The food was very good and all. It is a convient location. I used to go here all the time. I will not be coming back. I lose a lot of respect for a place that pushes out a restaurant that has been in the neighborhood for thirty years.

We had a birthday lunch for a work colleague here because it was within walking distance. I figured it would just be ok since it seemed like it was more for convenience sake than for anything else. One of my colleagues vouched for the value of their lunch special and how everyone was nice. The set-up is semi-buffet style. You choose the sides from their line and then you get to pick your protein choice, ring up and and done. We had a fairly large group but they accommodated us by shuffling some chairs and tables together. My beef shawerma was decent and maybe it had been a while but the tabbouleh was pretty good too.

This restaurant is so beautiful! I've been twice and sat on the pillows on the floor both times for the traditional experience. The food is also well made, packed with flavors, and staff are really nice. I think everyone should go at least once.

lunch special, gyro, hummus, veggies, pita, bread and falafel

I got the lunch special which came with meat and some choices of 3 sides, bread, and salad. I thought the meat was seasoned well and was tender. The hummus was pretty good but the pita and garlic bread were dry and kind of stale. I particularily enjoy falafel but my boyfriend liked it! The inside is quite dim but there is plenty of seating and the workers are super nice and explained their menu well and made us feel welcome.

Tried their chicken shawarma lunch special. Very big portion for the price. The sides were very good but the shawarma was a little dry. Cozy ambience. I would definitely go back and tried their other types of meats.

SERVICE/AMBIANCE: - The interior of the restaurant is beautiful! There are beautiful murals on the wall that give a middle eastern/Mediterranean vibe. There are tables but also floor seating with cushions. FOOD - Their food is halal, including their meat lovers pizza which has beef pepperoni, sausage, and ham. I was excited to try this since I don't eat pork. It was VERY heavy and a bit greasy. I could eat a max of 2 slices - We also ordered a gyro wrap that was good, very standard. - We ordered some baklava for dessert, which was tasty

This used to be one of my favorite lunch spots when I worked one street over but our office moved and it has been years since I've been back. Yesterday one of my friends and I decided to visit for lunch and I remembered exactly why it was a favorite of mine. The restaurant has a great ambiance, very friendly service and great food. We decided to get the lunch special which comes with your choice of protein, greek salad, choice of 3 sides and a drink ($13ish). We both decided to get the gyro meat as our protein and it was so tender and flavorful. I like to slater it in their tatziki sauce (ask for extra!). For my sides, I chose the lentil rice, pasta and a veggie mix with chicken. It was soo good! Everything is absolutely delicious so you can't go wrong no matter what you choose. I'm definately not going to let years pass again before I return.

Vegan food is found to be tasty and healthy for the choice , falafel and hummus and salad , grape leaves. Eggplant was smoked flavor and I liked it. Service was easy to understand and place a order , table was ok , rugs felt dusty sitting on staples in the wood area of the seat uncomfortably, . Music and lights are nice area art work

I didn't love it, I didn't hate it, but it grew on me? I'd be willing to give this spot another go, but I'd pass on the chickpeas and the pita.

This restaurant sits at the end of a small strip center with 3 other businesses. To be honest, I'm not the most knowledgeable on Mediterranean cuisine, but I'm always in search of the best gyro. Since this was my first time here, I decided to read a few dozen reviews, usually the three star and under reviews reveal much. Many yelpers really like the pizza here especially the Halal meat pizza, but they expect you to tip before you even receive the meal which rubbed some people the wrong way. The interior has a great vibe and they do offer cross legged seating on the floor. You can order off the menu, but they do offer a buffet choice as well. On a nice day you can sit outside at one of several tables. I came here at what would be considered the noon lunch rush on a Friday and there were about 10 of us in the restaurant. Now the primary thing I look for in a good gyro is if they actually go to the considerable effort to layer the levels of lamb and pork cutlets together on the spit. That does take a lot of effort and expense which is why I seldom if ever see this. This place is no exception, as I quickly recognized the preformed previously frozen gyro meat spinning in the kitchen. And sure enough, the gyro meat served on the bed of rice was a little dry and lacked any redeeming flavor. The pita bread was fairly dry, but they have a good tzicki sauce. At least the small side salad was very fresh and the bismatti rice was buttery. I would visit this place again, but I think I'll definitely go with the pizza next time. Plenty of photos included to round out this review.

Lunch special, gyro with three sides. Very good
Mark F.

Bumped them one star because of service issues. However, the lunch special gyro with three sides was a good deal and tasted great. I chose hummus, spicy rice, and some type of chicken vegetable stew as my three sides and it came with a Greek salad as well. So after we placed our order and got our three sides with the salad and paid they said they would bring the gyros out to us however apparently they gave our order away to someone else. Then a lunch rush hit, so by the time we did get our gyros we pretty much had finished up our three sides and salad so we didn't have much to eat with the meat that finally made it our way. I know restaurants aren't perfect and they do make mistakes but for me what really counts when a mistake is made is the apology afterwards, which was non-existent. The issue didn't take away from the great taste of the food and we probably would come back, although next time we're going to keep an eye on our order before someone else snatches it up.

I am pretty surprised at how many good reviews this place has on here and on Google... maybe they used to be better before or maybe we went on an off day but I was not impressed whatsoever. As soon as I went inside I had a bad taste in my mouth from how the customer service was because I was going in to reserve a table before my whole party arrived and the man talking to me talked to me like I was dumb and kept asking me in a rude way "did you understand?" And was demeaning in general. I saw him speak in this way to other people as well so I guess that's something. However, most of the party that arrived said that they were too hungry to drive to somewhere else so we came and sat in this establishment and had our lunch which consisted of burgers, fries, a chicken salad, wraps, and a few pizzas. The people who had the wrap all said that the wraps were way too small for the price which I agree with because they were eating pizza that was supposed to be enough to have leftovers because they were still so hungry . The chicken salad was fine but I also expected it to be a larger size for the price because it was not very filling. The pizza itself was very good and I enjoyed the pizza because it was hot and fresh from the oven. We had to do all of the other things ourselves including getting the menu, giving out orders refilling cups and going to get fountain drinks . This is not some place that I would be visiting again-- unless it was only to pick up pizza.

Nice size, pork and beef (I think), tasty red sauce. Quite Italian. Good value. The good, but: Chopped salad. Good size, a lot of meat, balsamic was tasty, good cheese, but not a legit chopped salad. Real chopped salad- go to Tony Cs. Pizza - Tasted fine, but too doughy for legit NY style pizza (and, I grew up in NY and get there 2-3x a year). Skimpy on the sausage, but excellent flavor/tasty. Would I order from here again. Probably not, as the non-pizza options are limited and the pizza was just okay.

My daughter ordered the stuffed crust pizza, which is filled with ricotta cheese. It was her first time trying ricotta, and unfortunately, it wasn't her favorite. I built my own pizza with Italian sausage, onions, and fresh basil, and I highly recommend adding the garlic butter, it was the perfect finishing touch and added so much flavor. Overall, the pizza was good, and the friendly service made the experience even better. While it wasn't quite the style of pizza I'd personally rave about, I can absolutely see why so many people enjoy it. That's to be expected when we descended upon the restaurant with such a large group. For six people, we ordered three pizzas to share. We definitely could have shared with more people because we had some pizza left over. We got The Works, Shroomin' Goat, and Texas Chicken Ranch pizzas. The Texas Chicken Ranch was by far our favourite. It was really good, while the other two were alright. The crust was weirdly bubbly and amorphous looking. There was a lot of crust. The Works was okay. The sauce and meat weren't particularly tasty. The Shroomin' Goat was a vegetarian pizza with a lot of arugula, which is not my type of pizza, but our vegetarian friend said it was okay. Great vibes at Pinthouse overall though, and I have enjoyed their other pizzas in the past.

They have an indoor area where you can grab drinks but just pull up to the window and get what you want. What I really like about it is buying by the slice is about the same as if you would buy a whole pie, so it makes it easy to mix and match and try a bunch of uniquely topped pies. The slices are huge, so 2 is easily plenty. Arguably you can be fine with one. I highly recommend the cacio e pepe, a playful take on the classic Roman pasta, but you can think of it as a white pie with some tingling black pepper. Sausage pizza is also great, though a bit on the wetter side with all the honey. Plain pepperoni really highlights the expert simplicity of a classic pie - the crust really shines and the pepperoni is top tier. Cheese is fine. Stracciatella is kinda like a margherita slice with a thick dollop of fresh dairy, but it adds a bit too much water to the pie to stay crisp. Corn pizza was the summer special and while it was interestingly spicy and sweet from the corn, would say it was far and away the least favorite from our crew. Make sure you grab some hot honey and ranch for the crust! Also don't sleep on the caesar salad. It is very well dressed and has a nice combo of crunch from the shallots and freshness from the lettuce. You won't notice the miso but it adds umami punch (instead of the anchovies that normally are used presuambly).
