I chose to enroll my daughter in Art Class because She enjoys the creativity of drawing, sketching anything. My 8 year old daughter was signed up for these classes at the end of March. I have to say the staff is so kind and attentive. The class times are perfect and the price is affordable. They take the last 15 minutes to have a little show and tell and all the kids get a big round of applause. The kids are is displayed form week to week on the website, Facebook and on the Windows of the studio. I absolutely love the encouragement of the children's abilities. Paint 'n Sip Night Fun way to channeling your creative side. Sara was pleasantly enthusiastic and patient. The atmosphere was very casual. She explains the technique but does go fast. Relax and enjoy whatever comes out on the canvas. It's about having fun. Don't worry about the phases, the end result will look different after it dries. I went with a group of friends and we each had a good time. Sara had grapes, salami, cheese and crackers as a snack. There's a restroom inside the studio. She will provide the apron, paint, brushes and canvas. There's easel and bench for you waiting all set up. Highly recommend trying it! read more

My sister and I decided to celebrate our birthday with some of our friends at Art with Sara. We selected a 2 hour project, reserved the date in advance for a private party and invited 8 of our friends to join us. I was very pleased with the outcome. I don't consider myself an artist.. I can't draw a stick figure to save my life. But Sara's easy to understand instructions and one on one guidance had me creating an awesome painting. Every single one of us in the class had a great 16x20 canvas painting to take home at the end of the class. The other nice part was that she allowed us to bring drinks and snacks to munch on during the class. We listened to our ipod music and had a blast!! I can't wait to go back for another class. Sara could not have been anymore helpful, reassuring and committed to her students development. We took our five year old twins here and were disappointed given the rave reviews. First, they don't allow parents to stay, which we were not comfortable with given we had never met these people. So after expressing our concerns, they made an exception. I stayed back and didn't intervene or help the kids so as to not get in the way. Here is what I observed: Pros: 1. The student-teacher ratio was great. Each teacher was responsible for one row of maybe 5 students. There were four teachers when we attended. 2. At the end of the session they do a "gallery walk" where they have each child go up and the teacher talks about what a great job they did with their art work. Kids really enjoyed this part. Very cool. Cons: 1. My son wanted to add a sun to his picture, which apparently was a no-no. Its somewhat rigid in that they have to draw exactly what is there and nothing else. Not what we were expecting. The teacher even erased what he had drawn and re-drew 75% of it for him. She seemed nice about it, but the point was to have my child's art on my fridge, not hers. 2. Despite not allowing parents to stay, they don't watch your kids. At one point one of my twins decided to get up and go look at what they had in their cabinets, even getting up on a step stool and opening drawers, etc. Two teachers saw him and neither told him not to do that or to return to his seat. Eventually, I made eye contact with him and sent him back with a few stern looks. 3. They came home with some great art work, but it wasn't their art, it was mostly their teacher's art. So, if you are looking for a place to drop off your (slightly older than 5) kids for an hour and half and have them come home with a great piece of art (mostly done by a teacher) this is the place for you. If, like us, you are looking for a place for your child to learn about art and the different mediums, in a safe environment, while also being allowed to be creative and add his/her own touch, then you should look elsewhere. read more

Each child for a workstation for themselves, paint, brushes, and a canvas. The nice instructors lead the girls through a layered and masked painting project which turned out very well for everyone. I planned an art party here with my mother in law an her friends. There were about 10 of us. Sara was our instructor. It was so much fun. The prices are great and Sara makes sure everyone is satisfied with their work before you leave. Sara let us choose our painting and customize it to colors we loved. Most of us even used her custom stencils. She let us choose if we wanted stencil or free hand. She taught us both. It was non stop laughter. We had wine an appetizers and laughed the whole time. This was an awesome experience for our 10 year old son who recently had to complete a specific type of art project. Thanks to Javier and Angelica this canvas was a success. My son has little art skills, so this class was a gamble. After communicating with Sara (the owner), she assured me that her staff was familiar with the "Reflections" project, and that they would be able to guide my son with his creative idea, for his very first painting piece. I have twins. 2 boys , 7years old. They are special need boys. Looking for the best and perfect place for them it was hard and it took us a while to find Sara. I have tried other places before. The support, patient and the talent Sara and her group of people has for them is so hard to explain. After 1/2 hour explaining to her what I want and expect from her she has delivered it.
