Such a beautiful place to have lunch, we brought it from Green Lotus in San Jose, and then got to enjoy the garden area as well as looking at all the art fixtures on the property! The blown glass was beautifully and eloquently designed, but all of the pieces were at least $50 at starting. It was nice to see a 15 minute demonstration of how much detail And how much thoughtfulness goes into creating a pumpkin blown glass project, I really want to sign up for classes now!

David, the owner, welcomed us into the studio and gave us a tour before we started. He taught us the basics and all the important things to know when working on the wheel. He was incredibly informative, hands-on, patient, and welcoming--and also really funny, which made the whole experience even more relaxed and enjoyable. It was our first time trying wheel throwing and we had so much fun that my husband and I couldn't stop talking about it afterward. We each made two pieces, and for beginners I think we did pretty well lol! We were honestly so excited to come back and pick up our creations. The staff and members were also super friendly. One of the members asked if we were doing a lesson and when we said yes she told us we would have a great time--and she was not wrong. They also offer memberships if you're interested, and the studio has a very welcoming, community-based vibe. After checking in and putting our stuff away, David started the class by showing use how everything works and gave us a demonstration of how to make a bowl. Not gonna lie, I got lost while watching him make it. After the demonstration, we got started on working on our own bowl. David is super patient and fun. He made sure we knew what we were by guiding us through each step of the way. He was hopping between me and my friends throughout the whole time. For our second piece, we had the freedom to make whatever we wanted to and he would be there to help us through the way. We got to choose the glaze color for each of our pieces and the final product should be done 3-4 weeks after the class. Can't wait to see the final product. Bathroom: There's 2 bathroom in the studio. The bathroom was clean and had scrubbers in case you wanted to get clay of your nails. Parking: Pretty easy as the studio is located in a little plaza.

They learn about shading, creating 3D look, outlining and layering art. They provide snacks which she enjoyed since they had options like Oreo's and chips lol and I believe they go to the park daily which they have to walk 2 blocks to get to. The business has a shared parking lot so drop off is pretty easy but tends to be busier at pickup. On the last day the kids get to present their work and the teacher high lights what she loves about it. My only complaint is that we stood for a hour to go through all the kids work, it would be nice if half way through, the kids that are done can be excused to leave so that half the chairs would free up so the remaining parents could sit. At the end of the camp the kids get a token they can use on the class machine and a extra one for a Yelp review. I would totally do this camp again as I hear every is a different theme. Last year my friend daughter did making their own stickers.

I learned new techniques and Maria gently pushed us to do our best work in each class. By the end of the session I had completed 4 paintings, one of which is hanging on my wall at home - something I never thought would happen. Respectfully, within our exchanges, you did not address my concerns, you doubled-down and responded in a defensive way, as you are doing in your response here. You responded to what you thought my concerns were, and sent the complaint directly to the teacher with no context, leading to a situation wherein my concern was not only not addressed, it was inflamed and taken out of context. It felt like being ganged up on. The difference in the public response here, however, is the apology. Offering to essentially boot us from the class is not akin to working with us towards a solution to keep us as customers. It reads as, "my way or the highway", which is not exactly a great way to deal with children and families. Notably inappropriate is also posting the status of my payment method on a globally public thread. Highly unprofessional. It shouldn't matter, since you were going to refund me anyway. I did not receive an email beforehand that the card didn't go through, either. We have been attending classes at this location for months with no issue with payment, and attended one class that I found out through this exchange was unpaid for due to a card being compromised. Is it not your job to inform people when their payment doesn't go through? Why did you deem it important to publicly shame/blast someone for their payment information? Very odd.
