The ambiance and service were at the high end compared to other restaurants in the city. This evening I ordered the bistek arrenchero along with a chef salad. It was quite the meal and I am sure I out-did myself with this meal. My friend ordered the chilliqueles platter and it was equally delicious by non-Mexican standards. The place was very busy and I noticed that we were not the only expats in the restaurant. Well this area is well-known for that. Everything about this restaurant was marvelous and we will for sure come back again during our next visit to Mexico City.

We went on a Monday night and had such a fun, upscale experience from start to finish. One thing we really loved was being able to dine at the bar. It's surprisingly hard to find full food service at the bar in Mexico City, so that made the evening feel extra special and relaxed. We started with the Carpaccio di Manzo and the Carpaccio di Pulpo. The flavors were great, though the pulpo dish was a bit light on the octopus and leaned more heavily on the potatoes. For our mains, we ordered a couple of specials -- a seafood soup and the tuna pizza -- and both were absolutely delicious. We finished the night with a few desserts and a couple bottles of gourmet Italian wine, which paired beautifully with everything. The service was excellent, and we even had the pleasure of meeting the chef, Alejandro, which added a personal touch to the evening. The atmosphere is undeniably upscale, and you feel it in both the ambiance and the level of service. A wonderful spot for a special occasion or a romantic dinner. We'll definitely be back!

It was rich in sauce, cheese, and several other types of vegatables and seasoning that gave the lasagna a spicy kick. My friend ordered the pasta bolognese and that sauce had a sweater flavor and it was even richer with tomatoes. Definitely authentic Italian pasta! Tonight was not the night to be seated outdoors because the cooler temperature was definitely noticeable. The dining room is small but the ambiance filled with plants and other cool decorations made up for the smaller space. We both got jugo de Jamaica which is one of my favorite juice drinks on Mexico. I ask him if I can have a glass of Chardonnay . He brings a bottle and I taste test it. It's okay so he pours around two ounces in my glass . He then continues to hover and stare.
