I scheduled a pick up at the Amtrak station far in advance. My train was delayed. WVYC was unable to accommodate the change for a new pick up time. Rick, the supervisor, was very rude and and rigid and unaccommodating. They made me wait THREE HOURS at the Amtrak station in the evening all by myself in an unsafe situation. When I called Erin, the owner, the next day to discuss she became very rude, defensive and hysterical, banning me from WVYC. It seems to me that a change in pick up time should be routine for any taxi company. These people completely fell apart at something so routine. I do NOT recommend WVYC unless you want your taxi company to abandon you after 30 weary hours of travel time and then put your safety in jeopardy. Thumbs down to WVYC!

He was courteous and smiling, but there was no small talk, which I appreciated. He made me feel comfortable and safe. It was a short trip, but he did not complain or remark on that. Please note that I called the main number and at first got a recording, then was contacted after I hung up; perhaps dispatch is automated now. I am sorry I didn't think to get this gentleman's name; I would prefer to work with him again.

I've ridden with these folks many times and I can state that if they said they'd have a driver at my home within X minutes, usually 30 minutes or less, they never let me down. Economical. I always pay cash so I don't know their policy about cards. Their electronic systems seemed to be functional when I was riding with them. I've never had luggage. Most drivers have shown basic civility and one complied with my request to watch until I got into my house after a medical procedure. None smoked. One driver is unusually loutish and after my second ride with him I began riding with Willamette Valley Yellow Cab, which in my experience is only marginally more expensive.

So tonight I called y'all, you didn't show, called to confirm, y'all confirmed, and still didn't show(3hours earlier). 20 minutes ago I saw one of your taxi cabs park in the middle of the road with passengers screaming out the windows, then turn around illegally and speed off. The driver also took the longer route there I was tracking on my phone. He also could not run my card and I had to convince him to type it in (which worked) and when I asked for receipt he said he could not produce one on the spot! So I had to call and get one later.
