I feel bad because I started out with one of those (silent service please) cards on the stool ((sorry Angella)) but as the service got started, she gave me tidbits of information on what she was doing and why. She also gave me a few pointers on what i can do at home or on my own time and with that, we just started talking and she walked me through alot of the process which i loved. She was incredibly knowledgeable, strategic, and every movement had a purpose. She definitely kicked my butt (which for 8 days out or surgery, it was to be expected) but it wasn't painful at all. She was able to get all the fluids moving in my body and it was very relieving. When the service was done and I stood up to change back into my clothes, I could notice a huge difference with a reduction of swelling. Even as I'm sitting at home, I expected to feel kind of crappy after because of all the toxins being pushed out but I feel great. I can not say enough good things about Angella. She started out with light touch, I asked for firm pressure and she changed to firm pressure. Did a lot of trigger point deep pressure which was sometimes painful but i needed that. Not sure how much of my hip she did but did a lot for my whole back. Didn't do any legs or arms but that's fine; didn't have any issues I can't address through stretching. The belly cutout table was very comfortable for my giant pregnant belly. I think I prefer it to side lying so the masseuse could really apply pressure where needed. Front desk is always polite and helpful. Decor of the lobby is aestheticallt pleasing and relaxing. There's decaf and caffeinated tea, hot water, cold water. Massage prices are typical of the area with lots of add on services available such as cupping, hot stones. Massage rooms have nice essential oil smells. The rooms are a tad smaller than other places but honestly don't need a huge space. Couple massage probably has their own designated spaces, if offered. Only thing I would change is the music... some songs on the Playlist were a bit too playful/ upbeat, which isn't as relaxing or soothing... better for studying or at a cafe or as background noise during chores. Overall a good experience and would come back for a postpartum massage and recommend for prenatal massage.

She was intuitive, thorough, and somehow found every single spot that needed attention. I walked out feeling lighter, looser, and honestly mad at myself for not booking a longer session. The only thing that caught me off guard was paying upfront, so I didn't tip initially, but they did bring the receipt back at the end and I was able to tip her then.
