I came to this place for the first time back in October and loved it. However, my second visit made me decide to never go back again. First of all, they no longer do foot massages. They only offer full body massages at $45. There were 2 girls working at the time and one was on the phone the entire time I was getting the massage. The masseuse had to leave the room 3 times for whatever reason: Answering phones, greeting clients, which I could tolerate but SHE LEFT THE DOOR OPEN AND DID NOT COVER ME BEFORE SHE LEFT! She moved my underwear half way down my butt without asking me if I was comfortable with it. (Then she left the door open) She also was just rubbing lotion all over me instead of actually giving me a massage. Her focus seemed to be on my lower back and my butt since she kept going over that area and only rubbed my shoulder twice. I was on my stomach the entire time and actually hoping for it to end sooner. The massage itself was shorter than 50 minutes. I would not recommend this place to anyone. For $45 you can get a real massage without feeling exposed and violated at one of those chain spas. Oh they also charge you $2 for using a card. read more

Like many have commented...there was an ownership change with this business. It appears to have started out as a good business and then changed ownership and purpose. The sign still says Ya Ya Foot Spa on the building, but they are no longer wanting to do them and no longer want to honor gift certificates that were given under the old ownership. I had to be very firm in trying to get my gift certificate honored. My certificate was for a foot massage. I made my appointment for one and when I showed up it was an issue with the woman working. After me being firm about honoring my certificate and her telling me to wait, she called me back to the table in the open room. I did not receive and hour long foot massage. I received an almost an hour long of a whole lot of 'what was that?!?!?!" As seems to be an issue in lots of reviews, there were 2 women working and they were stopping and leaving 4-5 times to talk to walk ins. Hands were never washed in between. I felt uncomfortable with the men I could hear coming into the front lobby and asking questions that made me feel uneasy about the establishment. I left feeling nervous and thankful to be done. I just wanted an hour of foot massage bliss. Not a body massage, face rubbing, I don't know what you'd call it experience. I will not go back, would not recommend. read more

I was extremely disappointed. I asked for the foot and massage combo, and they said they had no one there that could do foot messages. Foot Spa is part of their name, don't understand and makes no sense to me. Regardless, I selected the 60-minute massage and was asked to pay in advance, no problem, but not a smart choice if they are expecting a tip. I gave her my credit card and she said if I didn't pay in cash she would charge my credit card and additional $2. Well in the state of California this is not legal, unless there are two separate price lists for cash or credit card. They did not have this, so I kindly informed her of this, she charged me anyhow and said "So Sorry". Still, with wanting to proceed I shrugged this off, $2 won't kill me. Then another customer walked in during my massage, for a massage and want to not wait, so I was asked to have my massage shortened by 30min, and gave me $10 back. Took my mom with me to get a massage while in the area. The couple that owns the place was nice enough to take us in as their last customers close to closing time. My mom loved the massage by the owner/husband so much she ended up tipping him as much as the massage which is ONLY $20! Personally, I didn't feel as comfortable I didn't see the wife wash her hands after she was being the receptionist in the front & her hands were FREEZING which is NOT what I want to feel on my face or my body! read more

On a spur of the moment idea, my girlfriend and I went to Ya Ya Foot Spa for the hour foot massage. When we got there we were greeted and brought to our tables. Started soaking our feet then worked our entire body. They took their time with every muscle. Our masseuses were very skilled at what they do! Also, the foot massage/reflexology was incredible. Once we left, we could not stop smiling at how good we felt. Hands down best massage and best price. They were very generous and gave a full body massage when we asked for just the foot massage. Humble and great service! My girlfriend and I will definitely be back to Ya Ya foot spa. read more

Massage was ok. 5/10 There was a mother & daughter who walked in after I did about 5 mins. Mother shouting daughters name Crissy Chrissy Chrissy. Please have some courtesy & respect for other guests. You are not at a fish market. I seriously dislike ignorant selfish ppl. Owners should also tell there guests to behave in a proper manner or have signs posted. I just got back from an amazing foot massage from Ya Ya Foot Spa! I can honestly say that I am impressed. It is an extremely clean facility with brand new crisp linens, soothing music and even flower petals in the foot soak. Super friendly staff as well. My foot masseuse went the extra mile and obviously knew what he was doing when it came to reflexology. I went in feeling stiff and tight and left feeling completely relaxed. Awesome rates and clean facility. It would help if guests in entry area were alerted that massages were taking place mere feet away, or post a sign. It didn't disrupt from the comfort of the massage... just distracting. Very friendly and thoughtful staff. Will return. read more

I went to have a FOOT massage at YaYa FOOT Spa and they was told no longer do FOOT massages. The receptionist did not speak or understand English so she had to use her phone App to translate. Another woman came out and said they are under new ownership and no longer do FOOT massages, you have to buy the whole body massage. Being pregnant I can't lie on my stomach and asked to have a chair massage instead. Neither understood what I was asking. How can you run a business if you can't understand your customers needs? I love this place! I usually come at least once a week since they opened and twice when I have time. Always have the $20 hour foot massage and recommend asking to raise the bed up to avoid lower back strain. Usually fall asleep during the foot part and always leave so relaxed. It seems to be husband and wife owners who don't speak much English but that has never taken away from the wonderful experience. I need to update my review since apparently the original owners have left. They raised the price and have you pay prior to your massage. Have been twice since January and each time was worse. I agree with the other recent reviews that the therapist stops and answers phones, speaks little to no English and rushes through massage. I won't be coming back. read more

Horrible, they make you upgrade to a combo by saying that's s they have available yet nobody is there in the foot massage chairs. Then they make you prepay and afterwards tell you to tip, if they don't think it's enough they get rude with you. Definitely won't be back. read more

This is my new favorite foot reflexology massage spot! They give a detailed & thorough massage- neck & back included. I didn't feel as though they rushed through it. It is much quieter & more relaxing than the high-traffic foot spas. A great hole-in-the-wall find! Such nice people there, very friendly & thoughtful. Went here tonight after a long relaxing weekend at Lake Tahoe. We have been to many foot spas in the area over the past few years and I can say this one by far is the best. I hope that it's not just the honeymoon period as they are brand new. Husband and I both had A very enjoyable massage. It almost felt longer than an hour. We will definitely go back. I don't regularly get massages, but I know a good massage when I feel one. I had an hour to kill with my dad so we stopped by this place not knowing what to expect. We walked in, were greeted by what looked to be a married couple and entered the massage room immediately. The facility is very beautiful. Not too small and not too large. I've been to massage parlors where there was barely any room on either side of you. I never had a foot massage before, but it seriously felt like a body massage because they worked on all parts of my body in addition to my feet. I never had to tell her to adjust pressure and she took her time to get out all the kinks in my body. It felt just right. My dad even fell asleep and started snoring, which I'm interpreting as "damn, that was a good massage." Anyways you should check them out . Plus at the end they give you a card that you can fill out for a free massage after 10 visits. It's too bad I don't live up here. My sister paid for a full hour massage for her and I to enjoy as my Birthday present and it ended up that they only gave us 45 minutes because they didn't have enough people and they said they were backed up when they finished with us at 11 am even though there was one person waiting in the lobby. We also didn't get the full body treatment we had received with my sister not even getting her front done and neither of us getting the hot stones that we had the pleasure of having twice before as part of the package. They didn't understand or speak English very well (or so they said) and made negotiating for anything futile except when it came to taking my sister's money. There was no recourse and they wouldn't get the owner on the phone to discuss the situation, though they took my number but after a week I still didn't receive a call back.
