Their Bolognese was plentiful and delicious. I chose the fettuccine for the pasta option, and they had four others to choose from. The Bolognese sauce was not spicey at all, which is what I had expected, and it had a very slight sweet taste which made all of the difference. My friend went for the calamari and she loved it. I noticed at the folks at next table over were enjoying a margherita pizza, and it made me envious. My friend and I came here for lunch today, and I would say that the service was exceptional. At least three different servers came by our table to see if we needed anything and to make sure everything was ok. We sat outside along the sidewalk, and there was a lot of shade that made the experience extra comfortable. Everything about this restaurant was outstanding. read more

If you're looking to get sick & receive bad service then this is the spot for you! Our whole group got terribly sick after eating here. Awful next day on vacation. On top of that the service was awful. We were charged for a pizza we did not order and the server insisted we did! The server also complained to someone in our group about the tip not being good. A very cute ambiance, service was great and the food didn't disappoint. We ordered the Salmon Fettuccine and Seafood Pasta with the Attenti bottle of wine, followed by the cheesecake which was to die for. Both servers were attentive and nice. My only thing is that the manager intentionally avoided coming to our table to check on us multiple times, while he checked on another table (the only other table there). Such a great surprise! So glad we decided to come here or we probably wouldn't have gone to this neighborhood and would have missed out! So many cute things around to see, it's a darling part of the city, and the food was so good! 2 pasta dishes and the total with tip was only $25! Cute little Italian spot in a local neighborhood of DF. We were looking for something non-Mexican and thought we wld try it out. Cute patio seating, definitely caters to the locals, pet friendly, super friendly waiters. Decent wine list. The free bread & bruschetta tomatoes were delicious. The caprese salad was also pretty incredible. The pizza and pasta we ordered were ok. Nothing special. Good place for something different. We had a wonderful experience here. It was my daughters birthday and her and her sister had pizza. I tasted and thought it was pretty good. They loved it! My wife ordered the shrimp and asparagus dish and I had the salmon ravioli. I was skeptical since my wife (who loved ravioli) told me that salmon ravioli is not that great. I was pleasantly surprised and so was she. Her dish was delicious as well. I told them about my daughter's birthday and they totally took care of her. Wonderful experience! read more

This was a great little Italian place to find near my house. It's a very cute ambiance and there is plenty of outdoor seating. The menu gives many pasta and pizza options. I tried the friend meatballs as an appetizer, which was very nice. The dipping sauce was great. I got the lasagna as a main dish, and it was very good as well. The pasta nero is also very good. There was bread at the beginning of the meal too with a delicious pasta sauce. The waiters were very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience. My only complaint is the pricing is pretty high. read more

Not very attenti. Average at best, and certainly not up to CDMX standards. I went by myself after work, and ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio, the minestrone soup as a starter and a pasta with shrimp and asparagus and vodka sauce. The minestrone was excellent, flavorful, hot, beefy and delicious. However the pasta was served in a broken pile in a ridiculously small plate (not a dinner plate) with the asparagus in two long uncut spears. Served as they were, on top of a mound of pasta, made them very hard to cut or eat. There were maybe 5 shrimps in the dish, which were fresh, but seems a little skimpy to me (or should I say scampi). A nice bread selection with tomato accompaniment was served. The kicker was at the end, when I asked to have the remainder boxed and clearly asked for the check. Instead I had the desert menu thrust upon me. I know, single female, let's sell her some dessert. Well, in a long line of photos the creme brulee looked nice and I figured you can't go wrong with that so I asked for that and a tea. What arrived a couple minutes later was an absolutely monstrous pudding. It would have been enough to serve 4-5 people. I was rather surprised that after not finishing my meal and asking for the check, the manager (as it was the manager, not just a waiter who pushed the desert on me) didn't have the courtesy to mention that this dessert was enormous and suggest another. In the end I asked to have it exchanged for "anything" smaller. I got panna cotta which was completely uninteresting and rather bland. Hot tea was served with cold milk, huh?! Bad service if you ask me. Especially for someone who didn't exactly cheap out with her order of appetizer, wine, main, and dessert. Would not go back. read more

Disappointing. Caesar salad, lettuce not fresh; ravioli with ricotta had no distinguishing taste, flat flavor. Do not recommend even though Pizza with mushrooms was wonderful. And Service was very good. If I went back here would stick with pizza. read more

Friendly staff, but bland tasting food. We ordered the lasange which tasted like a supermarket lasange, pre made and a pesto pasta which absolutely had no flavour at all! It tasted like someone had just thrown the jar of pesto into the pasta and served it on a plate. We also ordered the pizza to which is why i gave it 2 stars. Pizza was fresh and tasty and had a beautiful crust :) wait staff were friendly. For the amount of money we paid i would expect alot more effort. read more

Great bread basket with a variety of options, ok dipping tomato salsa, fresh lemonade and enjoyed my 'piamontesa' salad that came with grapefruit slices, blue cheese, salad greens and a light vinaigrette. I will never forget what an amazing dinner experience this was. The staff was super attentive and courteous and did not hessitate to provide further details when we asked about items on the menu. YOU MUST order the ravioli. It was a green, velverty, heaven-like taste I will always remember and crave! They also provide a complimentary basket of fresh baked bread at the beginning of your meal. First time at Attenti and I must say I was constantly impressed by their service. Our server was great and attentive. We also had the pleasure to have Capitan Velino prepare some of the food we had ordered. I loved how Velino (manager maybe owner?) was hands on and attentive with our service rather than being behind doors. We ordered their pepperoni with bacon pizza, a cesar salad, and a crepe with cajeta. It was incredible watching Cap. Velino make the Cesar salad w/ dressing and homemade cajeta sauce for the crepe. Both were filled with flavor and were very much enjoyed. I have nothing to complain about this great little Italian restaurant. Great ambiance, great people. Can't wait to try some of their other food options. I will definitely return. read more

The martinis and Caesar salad were prepared table side (masterfully) and the wine was excellent and well priced. We so enjoyed our first trip to Attenti that we dined there a second time over the course of our one-week stay in Mexico City. Both times we ate at one of the five outside tables on the sidewalk. Attenti serves wonderful, flavorful Italian food and the wait staff were delightful. Highlights of our visits were the Spaghetti Bolognese, cannelloni with spinach in a cream sauce, Caesar salad (made table-side), and our flambé desserts (again, made table-side). Both times we were waited upon by the very amiable David, and he was assisted by Vito who made the salads and desserts. I have to say, I have never seen food made table-side that was so attentively tended to. Vito was meticulous in his preparation, and he spent a good ten minutes at the table preparing both the salads and desserts. The results were divine, and the strawberries jubilee was memorable. When we return to Mexico City, we will absolutely dine again at Attenti. read more

Although the food was generally OK, we were disappointed in the fact that they had none of their Italian wines available. Out of our four meals, the spinach ravioli got top marks....other three creamy pasta dishes, were very rich. My prawns/shrimp tasted a bit fishy. I am no longer a fan of Attenti. Aside from the fading talent in the kitchen, I was disconcerted by the final appearance of someone not dressed in restaurant-appropriate gear for this particular place. The late and strange arrival materialized at my table after the waiter saw my credit card and apparently went for help. I am a believer in wearing the same or similar clothes that one forces the waitstaff to use, so the biker/ski-bunny vest with zippers and the punk attitude was maybe more Condesa than the background vibe allows. Incongruous although not threatening. I think I could take her if she decided to tackle me rather than demonstrate faux skillz by switching to English. The positive aspect of my break-up with Attenti is the improved number and quality of surrounding restaurants. They must be struggling with killer competition. Anyway, I feel the need to update this review in case I somehow previously influenced people to eat here. It's off my list now. Use only if you really need fresh bread. read more
