My son is three and he loves to go to Deecyda. He has learned to bake, he attends Tae Kwon Do, goes hiking, has science activities, reads books and has done countless art projects. All of this is on top of the typical curriculum they have which is learning letters, numbers, tracing etc. All the teachers are highly educated professionals who help my son grow, speak up, have boundaries and discipline. Here is a photo of him baking and doing Tae Kwon Do

My kids love playing on their playground. They have real objects like walkie talkies, a phone-booth setup which serve as reference points to give a better grasp of history when they get to school. Ms. Megumi does a great job of maintaining the garden. There are bugs, butterflies, seeds, and plants the kids interact with, and the kids even get to eat vegetables from the garden. The school community puts real effort into family events. The Halloween Trunk-or-Treat and the Christmas Fair are fun for both kids and parents. While the cost reflects local market rates, this program is supplemental.

I'm delighted to write this detailed review of my family's time at Child's World Preschool…read more Our oldest son started at CWPS in the Summer of 2021 during the summer program and we only dipped our toes in, doing just 2 days a week on the T/TH schedule. We enrolled that fall in the 3 day a week program M,W, F. He loved the school, and loved his teachers Miss Miki and Miss Marisela. It felt very magical from the beginning, from the fantastic play yard to all the smiling faces and happy kids. We knew early on how much we enjoyed the school so we enrolled our youngest daughter into the Parent/Toddler program as soon as she was eligible at 18 months. Miss Colleen was wonderful and we faithfully did every session until our daughter was 3 and old enough for the main pre-school program. And she started her pre-school at 5 days a week right away because she was so prepared and ready for it thanks to all of her time with Miss Colleen. Our son went up to 5 days a week for his pre-kindergarten year. He had Miss Tami and Miss Miranda and our whole family loved Miss Tami so much. We started feeling that sense of teacher loyalty. So we admit we were secretly hoping Miss Miki would be our daughter's pre-school teacher too because we were so happy with her, only to find out that Miss Jaime was the perfect match! Our little one blossomed so much during her year with Miss Jaime and Miss Cherie. We finally realized ALL of the teachers are fantastic. So as she was cruising through her pre-kindergarten year last Fall with Miss Betty and Miss Lisset, our family was beginning to feel nostalgic and the distant sting of not having Child's World in our life anymore after 4 wonderful years. It has been a pleasure dealing with everyone at the school from Miss Cindy to now Miss Mai as well as Miss Kelly and Miss Donna, the administration team has been steady, professional and helpful. We also want to give a special thanks and mention to the wonderful other teachers on campus like Miss Cece, Miss Carolina, Miss Amber and Miss Megumi who also made a personal stamp on the hearts of our kids. We loved all the events for the whole family especially Family Fun Day in the Spring and the Christmas Fair and Pancake Breakfast. Both of our kids always took part in the chapel days as well and they loved it, but we never felt any pressure to participate in church events. We can truly say that our experience with Child's World has been one of the best things about our life as parents in Orange County after moving here about 6 years ago. We took so much joy knowing what a wonderful head start they were getting on school, socialization and life outside the house in general. And we are so grateful. Thank you Child's World!

Unfortunately my son only went 3 total days before we ended up not returning. The story: on the 3rd day I picked my son up from the playground at the end of the day, the moment he saw me he immediately broke down sobbing saying his head hurt really bad and a kid had hit him with a shovel. Obviously concerned, I asked the teachers what happened and asked why I was not notified, and why he didn't receive any ice or first aid? All 4 teachers took turns blaming each other, changing their story from one teacher saw the incident, to nobody saw the incident, and then they said they did not have to notify me of injuries that did not leave a mark. One teacher even told me to "take it down a notch" as I asked questions regarding what happened. My son cried holding his head for 3 hours and threw up. I took him to Kaiser Irvine ER where they said he had a mild concussion. Keep in mind I have the toughest little boy who has never cried at school, and regularly falls and does crazy things and never blinks an eye. So I knew something was wrong. None of the teachers apologized. Zero leadership or accountability as adults. I don't expect perfect and it is very normal for accidents to happen on. The playground, but I expect basic first aid and a notification. Keep in mind, on the first day of him going to mariners, my son was also hit again with a "block" on accident. It left no mark, but he did receive ice, it was documented on the procare app, AND I received a phone call. Nobody had any explanation as to why none of this happened when he was hit in the head 2 days later with a shovel. (Which they do have on the playground gardening area) I made an appointment with the director, I received a full refund (about $1500 of fees), and they admitted policy was not followed by the employees. We haven't returned to mariners at all since this incident as it was just such a disappointment. Mostly just the complete lack of care and compassion toward my little boy than anything else. I can't recommend Mariners at all.

With just a year and a half left before he graduates, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the amazing teachers and administrators who have guided him along the way. My son has truly grown up a happy child who loves school, and I attribute so much of that to LePort. I'm constantly told what a wonderful young man he is, and I believe the character-building foundation at LePort Montessori has been exceptional in shaping who he is today. At LePort Spectrum North, he has had the most caring and thoughtful teachers--Ms. Jacobs, Ms. Masha, Ms. Cassandra Kolacinski, Ms. Lauren, and Ms. Robin. We are thoroughly enjoying the middle school program: it blends Montessori principles with strong academics and emphasizes helping others, self-discipline, time management, and critical thinking. During alumni night, every graduate shared that they felt extremely well prepared for high school after completing LePort's middle school program. Thank you, Ms. K, Ms. Lauren, and Ms. Robin, for everything you do! I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the phenomenal administrative team--Head of School Ms. Krista, Business Manager Ms. Karyn, and Admin Support Ms. Jen. You make the school run seamlessly, and I love the new subjects, events, and programs you bring to the community. Thank you--it has truly been a joy to be part of LePort.

My older daughter did great in the toddler program but we started to see issues when she moved to Primary. I met with Ms. Ana many times where we tried bringing in books from home or I sent her pictures and Ms. Ana made a special work item for my daughter to keep her interest. Eventually we found out that my daughter is Autistic. At that point I asked Ms. Ana to work with me to have a Behavioral Therapist in the school with my daughter. Very long story short, this Montessori environment is not the right environment for my neurodivergent child. But over the last 2 years I have spent upwards of 50 hours on the phone and in Ms. Ana's office trying to find ways to help my daughter succeed. Ms. Ana never gave up trying to help us. I love the Montessori curriculum and LePort was able to nurture my daughter's intelligence where she has just turned 5 and is reading chapter books and learning division. My younger daughter is currently having a blast in Ms. Ivette's classroom. A word of advice for parents experiencing behavioral issues - get your child assessed. My relationship with my daughter improved infinitely once I had professionals helping me understand how her mind works and how to speak to her in a way that she understands.

In our second year with the school, our experience with teachers, staff, and families have all been incredible. Not only are teacher student ratios great, they pair up the teachers into perfect "teams" that seem to balance foundational principles really well. We see the teacher teams are able to prioritize both fun and education, fitness and discipline, and experience and creativity. TRP is where staff knows kids by names, and where families become new best friends. It is also situated in a quiet part of Turtle Rock with access to a ton of shared natural playground space where kids can hang out before, during, and after classes vs. some other options we looked at that are situated in the middle of a more commercial backdrop. Add there is a full time chef on staff for kids to have freshly cooked warm meals daily, that helped me greatly not have to worry daily about meal prep. As working parents, we really appreciate that Turtle Rock offers full day care while still providing a strong educational and playful environment. I don't have to worry if my kids are doing well as they update you nearly daily with photos and messages , and you can message the teachers as needed as well throughout the day . We're very grateful for the dedicated teachers and staff and would highly recommend this school.

This was so bittersweet, as we all wished that she could stay longer (as long as possible) in Marco Polo! We didn't want to leave! We were a part of such a tight-knit, warm, supportive, and welcoming community - the teachers, fellow parents, all the students - that I truly believe that the bond forged and positive effects gleaned (both academic and non-academic) will last well into the future. We felt that the Reggio Emilia approach worked so well in helping kids of different character traits and temperaments grow according to their own pace and strengths. We loved all the teachers that have taught our daughter, as well as others we saw every single day in their various supporting roles (admin, front desk, meal times, science, subs, etc). It took a village, and boy was that village awesome. We could feel that the teachers (and everyone else) working there truly were there because they loved kids, and they loved helping kids thrive. The Preschool and Pre-K programs were particularly notable and instrumental in their roles in helping our daughter get more than ready for her kindergarten year (and beyond). Under the relatively new leadership of Ms. Kimberly, I saw notable improvements in terms of the variety of interesting new subjects, activities, and a stronger sense of direction, leadership, and community. We can't possibly thank Marco Polo enough for helping shape our daughter, for encouraging and loving her, and for supporting us throughout. Ms Amy, Ms Venus, Mr Erick, Ms Paris, Ms Fatemeh, Ms Destinee, Ms Kimberly, Ms Jing, Ms Caitlin, Mr Ruben, Ms Lisa, Ms Janet, and everyone else - you truly made Marco Polo such a wonderful journey for us. One of them even told me that when their kid started here, everything became about "Jenny Hart." After my child joined, I can absolutely confirm that it's all true, this school really lives up to its reputation, and I only wish we had found it sooner. The teachers here are not only highly professional but, more importantly, incredibly loving and patient. My child has learned so many valuable selfcare skills using the potty independently, cleaning up after meals, and putting toys back where they belong. He's also picked up new knowledge like counting, recognizing colors and shapes, and even learning letters and his own name. Every week he proudly brings home drawings and crafts, and he has made so many new friends along the way. Every morning when I drop him off, I can feel the joyful and energetic atmosphere as teachers and children greet each other warmly. In the afternoons, the phrase I hear most often is: "Can I play a little longer?" Whenever I ask, "Do you want us to pick you up earlier or later?" he always answers, "Later, I haven't played enough yet!" Sometimes on weekends he even wakes up asking to go to school, and when I remind him that it's closed until Monday, he sighs and says, "But I miss my teachers. I want to see them." I would like to give special thanks to Ms. G and Ms. B. My child feels so much love and trust from them, and they've patiently taught him so many life skills and knowledge. I myself always feel warmth and care in my conversations with the teachers and the directors. The school also organizes wonderful activities, such as Foam Parties, Puppet Shows, and Prehistoric Pets. One of the most exciting moments for my child was being able to touch animals he had never experienced before: a baby alligator, a baby python, a turtle, a lizard, and more. I am so grateful that my child can spend such unforgettable days here. I truly believe that when he grows up, he will look back at his time at this preschool as one of the most precious and joyful memories of his childhood.
