I originally came here for an Invisalign consultation and ended up booking my cleanings and fillings here. They made all my appointments back to back the same day so I can fit Invisalign and getting back on track with my oral health fit into my work schedule! I had Invisalign IPR, a cavity filling, and a cleaning all in one day and left with ZERO pain. The numbing went away within 2 hours and I was good to go at work! Now, all four top teeth have root canal issues, and the cost to fix this is over $20,000. On top of that, he used an intense light that left dark spots on my lips after drying the glue. It seems he did all this intentionally, with these problems only becoming apparent years later. I recorded all my visits and can provide proof if necessary. Dentist. Lindgren falsely claimed I cursed his staff, which is completely untrue. If I had, I would ask him to specify exactly what was said and to whom. I urge him to do the right thing. This behavior is unprofessional and immature. Dentist. John Lindgren and his wife, both highly educated and quick to defend themselves, seem skilled at deflecting criticism rather than addressing the real issues at hand. I had an orthodontic emergency where my permanent retainer broke, and there was exposed sharp metal in my mouth. I was not originally a patient with Chan & Chen Orthodontics but they still took me right away. I called many other orthodontics offices, and nobody else could take me that day. It was the Friday before a 3 day weekend, and I was very scared I'd have to go the whole weekend with the sharp metal in my mouth. Came in as a second opinion for my 10 year old son. He started his braces (one appointment only)…read morebut I became very unhappy once I realized my son's orthodontist once again changed his treatment plan. But now to something that included a root canal on his front tooth. Absolutely not! I want to say - I know medical/dental there are alot of variation in treating patients but my son's case I admit can be more complex compared to the next child but....... I felt that Dr. Salem's treatment plan was much more sound and was supported with clear patient education that made complete sense to me. The previous Ortho I started my son with changed his proposed treatment plan 3times in one month. First proposed at initial consultation, second time at the second appt when placing the molar spacers, and a third time at the banding. All this in a matter of one month time. Teeth do not change that fast. Anyway... Dr. Karim put all the cards out on the table and was aware of all the obstacles and possibilities my son may face as treatment progresses. Not only did he know what he was talking about (I came here based on a highly reliable referral) he also had great chairside manner! Once the consult appt was over I sat with Julliana and she explained about what to do from this point to transfer my case. I like her. She's down to earth and very efficient.
