Great value heck impeccabl. got a pair of JBL horn loaded giant two ways for 350$ only needed set of 70$ compression drivers and are now working and are an extremely rare set of horn loaded speakers. plus grabbed a bunch of cab radios and antennas for our cars and all amazing deals. this shop has most anything you'll need from stereos to cds and records to collectibles radio gear and tools. he's got everything!! Owner Jim is very friendly , I have called and inquired about the event. He replied and left me a very detailed voice message in regard to the details of the event. I was impressed. During the listening party, we had a little chat. He has been in record store business in Napa for 5 plus years, he was in wine making industry previously. This record store is his passion. This current location is inside a newish building, very clean and trendy, with modern bathrooms inside the building. Parking is rather easy, there is public parking lot on the opposite side of the street. The store is kinda hidden but it is very nice. There is a little fountain, a bench on the street that is facing the building, from there you will see a standing sign leading you to the store, when I drive by the first time I couldn't catch it. It's totally cool! am pleasantly surprised when I walk in today. I can imagine during record store day, if there is long line, one can still wait comfortably inside the building. I was waiting for more than 90 mins under the sun for another record store during record store day. Right on Napa will instantly make the waiting experience so much better. Will definitely come back for more in the future. Today, I found "American life" mix show mix EP, a record store day release. I also pre order all the editions that Jim will carry for Confessions II. Will come back next week to pick up. They are all reasonably priced! Jim told me he had hosted multiple listening parties before from Harry Styles to Bruno Mars and many more, as a vetted record store, he has access to these listening parties when record companies are doing promotions. Definitely check this one out. This is in downtown Napa, very chic area with walking distance to all the nice restaurants and hotels. Add this to your itinerary when you visit Napa Valley !

Also, the movie selection is not great -- or at least, the have "new releases" up on the wall for an EPIC amount of time. Also, on the old release shelves, they will have like 4 of the same dvd's of some obscure non-hit movie taking up space. Some of the time, it is questionable if the DVD's are "legit" or if they are somehow copied or something. BUT -- we tend to really like the employees there. Friendly, down-to-earth. So I really appreciate that. This is not meant to be a mean spirited review -- the place honestly needs to make some changes.

Sometimes they don't have a movie I want to rent, but their staff is always willing to stop what they are doing to help you search or, at your request, to suggest another movie you might like. In the age of instant streaming, this store should be out of business, but because of their excellent staff, their fair pricing deals, and healthy inventory they are doing well. Although this place has the books in alphabetical order of authors lastname, the dont have a system in place to search currently inhouse books, which kindof makes it fun. All the records had plastic to protect them and while they have mostly older records they did have some fairly newer ones (I picked up a cool A$AP Rocky album). I saw a few different one's I liked and the pricing for these are very fair. I am already planning on going back to pick up a few more!

I've bought about 6 records from here and each one has been of excellent quality (anything not in the $5 bargain bin that I've seen is VG+). Great quality records are abundant. Plus, if you like the Facebook page, you get updates on all the new product, plus can see that the owner takes really good care of the records (busting out the spin clean!). While every business needs to make money, I get the impression that this is an owner who genuinely cares about the product they put out. Also, the prices are very fair. I've gotten records that are around or below the prices on Discogs (before shipping). The space is small and intimate, but very organized. You can get a good look at all the product in 15 minutes or at your own leisure. It's a very comfortable environment, and I plan on being a repeat customer.
