I was hesitant in booking a sitter that I had never met before, but based on a recommendation I decided to give them a try. We decided to book a sitter for one evening while we went to the Napa Rose chef's counter for dinner which is not child friendly. Linda Keating, our sitter, had contacted me a few weeks before our trip so that I could ask questions, etc. She arrived promptly to our hotel and was very kind and professional. Linda texted me updates during the night, as needed and got my little one to sleep pretty quickly! The next morning my daughter woke up and the first thing out of her mouth (no joke) was, "I had SO much fun last night!" Miss. Linda and my little one played hide and go seek, told jokes, had some iPad time and my daughter was just THRILLED. I definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future. Rates for one child at a hotel is $16/hr 4 hour minimum, plus an $8 fee. You also have to cover any parking fees they may incur at your hotel. read more

I recently traveled to Disneyland with my husband and 2 kids. (3 and 4 year old). I had specific functions that I had to attend with my husband and was really nervous about hiring someone to watch our children. Our boys are not used to being watched by people that are not close family members. Also, my 3 year old is in full swing of terrible 3s, and can be a lot to handle with full on temper tantrums. Thanks to Yelp reviews I decided that my children are likely to be well taken care of. Sharon Antongiovanni was the sitter that the company put us in touch with. She is fantastic for multiple reasons. She is very mellow and relaxed, when my son started doing his "monster" sounds it didn't even get a response. :) We hired her on multiple occasions, changed the timing few times and came back later than expected last night. She was professional, right on time and was willing to be flexible. She took both boys out to dinner twice, shopping to the toy store and even took them to California Adventure! I will be honest, even as their parent I would only take these trips with my husband as back up. Everything went perfectly well. She sent us an update on the boys with pictures attached, told us how much they ate and what, what they did and how everything went. My kids wanted her to stay "forever". I used Around the Clock to watch my daughter while I attended a wedding in Disneyland a while ago. We were nervous to just leave her with a stranger but I was assured that all childcare providers went through an extensive background check. The evening worked out great and I called the sitter to let her know that we were going to be an hour later than expected, she was fine with it. My only issue was that my daughter went to bed early and rose extremely early the next day. She told me she played on an ipad, watched tv all evening, and never left the hotel room. I really wish that the sitter would have brought some crafts, books, or coloring materials. I could have left her alone in the room and had the same outcome, but it was nice knowing somebody was there. read more

I've used this babysitting agency twice during stays at Disneyland (once in January 2011 and once in December 2011). I was able to call a few days in advance and get a sitter with no problem on a weekend evenings both times at my hotel. They know all the area hotels well and are able to navigate parking restrictions and such, which saved logistics for me. Rates were reasonable for a major metropolitan area. As luck would have it, we actually got the same sitter both visits, which was comforting to a picky toddler! It was nice to have the peace of mind that all their sitters are Trustline-checked. It was no problem getting someone to come to our room to watch our two year old at dinner time, even though it was fairly last minute. The sitter, Gigi, was great. We had a great experience with this company! Marsha was our sitter and she was fantastic. We are doing a Disney trip and just wanted a night out with my sister for her birthday and we needed a sitter for my three and six year old. This was a last minute decision (called around 3:30pm and wanted someone at 6:30pm ) and the woman I called was easily able to find a sitter for us. Marsha was like a kid whisperer! This past week I was in town for a work function and needed childcare the first night for an evening party and then during the day the next few days. Sharon Antongiovanni was absolutely amazing! After a disappointing experience with another sitting company during my last work trip I was nervous and explained to Sharon that I was hoping that she would be more involved with them than the last sitter who ignored them completely. Sharon not only left at nearly 1am one "night" but she showed back up just before 9am and took my boys to Disney (we have annual passes) while I attended my 9-5 training! She also took them on walks, out to eat and went swimming in the hotel pool! She was very patient with my stubborn boys and kept me up to date with how they were doing. My boys would talk about all that they had done together each evening and told me how much they really liked her. After the first night I knew that Sharon was a great fit for us and I had no hesitation letting her take my boys to Disney or around the neighborhood. My husband travels often for his work and my job calls me up to Anaheim every few months so I know who I will contact next time I am in need of her services. We used their service while we were in Disneyland in February. Just for 8 hours while we could go to Carsland with our older son we just wanted to have somebody watch our 2 year old in our hotel. And we had Gigi. I have nothing but good thing to say about her. The thing that I liked about this agency was first of all the average Ge of their sitters are older and Gigi was amazing. She brought toys for my son to play with, she took him out to walk in a hotel and also took him to lunch at Story tellers cafe in our hotel and he had a blast! Sweet, reliable and trustworthy. My kids love her. Hired on october 2012, Around the Clock Sitters helped me with a six month baby in the Disneyland park. Let me start by saying that the agency, the sitter especially, was amazing!
