Made a family reservation to celebrate my mother's birthday and had a wonderful experience. From the minute you walk in everyone is so happy and friendly. They explained the process and how to pick up our scents in order to make candles, however you can pick to make wax etc. the packaging is really cute and you can also pick your lids or containers of where to place the wax/candle. Super fun Ladies Day activity! We went for a "Bachelorette" Day and had a wonderful time! We were approximately a group of 10 and they were able to accommodate us all on a corner of the "bar" and that was perfect. This activity consists of picking your scents out of many available on the wall and then pouring your candle from your chosen scent mixture. It was really fun & easy. (No mess) And affordable! They have drinks for purchase, including a specialty drink, that I believe was a cider / champagne drink since it was fall when we went. Highly recommend as a fun activity in the Lake Geneva area! We came here on a Friday night, as the first stop to kick off my bachelorette party weekend--and had the BEST time! The shop is set up bar style, and extremely interactive and fun! We sipped wine and went about the shop, smelling all the incredible scent options! With the help of the talented employees, you narrow your list of favorite scents down to 3, and boom! You have your signature scent, and can begin to custom blend it to your liking! From there you can create a candle, room spray or even a diffuser! And choose from a variety of candle holder options! They had just brought out their fall scents, so some of our group went for a fall theme for their candles, while others went for a fresh or floral approach. We stopped in the next day to pick up our creations (the candles require time to set) and each came with a box of matches, which was a very cute touch! A must try! Such a unique experience and extremely reasonably priced. The shop is large with a big candle making bar with barstool seating. You must make a reservation for an on-the-hour spot (maybe they take walk ins too?) at the bar. You get a little worksheet, they test some scents and write down which you like. You'll narrow it down to one or two favorites and then get mixing! You also get to choose if you want to make a candle, a diffuser oil or a melting wax - each reasonably priced. The process to make the best aroma combination is a little intimidating honestly, but you just go for it and see what happens. It's really quick and fun and a very unique experience. Once you're done, you'll leave the candle to set for 90 minutes, then you can pick it up to take home. One downfall (but this is the case for everything downtown) is the parking. There is a lot, but it's very small, so street parking is your best bet. Overall, I highly recommend giving this a try. It's great for all ages! read more

What a fun experience! If you are in Lake Geneva, make an appointment. Make sure you spend your time smelling all the fragrance options. Make your list, and then go back and double check your faves. The fragrances are interesting, way more options than I would expect. You can pick up to three, but I selected only two: Honeycrisp and Christmas Toddy for my final mixture. I sweetened up the holiday spice with the apple. The workers are kind, patient and fun. They will walk you through as slowly as you need. Also, there is a full drink menu, if you'd like. I made my candle, and then it's two hours to pick it up. I went shopping and took more than my allotted time. When I went back, my candle was wrapped in the cutest package. Fun time all around, find a $5 off coupon in many local hotels to make it a more affordable experience. I walked out with an hour spent plus my candle for just under $18. read more

Love love love this place! After I made my candle I still didn't wanna leave. When you walk through the door you feel like you've entered a peaceful oasis. The smells and warmth relax you immediately. I smelled every candle in the room. When I sat down to make my candle they were very busy but still spent a lot of time chatting with customers, explaining the candle making, and offering drinks and snacks. My niece and I went and we enjoyed making our way around the shelves with our little clipboards to record our favorite scents. Then we selected our candle jars and moved to assembly. Such a fun interactive experience. Start by choosing from 90 scents. Think rain, to earth, to old books ( for real), to ginger ale, to cashmere ( who knew that even had a scent?) to more traditional candle scents such as vanilla, eucalyptus or grapefruit. Write your favorite scents on your clip board and head to the back to chose your candle holder. Once you have done that, head to the counter where you pick your 2-3 favorite scents and combine them to create your very own candle. We ended up creating a candle with grapefruit, ginger ale and cashmere scents. Spend time mixing until you get the exact scent you desire. They will pour the wax in for you, you add your scent and stir for 2 minutes. Make a little label for the bottom of the candle and return in 90 minutes for your finished product. All this for 25$ ? What a fantastic little activity and you get a beautiful candle ( wrapped by them in a equally beautiful way). Candles last for 60 hours. 5 stars for sure! read more

This place is amazing! I am burning one of my candles now and the fragrance wafts through the whole house and it smells so great! We just stopped by and my daughter wanted to make a candle, why not? They have shelves and rows of all the different scents you can use. . You end up using just three though to mix together. They have buy 3 get one free on the smaller round candles so we got to make 2 each between the both us. My daughter had a blast and so did I! They have a menu of beverages, alcohol and wine .. so definitely come here for a girls night of laughs and candle making, or room sprays, car diffuser, and other goodies to make you and your home smell delightful! It takes about 45 minutes to make 2 candles and you have to come back in about 1.5 hours to pick up the finished product. Good times!! read more

My 2 teens, spouse and I needed something to do on a rainy afternoon. We each made our own scented candles which was a new experience. After smelling a whole wall of scents, we narrowed it down to 3 and then mixed the oils to get the desired scent which was added to the hot wax. It was a nice atmosphere but the reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the man who was assigned to help us was very abrupt and never gave us any suggestions or advice. After we were done, we noticed how other employees were collaborating with their customers and helping them choose scents that went together. We were on our own, but we are ok with our candles. This is a fun place to hang out with a friend if you are tired of browsing shops or great for a date night. They sell a ton of different and spot on scented soy candles, but the best part is that you can design your own scent for a spray, diffuser, or candle while enjoying a glass of wine or beer, and take home your own creation.
