You guys have been my go to whenever I call a cab for folks without Uber, Lyft, etc. I've never sent you with someone puking or anything ridiculous because I get it. I frequently tip, even when someone happens to get a different way to their destination. I think it has been 3 years or more now that when I call for a ride, it doesn't show up at all. Like, 15 minutes late I call back to confirm, y'all confirm, and then still don't show up. So tonight I called y'all, you didn't show, called to confirm, y'all confirmed, and still didn't show(3hours earlier). 20 minutes ago I saw one of your taxi cabs park in the middle of the road with passengers screaming out the windows, then turn around illegally and speed off. Horrible service. My elderly disabled mother ordered a taxi. It's freezing cold & raining. It didn't show up on time. I called to see what the hold up is and the manager was extremely rude & unprofessional. She said it's shift change & it would be another 20-30 minutes. They didn't bother trying to tell my Mother who had been freezing outside soaking in the rain that there backed up & changing shifts so basically unavailable. You have one job...get it together. Avoid this business. The manager also stated they have "a bazillion other calls" so they can care less about my Mother. Absolutely disgusting. read more

I personally did not drive in with the driver, but was another vehicle. The driver was driving well above the speed limit (the speed limit was 35 and he was going at least 45) and cut off the cars in front of me, causing them to slam onto their brakes. He (it looked to be an older man) and I proceeded to pull into the 7-Eleven on Market Street, and I pulled into a parking lot, only to have him just about rear end me well after I had already parked. He then pulled into the lot beside me and gave me the stink eye. After my sister (who works there) got into my car not even a minute later, I pull out if the space. As soon as I pull out, the driver then proceeds to start quickly backing up, almost hitting the front of my car. If you have drivers as reckless as this man, I would never use your service! read more

Man this was a great service at the when it started riding at the beginning of 2020, I could call almost any time and get a ride, even pre-schedual a ride. When they would say it would be a 45min wait they would be there in 15min. But since aug 2021 they have gone down hill, have to call 7 or 8 times to even get a person and now when they say 45min its more like 3hrs or they just don't show. Horrible taxi service, i recommend that you never use this taxi service. I called them at 5:23 pm one night and they said 45 minutes or so until they arrive. Waited until 6:42 pm before calling them to find out where they were only to find they refuse to answer there phone. This company should be shut down. The other day I called to schedule transport to NE from South. The cab arrived nearly an hour late, but made it up to me and took me through the drive through at DQ. The whole way back, it wasn't that good but great driving. read more

So early this morning my girlfriend had a medical emergency so she ended up being picked up by an ambulance and I walked to the hospital. Well when we got released, I called around Towne taxi and mike ended up picking us up. I told him how much I had and he completely reassured me I had just money for our ride. Very amazing service. I have always used this taxi company when I go out Down town Salem. I don't mean to be over the top dramatic but I feel very uncomfortable riding with the other taxi drivers in the area. Around Town Taxi has a lot of great people who really take care of you. I often get Kenny and mike to pick me and my girlfriends up late when we are jumping around Salem. If You need a taxi late at night and are worried about getting some weirdo, I feel you. This seems to be the only place that actually screens good employees. read more

i ride with around town taxi for about two years now and thay have always bin great. All of a sudden it sounded like they got a new dispatcher or new owner but the dispatcher dose not communicate with the driver anymore. this is the third and final time that the cab driver drives me clear across town it is not the drivers fault it is dispatch i have bin driven in the completely in the opeset direction of my drop off location and do not get a break on the fair it ends up adding if not double but triple the cost and i have no choice but paying or get threatened by calling the police this service is absolut garbage having to pay for somthing that was no my mistake i recommend anyone that is looking for a canb service to ride with is yellow cab never bin ripped off or disappointed my name is jose lopez and i strongly agree with this statement read more

I've used All Around Taxi a few times (usually for emergency room pickups for myself or family) and they've always come through for me. They arrive on time and they get me (or others) to our destinations quickly. The drivers aren't too talkative, but that's not a bad thing if you're concentrating on something else. The next day, no taxi showed up at the appointed time, and after a few phone calls, they ultimately left me high and dry with no options other than coming over an hour late, causing me to miss my connection. I planned a two-night trip to Bend from Salem, and pre-purchased my $38 ticket for the Valley Retriever bus, scheduled to depart Salem at 7:55am. Not wanting to leave my car parked in the Amtrak lot for two nights (and the closest bus route more than a mile away) I called Around Towne taxi the afternoon before, with a request to be picked up no later than 7:25am the following morning. The person I spoke with said they would plan to pick me up about 7:15am. 7:15 ... 7:20 ... 7:25 passed. I called to ask "where ARE you?" Person who answered didn't have me on his pick up schedule, and was too far away to drive to my location and deliver me to the Amtrak station in time. So, I had no choice but to drive and park at Amtrak -- or miss the bus and forfeit my ticket money. Needless to say, Around Towne is off my list! read more

This is absolutely the best taxi ride I've had for a very long time. The dispatcher was very helpful and personable, I felt comfortable ordering a taxi from them right away. I had injured my knee and needed to go to urgent care. The taxi arrived promptly and was clean, neat and the driver was exceptionally courteous and helpful. She helped me with the wheelchair coming and going, knew the SE Salem neighborhood well and drove very safely. The price was amazingly reasonable and I felt badly because it was a short ride but she was understanding and professionally polite. I called them again when I was ready to go home. When I need a taxi again, to go anywhere in Salem, I will absolutely call this company!!! read more

About a year ago, I had a wonderful experience with this taxi service. The driver, a woman, was friendly and got me to where I needed quick. This taxi service even arrived faster than another that was running late. So I was surprised to see a negative review on Yelp about this taxi. And unfortunately, I had a negative experience as well. I called a "Mike" who picked up and told me my ride would pick me up in 20 min. at the latest. My ride was 5 min late, and this contributed to me being frustrated that I had missed catching a bus to another city. I talked to Mike about it, which he responded it certainly wasn't their fault for me missing my bus. I fumed. I called at a good time beforehand to make it to my bus on time. Even factored in being 5 min late. But these extra 5 min. were killing me. But the driver, Lady, was real nice and friendly. She understood my frustration and discounted my ride. I'm still going to keep using this service because of their wonderful drivers. But if it wants to keep in business, this company should handle complaints better. read more
