I called 5-6 times and left messages to get lessons set up for my wife and never was called back. We scheduled a tee time and showed up early to warm up. The check in was easy, and the employees were great. They even let us tee off a little early since we were ready. The course itself was in great shape. It is a very peaceful environment, and even though there were many others on the course that day, we still felt like we had the place to ourselves. We were never rushed by groups from behind, or slowed by groups ahead. And this is a course that can be enjoyed by any skill level of golfer. Now that we have had this first experience at Hartford Golf Club, we cant wait to go back again. This has now become our go-to course.

It was a great first experience. We were still able to rent a golf cart, which was a huge relief for me as we were doing 18 holes. I'm not a regular golfer so I can't speak to the course, except to say I enjoyed it. It was extremely windy the entire time, like you couldn't hear someone standing five feet away if they were upwind.. so that part was an adventure. Not sure if that is typical. Everything seemed to be in good working order. The only reason I dropped a star is lack of portapotties/bathrooms while out on the course. Playing 18 you end up back at the clubhouse (like normal) so we made our overdue bathroom break then and just didn't drink much water while out on the course. They are renting golf carts to people in the same households and the clubhouse is open for one person at a time to use the bathroom to maintain the social distancing.

What a rip off I would not suggest playing this course so many other great courses in the area these guys are all about money, not the safety of their golfers. We will never pay there again!!! They can keep our membership it's a rip off!!!

Fairways and rough were fair, although be careful, some fairways were rather narrow and I spent a bit of time in the trees. Staff was very friendly. The grounds crew was respectful in holding mowing and such when we were hitting our shots. There are a few blind shots which are always tough for first time players, but we figured out most holes. Some pretty signature holes with lots of water on the back nine. Glad we could give this course a shot. We would definitely play again.
