    New Orleans iced coffee
    Jeannie N.

From what I gather, there's currently three loved local coffee shops in Hastings. Blue Moon is the classic and cozy one, Barista's is the one with a drive-through, and Art Bar is the trendy one that serves alcohol. This coffee shop is as hipster as it gets, and I love it! This is a beautiful shop in downtown Hastings with a bright, clean space complete with all the plants - fiddle leaf fig plant, rubber tree plant, philodendron, and aloe vera! I've ordered the New Orleans Iced Coffee, the Bourbon Caramel Latte, and the matcha latte - all delicious. For caffeine, the shop also serves drip coffee, pour overs, lattes, and teas. Alcohol offerings include beers, wine, mimosas, and bloody Mary's (4-6pm HH $1 off beer and wine). For those not interested in caffeine or alcohol, there's caffeine-free tea, hot chocolate, and cereal. Prices are on the higher side. WiFi is dependable. Seating available at tables, the bar, and outside on nice days. Ambiance is peaceful perfection!

Amazing Coffee Shop, me and my friend are here for a wedding and we stopped by after getting fitted just by chance and where very impressed. Great music, plant vibes, and the coffee was amazing. He got a mocha and I got a burning Carmel late and we fell in love.

I love downtowns in little towns- being from Phoenix it's nice to sit outside with little traffic and relax and even know it's not that densely populated and some of the stores are empty it's still fun. The barista was friendly the iced mocha was delightful and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Great coffee place. Well lit, good music, and friendly staff. Open only a short time but continues to improve offerings.

Nice setting on corner of old downtown. Alcohol and coffee to be had, with nice indoor seating situation.

It's a good coffee stop. Definitely stands out in the area for atmosphere. It's just not my kind of place. But the coffee is good.

The decor and the art is fun and unique. They even have a martini punch card to work up to a free one. Gotta check out this spot then make it your go to bar- wish we had one where we live. Cocktails are $9-11. Beer is $5-6.

I don't live in Hastings anymore, but I did grow up here and was back visiting family. We were looking for a place near my nieces' hotel and happened upon this place. Now there were definitely no places like this in Hastings when I was making the rounds. But then, back in the day I probably wasn't looking for martini bars either. What a fun, friendly, and fantastic place. I think we came in four or five nights in a row and the owners couldn't have been friendlier. That's right, I said "the owners". They may have other staff as well but while we were there it was the owners who were bartending and serving, and they couldn't have been more welcoming. The drink menu was amazing from start to finish, (definitely have the (Blueberry Mojito) and the prices reasonable. I'm sure it's a Midwest thing but I appreciate being able to go out and enjoy myself without having to spend about a day's wages like when I go out on the East Coast. They really made it a great place to relax and have a cocktail or two at the end of the day . . . . obviously, since we kept coming back night after night . . . . and will definitely stop again on my next visit to Hastings. A couple other quick things before I end this. First, there is a bar menu where you can order from a nearby restaurant. Second, the artwork on the wall is fantastic. Something interesting to look at in every direction . . . . and you can buy it if you really like it. Usually in places where restaurants or bars double as gallery space the artwork is small and mismatched by multiple artists. Nothing wrong with that, but I find it distracting. Here the artwork was all by a single artist I believe, and larger enough that it seems part of the decor. And at least the ones near me seemed reasonable priced. (We sat at the same table every night, so I only saw a few up close.) There's one was one funk one that I might have bought if it weren't for the fact that I had driven here from DC and still had to drive back and had already spent more than I planned on the trip here . . . . and still had several stops planned for the return trip. (Graceland, Kentucky Bourbon Trail, Mammoth Cave . . . etc.) Final words, C'mon Hastings (and people just visiting), show this place the support it deserves . . . . and have a cocktail for me.
