2 people is costing me close to $200; at the place that costs $40/hour/person. Only reason they are getting 1 star is because there is no way to give them 0 stars. read more

Anna, the massage therapist and owner, was incredibly friendly, speaks english, and gave a relaxing massage at a consistent pressure. Aroma spa is clean, tidy, and has warm lighting. By the way, she uses quality massage oils and clean bed sheets. Unlike some places I've been to that recycled their sheets and used oils that made my skin itch later. You won't be disappointed!! This was my second time going. First time was great. This last time was not. I don't mind a medium pressure massage. But she massage my butt for at least 20 min not what I was use to. I had to ask her 3 times to not be so ruff that it hurt. A few hrs later my butt started to hurt and I woke up to it with huge bruseing all over it. I will not go back. I have been many times over the last 2 years. Very polite and friendly lady at the front. Takes cash or credit. I get the 70 and 90 minute massages. Rooms are clean with relaxing lighting and music. Prices are a great value compared to others in the area. Only downside is quite often there is only one lady there to massage and answer phone and if you want a deep tissue you have to specify how hard you want it.
