Amazing place to get your guard card , I would give this place a 11/10 if I could, they made the process of getting a guard card extremely easy. I don't remember the instructors name, Might be Aaron but dude kicks as* at his job and made the class an amazing experience when he could of just phoned it in and made the class simple and to the point but he genuinely did his best in keeping everyone engaged throughout the learning and watching video process. I'll be back to get my other certifications and Armed license after i get more experience. It took about 4 weeks exactly to get my license, made a new resume and applied the next day. The class was long but the instructor and the people that attended made the class fun. The process was easy. Everything was well organized.

Small security company (well, it's a smallish office space) that does firearm sales and FFL transfers as a sideline, which makes sense - if you get a Guard Card from them, you may need a duty weapon too. Anyway, I used them to do an FFL transfer and they were super friendly and helpful. Transfer was quick and easy as they do the Federal forms online instead of those tedious paper copies, and their transfer fee is very reasonable (this is why I chose them in the first place). Scammers For many years I've valued them for not being like the rest and hoping on the money train band wagon as most all other's businesses out there. I purchased the armed course to renew my card in this fashion instead of the normal unarmed class I'd get. After nearly 15 years experience in this profession you would think companies want that and respect that way their company runs smoothly we remain satisfied; a win win I would think, anyhow. I go through and think I'm purchasing A self paced course that's what they said and I do not ever recall them stating that a person had thirty days to complete their course. Instead they revamp their website and add a end date to the course so you have to buy it again. I'm so tired of company's making conscious choices to milk us for more and more money while still paying us well below what a person needs to even survive let alone deserves. it's disheartening. If you buy from them don't have something happen especially during a pandemic and can't commit to the timeframes on their courses. you'll be forking out more money. This industry doesn't value people like they say they value the clients they're trying to keep happy while every employee gets gutter treatment. They don't care that the industry keeps a revolving door just like each of their businesses. Very sad. read more

I have taken courses from this agency and found them to be comprehensive and informative. Their online courses are exceptionally well done. They complete finger prints and pictures for ID cards for $15 which is WAY below market price. Staff are knowledgeable and agency have retired LEOs working. I moved here from out of state with 20 years of security experience 15 of those years with Corporate security. I did the online course with Arrow so i can obtain my AZ Guard card. All was fine until i went in person for the photo & finger Print portion. The tall young man who helped me came off very annoyed which surprised me because I'm there as a customer. What i didn't understand is while i was filling out my information he came into the back room sat on the table across from me & unholstered his firearm then holstered it back! I asked about job openings & told him of my Experience in security. His answer was we Don't care . Not sure who we he was referring to since it was only us two in the room. Lots of people own guns and like them, but doesn't mean you'd be prepared or know what to do in a real situation. The simulation videos were very helpful with this! Took my renewal guard card 3 weeks ago , I was checking on the status with DPS ,the woman tells me we have an issue .I then ask her what the problem is ,she tells me Arrow Security didn't pay or send there working comp papers or some other forms and until they do the appropriate paperwork no guard card. I called Arrow Security and was told in a couple of days . I liked to know why would this happen? I ran a multi- million dollar per month was responsible for 300 paychecks each month ,people count on companies to have there act together ,they were quick to take everyone's money .Very disappointed . read more

After looking around a good bit, myself and two others decided on Arrow Security for our concealed carry class. We all thought that the class was informative and quick paced. We found the "cop talk" ,as others describe it, insightful and at times humorous; such "talk" represented a small portion of the overall discussions. The legal review was a eye opener. The simulator was the highlight of the evening, giving you a almost there feeling. What a great training tool! I will be renting additional time on it at a later date. Yes the seats are your typical classroom plastic seat but if you have a sensitive butt bring a pillow--- Price was at the low end of the spectrum. Hope this helps read more

This place has a great training environment but I do not recommend getting your renewals done here. They make it seem like your info will be mailed out to the DPS office by the office its self, but in reality you mail it out yourself at your own expense. When renewing my card I was given false info on how the process was done. So not only did i have to pay 35 dollars extra for a class, I also had to pay 72 dollars for shipping and processing at my own expense. So if you want to sit in an uncomfortable chair for 8 hours and listen to an ex-cop talk about how combative he was while he was an officer of the law (Which probably led to his resignation) and watch a cliche 90's version of how to properly preform your duties, then this is the class for you. I personally recommend everybody to shop around and find a LEGIT company who will send out your card info for you instead of wasting your time. (BTW I know for a fact that Veterans Security will send out your info PROMPTLY and at the half the cost for the class itself.) I give this place a C. As I stated before, the training is perfect for someone who is new to the field, but if your getting your renewals done..BEWARE. PLEASE SHOP AROUND. read more

Hello, this is my second renewal here at Arrow Security. I've been a Guard since 1995. Back then the process and training was definitely a different situation to say the least. Having said that I actually learned some new things from going through Arrow Securitys' Class. Especially in the Incident/Report writing section. They taught a better more refined way of writing those Documents. The Instructors are knowledgeable and are receptive to any questions. I recently went through both the unarmed and the armed classes here at Arrow Security and I must tell you I am happy I picked this school. my reason for saying so are as follows. The Unarmed Class was taught by an instructor named Ricky something, Jones I think. Whe he started talking I wondered if I was going to be able to understand him because he has a strong British Accent and I only speak English. To be honest I not only understood him and his way of explaining things I learned many aspects of security I didn't know. he is a man I would go back to back with anytime anywhere. Take my word for it if you sit through his class and pay attention you will be a better guard for it. This brings me to the Armed Class. I showed up a little early and I saw Bill who I think is the head of the school. he seemed a little distant and even reluctant to talk. I did not let it bother me much and i'm glad I didn't because before the class was completed and I saw and heard him in action in the classroom and on the range I was amazed at how little I knew about being a real security guard. I payed close attention to him and my feeling of his being distant and reluctant to talk went right out the window. I'm an old guy who has been through more classes than the law allows and never have I had an instructor who genuinely cares about his students, and definitely wants them to go into the field with more than enough tools to do the job and do it well because he knows one mistake can be life altering. He also is not someone who runs people through the class like a puppy mill. If you are having a problem with anything he will take the time to listen and work with you until you are up to speed. You will find that even after you have finished the class you will be welcome to attend any training in the classroom or on the range with little or no extra charge for his services. If you attend this class, pay attention, and put into practice what you have learned you will have attained a high level of confidence that you can take with you where ever you go to work.
