We hired Art for our ALL school Run, and it was A VERY complicated music order we gave Art. We needed Art to arrive at 6:30 in the MORNING, & we had specific music for each grade, as well as each age group. All to be done w/in 3 hours. Art was AMAZING! He arrived before his scheduled arrival time (which was early enough), and had a full appropriate play list for each group as well as the entrance song for each class. And that was for over 700 students! We have done this run for 6 years, and from now on- we will only go w/Art. And as soon as pick up began, and the kids cleared the field he played some motivating music for the adults to get to work! *The sum of it was-- Art was conscientious, he listened to our groups needs- and met them. Given how many age groups he had to cater to- this was a tall order. Yet he did this w/out missing a beat ( :). He was our MC as well & kept pace w/a very scheduled & upbeat day. Art over promises and under delivers. We hired Art for our wedding and reception and were extremely disappointed. He was supposed to record the ceremony...uhh, he FORGOT. I gave him a CD of songs to give him an idea of the kind of music we wanted for the reception, he PLAYED it for the last hour and a half of the reception, instead of an original set. Art lets you select music and specifically lets you put things on the Do Not Play list...uhh, one of those songs made its way into the reception. One of Art's selling points is that his wife accompanies him at the event, to act as a runner between the bride and him. Yeah, well that didn't happen either (just once when I walked down the aisle). Oh and don't get me started on the slaughter of my wedding processional due to Art's "mixing skills." There's more but my point is that there is risk involved should you trust Art with your event or wedding day. read more

Art is an outstanding showman in every aspect of entertainment. He has been doing our fund raising every year for 8 years and has handled every challenge we have flawlessly! His site is set up to select which types/selections of music you want played for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. We had a 40's theme one year and still get compliments on the music and flow he provided for the era. Swing!! His lighting effects are outstanding! They just tend to keep everyone on the floor long after most people should be taking a breather! And finally, his audio/visuals for our presentation videos are played seamlessly, whether a PowerPoint presentation or a heart warming video of successes of our non profit, Art had mastered his profession thoroughly! Art is a great DJ. He has played a few of our company events and is able to bring the energy without being a distraction or drawing attention away from the event itself. Art has a great sense of what the mood of the environment is and is able to both, draw a crowd to the dance floor or just provide atmosphere. His customer service is superb. You can tell he puts in a lot of effort into fitting your music needs and caters to your tastes and desires, not to mention the awesome lights and effects that he brings to the party. I am not an audiophile, but his speakers have got a lot of kick to them and fill up the large venues quite easily. Art rocks the house. If you break down DJing at it's simplest form perhaps the most important skill set is the ability to read the crowd. Sure you can come in with a few set genres or a list of key songs that need to be played but the great DJ's can drift off course regardless of what may be thrown at them and still rock the party. That improvisation skill is where Art shines. He has an extensive catalog of music that seems to fit any occasion. We had a day time Sunday brunch event that Art orchestrated perfectly. We hired Art to play my 50th birthday party, and he nailed it. In the weeks before the party, he took a deep interest in our musical tastes which are very diverse yet also specific (as in we did not want cheesy top 40 and pop). He sent us a list of several hundred songs across all genres for us to highlight our likes, so he could get a feel for what to play. He took a genuine interest in customizing our evening's music, and that is the difference between hiring Art and just another DJ. This was the second time Art has been at one of my events. Art was wonderful in helping to make my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration a success. Goldie Palooza 2022 took place yesterday at Oak Canyon Lakeview Parks in Orange County. This is the first time we had live music and we absolutely recommend Art the DJ. He was absolutely wonderful! Choice of music was excellent for our event which is family oriented, he was extremely funny and accomodating when we asked him to make specific announcements and he even did not hesitate to help us out with our Raffles.
