They said 6 to 8 weeks but on the 13th week, after we called to find out why it was taking so long, we were rudely informed by Chase that he had "text" us twice, neither of which did we receive. The he told us we had till the end of the week to pick them up? This is in the 13th week with no text or call. Either way, we rush down and wait for him to come help us. In the meantime someone else walks in behind us. When Chase came out, he didn't even say hi, walked right past us to the one who entered after and literally ignored us while having a conversation with a vendor (?!) Then once he was done he proceeded to rudely push about how he had text us twice. I have no clue why that means his fingers don't work to make an actual call and leave a message but there you have it. He was confrontational as i see it because we didn't even bring up the prior rudeness or insistence that he had text but I certainly had my phone ready to show him that indeed there was no text, no call, no nothing. He didn't care, barely looked and lost a couple of people who were actually considering their extremely high monthly rates. Pretty mind blowing when it's a bit over 500 bucks a month for 2 people. Yup, every month and all it includes is the space and the wheel, nothing else. The class itself was great but because of Chase, who told us he was the owner but lists here as the busines manager, we won't go back. I see another review here with the same trouble in not getting their pieces or being informed that the pieces are ready so I guess if you want to pay 50 bucks a person for the classes and do the work to make sure you get what you pay for then have at it. We are going to try one of the other many pottery places close by.

After a brief meditation the class mindlessly painted to some wonderful music and enjoy Debbie's musings. When all the paint was spent, our works of art we read not only by Debbie, but other intuitive class members. The artwork created in my class was nothing short of miraculous. I'm in awe. I found the class relaxing and exciting. Just what I needed after a hectic week. Can't wait for the next class. I've told all my friends....and now you too!

We paid for this class at Glen Ivy and she said pick any color you want and just paint whatever you want! Ummmmm that's not what we paid for. I could go to Michaels and get a canvas for $4 and do this by myself at home with all the wine I want - not just one glass at Glen Ivy. Sorry...not my favorite. Glen Ivy should specify that this is a free for all with no instruction whatsoever. At the end, she "read" our paintings which is sweet but a little oddly "mystical" for me. I didn't sign up for a psychiatry class. Anyway, she was a lovely lady, but please be aware that her style is opposite of all the painting classes out there. (Oh, and her husband or assistant came along but slept for most of the class which is hilarious because that's sort of how I felt too.) I should also mention that her class only lasted 30 minutes and she practically forced us to stop. Most painting and wine classes are about 2-3 hours. one star for the wine and one star for her kindness.

There's a parents/family waiting room and you can watch the kids work. Every kid gets their own personal station, and Miss Kathy is awesome. She lets the kids go at their own pace and work on what they choose to work on, so they're not all doing the exact same thing. She checked in with our son often as he was probably the youngest kid in there, which really helped him to feel more comfortable. Some of the older kids who have been going for awhile do some amazing work, too. We will definitely be continuing in the Summer time and next school semester.

His shop has been a…read morelovely place to get comfortable with woodworking and gain foundational knowledge, like learning how to calculate / measure correctly, how to use the tools, choosing appropriate woods, etc. I've appreciated that he puts a lot of emphasis on safety and proper technique when using the machinery. I end up feeling more confident with using the tools, with knowing how to avoid accidents. Dennis makes the class environment a comfortable and nice place to hang out. There's creative energy all about. I look forward to going each week and seeing what projects the other students are up to or chatting with him. He's not only a great instructor but also so easy and friendly to talk to! Dennis' enthusiasm for woodworking and old tools will quickly rub off on you. It's a great balance between a structured class curriculum and freedom to customize your projects. I've since discovered that going to the lumber yard and choosing woods feels a little like being a kid in a candy store. They brought the canvas, paints, brushes, cups for the water and plates for the paint. All you need to provide is tables, chairs and a water source. We chose a scene painting. We did a side by side swan/cherry blossom scene. Max did one side and his girlfriend did the other side. He went slow and did step-by-step. Max was so amazing and so patient! We had a mixture of girls (ages 7-10) and adults mommies. Max was so good with the younger girls! I would highly recommend him for any of your paint parties!

I was given the number, and quickly came in contact with Olga who handled my quote and reservations! Olga definitely went out of her way to reassure that my birthday was going to be great! She went over my entire reservation, and made sure I understood the cost of everything. Paint 101 provided me with my own Facebook link, where I was able to invite my guests.. included my personal form of payment link for my guest to pay me directly( by choice) and even created an invite!! Day of party was a beeeze !! Max brought everything! He brought his PA system (which made it easier with my loud family) and offered to play music, but since we were all vibing together, we kept mine on.. All the materials we needed to do our drawing were provided, I just had to have the tables! Our canvas were 16x20, that was pretty awesome, considering I've been to a paint party and received small canvas, and the cost of the painting was double the price of Paint 101! I can seriously keep blabbing away and tell you how awesome Paint Party 101 is, but I'll cut it short... You will not be disappointed with Paint 101!! I highly recommend them!!!
