Golfing - Definitely one of the very best public golf facilities in Chicagoland. Driving range, putting green, sand and chipping all available for warmup. The courses are beautifully manicured, with reasonable rough and greens that are often puttable from deep off the collar. Even though most holes appear as straight away on the card, there is always a place or two on every hole where you can make a mistake. Some fun up and down elevations, interesting dog legs, and watery waggles in the fairways all combine to provide challenges and rewards. No houses to be seen anywhere; it's like playing out in the countryside. Delightful course. read more

Ordered the southwest shrimp salad. Had black beans and corn etc. You'd reasonably expect the shrimp to have southwest seasonings and be grilled or at least warm, right? You'd be wrong. It's like the had shrimp from a shrimp cocktail and threw it on some salad greens. Awful and for that you pay $17. We haven't been back in months because it was mediocre food at exorbitant prices and now we won't be returning for many more months. Too bad because their patio can be lovely. read more

I was in attendance here for a Yelp event (2018 Suburban Yelpie Awards). This was my first time at this venue. It looks like a cool place to hold wedding receptions and stuff. The venue did an lovely job of setting up for the ceremony to recognize suburban Yelpers. If I had not known better, I would have thought that someone had dropped some serious cash to set up the event. Arrowhead did a great job with the selection of food. During what I would call the cocktail hour, we were greeted with gentlemen walking around with fried spring rolls, bacon-wrapped dates and these lovely lovely fried artichoke balls...man those were absolutely to die for! There was beef tenderloin, cooked just right, with the options to make it into a sandwich. There were various sauces that you could use as well as different toppings (tomatoes, arugula, cheese sauce, mushrooms). For those who did not eat meat, there were grilled portabella mushrooms, large enough in diameter to serve as a patty on a bun. Arrowhead also set us up with a mashed potato bar, complete with all the required toppings, including bacon. Martini glasses were provided to contain your personalize creation and there was plenty of bacon bits to place on top. For me that was the greatest part of the meal. There was a nice and light Asian salad in a glass, ratatouille with goat cheese (love love love) and a lovely selection of desserts. The berry cheese cake and apple pie were my personal favorites. The staff was very attentive and on point with service. They were very quick and friendly. The bartenders knew their stuff as there lots of people getting a variety of mixed drinks. I stuck to wine, but a few of the ladies at my table got mixed drinks...all agreed that they were good and strong. I can see how this would be a great place for a venue. Plenty of room and the customer service was excellent, from what I could see. read more

Excellent place for a bridal shower event! Food was great, staff was very willing to accommodate food allergies, and service was great. It felt like we were very well taken care of throughout our entire event. The only issue we had was that there was no ability to play music in the room we rented for my event (small space fits ~20 guests) and I did not know this prior to booking here. The chairs, table clothes and view were all stunning. Really overall great spot for a nice event. read more

Came here for the Mothers Day brunch and it did NOT disappoint! Our server Bo was a riot and very attentive. The incredibly diverse buffet was all delicious. The different cured salmons (citrus, beet) were unique and delicious. They had a great mix of standard favorites (French toast, hot dogs, etc) and unique options (stuffed blintzes, farro salad, etc). Buffets can be so stale and flat but this was great! read more

our service was great but our food was pretty awful. We ordered 3 prime rib dinners and they were all weird, black color, strange texture and no flavor..... Not sure what the problem was but I never had Prime Rib like that in my life. Do NOT order the Prime Rib!!! read more

THE FOOD AT THE BAR Club Nachos - A big plate of chips loaded with cheese topped with ground beef, lettuce and tomatoes served with a side of guacamole, salsa and sour cream. 2 thumbs up! Death by Chocolate - This is the best way to die, IMO. Three layer chocolate cake with a side of whip cream. Friday Night Scene - Older crowd - late 20's and up. At first I thought it was karaoke night but it turned out there was a band playing outside. The service here is always good, kudos! LOCATION: This place isn't that easy to find, especially at night when it is hard to see the sign. Make sure you give extra directions to ppl if it's their first time going here. read more

Had an absolutely amazing mothers day brunch! The service was amazing, thank you Bo for giving us a memorable expirience. The variety that was offered was by far the best buffet I have had. From prime rib, to fresh oysters, to housemade quiches and and an endless assortment of desserts. Arrowhead really impressed us for this event. What a gorgeous venue! This place is wonderful for hosting a banquet or large gathering. Everything in this facility is shiny and new and the whole building is very spacious. You can host a party and maintain privacy from other events with ease. The bathrooms are luxurious, as is the secluded bridal suite. Moreover, the FOOD here is incredible!!! After I ate, I enjoyed wandering through the building. This is a golf club, so much of the first floor caters to golfers and has a fun bar on the first floor, as well. Best of all, this venue has a fascinating exhibit on golf history (in partnership with the local historical society)--other historical societies, take note. read more

I personally feel the restaurant has gone down hill a little with the quality of their food. Like many restaurants, quality has gone down while prices have gone up. One great thing about eating there is the view of the course on their outdoor patio. read more

We had our daughter's bridal shower here, and I can't say enough good things about Olivia and her team. Olivia listened, really listened, to my vision for the shower and made sure the day went just like we had hoped. It was perfect! We were in the Clocktower Room which felt so comfortable and inviting. It was beautiful overlooking the golf course, and we loved having the little balcony to hang out in too. The food was delicious and several people commented on how good everything was. The servers were so attentive and helpful throughout the entire time. The whole day couldn't have gone any better and it's absolutely due to the Arrowheard staff. I was pleasantly surprised by Arrowhead. After finding it and booking an after work tee time, I arrived to a packed parking lot. Nervous that I was about to play a 3 hour 9-hole round, I checked in with the friendly gentleman behind the counter in the pro shop and proceeded to the starter. Arrowhead has three 9-hole courses on their property, a driving range, practice green, restaurant, and banquet facilities. With so much going on, I understand why the lot was packed. The starter sent me off the South course with a few tips as a newbie and I was on my way. The course was challenging (I played the blue tees one-up from the tips), but fun with a nice variety of holes. The bunkers were well-kept, the greens swift and true, and the fairways were in great condition. My round was anything but slow as the pace of play was wonderful. I had to leave right after my 9, but I can't wait to go back and try out the restaurant. The deck off the back of the clubhouse that I could see from the 9th green looked like a perfect place to have a burger and a beer after golf. read more

Arrowhead has the feel of a private course that is well maintained. A beautiful facility in all respects. The course is a great layout, well spaced, nice challenge. We played on Tuesday 8/6/19 and played the South / East combination. A few of the greens looked to have been recently aerated, but they all rolled nicely. Definitely recommend. read more

3.5 stars. Nice patio with a decent breeze even on a hot day. Steak sandwich is great, we've also had the gnocchi, burger, Asian chicken salad in the past and all have been very good. Avoid the fish tacos- pretty horrible. Mealy fish with almost no flavor, bad jar salsa. read more

I went here for the Yelp Elite Award dinner. It was phenomenal. The food was great. There was a carving station and a mashed potato bar. Who doesn't love mashed potatoes that you can slather in bacon, cheese, and sour cream? At our table - Miguel was the server that came around and he was on it the entire time. We were well fed. The location is beautiful and well maintained. It was a large space great for events like these. The drinks were wonderful. I had the signature martini of the evening. My only recommendation to arrowhead is to have a few more options on whiskey. Makers Mark is usually a good option. I really loved the candy/swag table that was on a table as we exited. The whole event was nicely done. I really enjoyed it. Additionally, we all received coupons to return and I'm pretty sure I'll be using mine. read more

This is a great club. The restaurant is great and you can choose the bar with plenty of TVs or the dining room for a quieter experience. Service is generally good and the staff are nice. Food is always good. Great place to meet casually with friend and take in a game. read more

GREAT golf course and cool bar........but a HORRIBLE Restaurant........... We went on a Saturday night with 3 other couples and were the first to arrive around 6 pm....so we naturally wandered into the bar and found the last two seats. It was a full house, and the crowd was split between golfers, couples out on dates, and the few single men....nice tvs all around tuned to the Masters. Great service from the bartenders, quick to refill drinks and friendly...then we got called to dinner. Dinning room is pretty small and we had a big table in the middle. Nicole was our server and she was marginal at best (worse as the night wore on). Apps were just ok, it was SLOW, and a band began to set up....pretty strange for 7:30 on Saturday night. Anyway after what seemed like a few hours we got to order and the band started to play. They were LOUD, LOUD, LOUD, so loud you couldn't talk to the person next to you, and the lead singer/guitar player was HORRIBLE and a hog of the "spotlight". I could not believe we were served food while a really loud band was playing in a small space.... The food itself was AWFUL. I had the BBQ Salmon and it was bad, overcooked and had the distinct taste of being dragged in the parking lot prior to hitting my plate.....don't think anyone else really liked theirs either. We were forced to watch and listen to the band because you could not speak to anyone..... After dinner we wandered back to the bar, and there was still a good crowd. It seemed like many locals hang-out here, and as I said the bar is nice and fun. They also have a brick patio deck that is REALLY NICE. NO WAY I came back here to eat, would play the golf course any day. Yes, It is still a 5 star experience. This summer I found it necessary to make arrangements for a Bridal Shower, looooooooooooong before the date. Since I was familiar with the facility I knew exactly what room I wanted and menu selection. Everything was handled by phone so I had no worries as the date approached. When setting up, you can get into the room one hour before scheduled start time. Our server, Jean, was absolutely wonderful. Food presentation was most appetizing and food was delicious. I had a selection of cupcakes and they even made identification cards for each variety. On a beautiful, late summer afternoon, we were able to go out onto the balcony area off of the room. It was a wonderful way to end the shower. Everyone left happy and with a full tummy. read more
