I was with a small group, and we were led through a guided honey tasting by Emily, the owner and operator of Queen Bee Artisan Market. The market is actually a shop that's located down the street from where the honey tasting takes place. Our honey-tasting session lasted about one hour. During the hour, we smelled and tasted different honey varietals -- some paired with locally made cheese, some tasted by themselves. Emily told us about the unique characteristics and origins of each honey we sampled. It was like a wine tasting, but with honey! Emily has a little gift shop in the tasting room; if you're so inclined to purchase some honey to take home with you, you can. You can also visit the artisan market down the street to find more of Emily's goodies. I highly recommend the honey tasting, if you're visiting Lake Geneva with a group. It's such a unique and memorable experience, and not one that you can find many places.
