I didn't want to like this place because I was pretty loyal to another store and have some concerns about them being pushed out of the area. But between the immaculate new fixtures and beautiful signage, an excellent and fairly well-priced wine selection, and the ridiculously hot guy who (or whose family) seems to own the place (the first time I went there were 3 or 4 generations crowding the store, when they first opened), and the walk-ability for me, there's not much to complain about. Parking sucks-- this is in the old Store 24 on Arsenal by the Super 8 and it's hard to get in and out of if you're driving, but I'm not!) Seriously ladies, you have to go see this guy. I am almost embarrassed by how often I visit this place. The selection is decent for the size of the store, the prices are average, but the service is outstanding. I'm not sure if it's a brother and sister I always see here or husband wife but they are straight up amazing. They are polite and friendly, and even offered to walk me and my two twelve packs out to my car tonight! Also they are both very easy to look at, if that's your thing. read more

Decent selection for basically your neighborhood convenience store. Prices are fine as well. Definitely better than Target's current selection. It may be Watertown's best liquor store but that doesn't say much. If you're looking for a much wider selection (which I generally am for beer) you'll have to trek to Marty's in Newton now that Martignetti unfortunately closed :/. read more

Best price for Jameson around! Small store, but decent selection of liquor, wine, beer, etc. Consistently I find their stuff is a little bit cheaper than every other liquor store in the area. Plus it is family owned and the folks are friendly. Only con: their parking lot can be tricky, but hey, they HAVE a parking lot (shared with Domino's Pizza). read more

The absolute best. I stray and go to Star Market sometimes for their larger selection of dirt cheap wine, but I always come back to Arsenal Wine & Spirits. Terrible experience there today. I was denied being able to make my purchase because my valid RI license supposedly wouldn't scan. Whatever systems they use apparently aren't that great because an overage potential customer was turned away unnecessarily. Will not come here again. read more

Dee - they're not Armenian. The wife is of Lebanese descent if you need some sort of Middle Eastern vibe. He's Anglo. I'd call them both American. Best packie in town hands down, and it is run by the owners who are there every day. If by chance they happen not to be there, it is the parents who are. Cannot get better service. If you want something, they'll order it and have it for you in days. Should add that I've asked them to stock a few things that they did not originally sell, and they're always there. read more

Worst experience, felt a little discriminated, gave the clerk a 20 for a 15 dollar purchase and wants to talk about how my bill was so called, "fake." Yet the bill was marked three different times, in three different locations, I am an honest man so when I heard these un fathomable claims I checked myself and sure enough I could see the bill was clearly real once I held it in the light, I even asked him to mark it to see if it would change color, but refused to do so, if it was fake I would've taken it back and apologized, but I wasn't wrong, he stuck with his word, so without hesitation I pulled a hundred out, and not only did he give me a look as if he was surprised, and rather than accept the money and move on, he continued to attack my character.
