This will be hard to believe.......THE COST FOR SIMILAR SHADES (although not exact) was ENORMOUS! The delivery and installation was promised in than 3 weeks.......it was installed in less. The company manufactures your shades on site in St. Catharines. The installation by Jason was quick, easy and perfectly done. I'm very pleased with everything. As I said, it ain't an exact 'Apples to Apples' comparison but it is easily an 'Apples to Oranges' comparison and for me.......I LOVE ORANGES!

Unfortunately, this was not our experience this time around. We ordered 14 boxes of tile based on the display board in Eden Tile-Its' showroom (see photo). When we opened the boxes nearly 70% of the tile had no pattern on it whatsoever and those that did had very little veining (see picture of one of the boxes). There would be no way that the look represented on the display board could be recreated with the product we received. When I contacted Eden Tile-It. The manager, Brian, insisted that this was normal variation of product. It is not. It is deception. I understand that some tiles are going to have more veining than others and that some tiles, based on the display board, might even be completely white. However, 20-30% (as opposed to the 70% we received) of the tiles on this display board are plain white and the ones that are patterned have much more veining than any of the tiles we received. This is very misleading, and given that customers are paying up front to order a product based on these display boards, dishonest. Customers should be able to trust that they will be able to recreate the look on these boards. I felt sure that Eden Tile-It would make this situation right, but they did not. Saying only, "That's just the way it is." The tile was returned but at a 15% restocking fee and the manager seemed ill equipped to handle a situation where a customer was not receiving what they paid for. Brian made no attempt to fix the situation, blaming the supplier and insisting the product we received was acceptable. It was not. I have recommended Eden-Tile-It to many friends, family, and even contractors over the years and have even taken friends into the showroom to help them choose tiles for their renovations. Based on this experience, I will not be recommending them again, nor will I be purchasing anything from them in the future. Go elsewhere. There are plenty of other suppliers that will treat their customers better

I recently was thinking about fixing the colour of my hardwood in my hallway that was stained the…read morewrong colour by the installer (it was to match bedroom floors). I called around and got 4 different estimates - 3 estimates were over the phone, but Rainbow was the only company to come out in person and inspect what needed to be done. Fred was punctual, kind, knowledgeable. His price estimate was in line with the others I received, but most importantly, because he came out in person to inspect the hardwood planks themselves, he was able to warn me there was a risk that redoing the floors may lead to ruining what was already there. In the end, that risk combined with the cost for a colour change wasn't worth it for me - but if I had gone with anyone else, I might have had to tear out all of my floors and redo the whole thing. So I can confidently say that you can trust Fred and I will highly recommend him to my friends... and to you. Thanks again for the visit, Fred. All the best!

One staff directed me to the lighting section and a second staff member brought me directly to the light tubes. The name Barbecues Galore is pretty accurate, as they carry an immense number of Propane, Natural Gas, Charcoal, Infrared, Wood..basically anything that can cook food with heat here. The selections range anywhere from the $100 dollar charcoal to the 5000+ dollar natural gas BBQ stations. Barbecues Galore are also licensed dealers of Weber, Napolean, Broil King, DCS ...just to name a few. If your looking for patio living or furniture..yup..they have it. Patio heaters, Fire tables, Umbrellas, Plates, Glasses..I could go on, but you get the picture. If your BBQ needs some tweaking or some extra add ons, they carry an excessive number of additions to make your BBQ experience even better. The staff here is super helpful and will answer any of your questions with some knowledge. If you like looking for that special type of secret sauce or rub to put on your BBQ creations, they also carry a wide selection of seasonings and rubs to round out your spice cabinet. They gave me a name of a third party contractor which I contacted but he did not show up on the day of the install arranged and never returned my calls. I found another local contractor who completed the installation of the fan. The fan has made a HUGE difference.

The owner there said that he could make me a barn door but he fought with me on the colour I wanted to stain the door and the design that I wanted was apparently "not something" he does. I looked online and there was a company out of Utah that I was going to go with, but I couldn't justify waiting for over a month and paying large fees to ship the door and hardware to me, and since their customer service was terrible I didn't really want to give them my money anyway. Then a friend told me about Loft Doors, some place in Burlington that specializes in barn style doors. I went into their showroom and was greeted when I walked in and they let me walk around and ask questions when I actually had some. They had quite a few styles of doors hanging in their showroom, as well as tables, benches, consoles and fireplace mantels that they had made from old reclaimed wood. I showed the guy behind the desk the picture of the door I wanted which I found on pinterest and he said they could build it no problem. I mentioned that I wanted the door to match the cabinets in the kitchen since it would be hanging just outside of it and he requested a sample of the finish to they could match the stain for me. Needless to say the process turned out to be much simpler than I had thought it was going to be because of my previous experiences looking for a door. I picked out my hardware which is all custom made in the same city and when I went to pick up the door it was exactly what I wanted and matched the one I found online perfectly, even the hardware matched. The door looks great hanging in my home and I get comments all the time when people came over. I've even sent some of my friends to Loft Doors to get stuff done they have different style doors for different price points which is great because one of my friends really wanted a door but thought they couldn't because they are too much. Turns out they got a door made and even got the hardware and paid just under $800 for both, and they got to pick the stain colour of their door. The service is great because at no time did I feel like they were telling me how my door had to be or whether I should even be staining the barnboard any particular colour. They supplied helpful advice, warned me of potential issues had I have chosen a different option for my door and they sent me a video for me to install the door myself which was actually pretty easy (took me about 3 hours to install it, but was overall a pretty easy process). I am very happy I found this place because the quality of the door and hardware are better than places I've seen around Toronto, the service was great and they always answered any of the emails I sent pretty fast and it only took me two and a half weeks to get my door and hardware. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in need of getting anything reclaimed.
