Maybe it's because I'm white skinned, but I sat there for two minutes people smiling at me and and looking at me, but nobody wanted to give me no service. Then when they did give me the service that Lady asked me three times what I wanted and when I finally told her again for the fourth time, she turns around and tells the other girl to wait on me. Worst customer service. I didn't even get to taste the food but just going there has a better taste in my mouth never if you're white don't go here because they're racist. Food was ok but my question to them is. We got two taco plates and the tacos and the rice and beans were all totally cold. Is that normal?

We first tried Arteagas last month we were really disappointed but I hate writing negative reviews and everyone has a bad day so it's always best to give multiple chances. Unfortunately, our next (and last) visit was more of the same. The employees were friendly and our food was ready every time when we arrived. Prices are reasonable. However, the food is just bad. The super burrito is small, the meat was dry and chewy and it had very little flavor. Steak tacos were ok but plain and the flauta meal was disappointing; you only get a few tiny flautas covered in sour cream. I think the biggest problem though is their beans and rice. They are probably the worst I have ever tasted. The rice was cold, clumpy and oddly flavored but luckily there wasn't much flavor to begin with. The beans were inedible. They put a small cube of white cheese into the beans that never melted (on either visit) because the beans are served cold. They are bland and have this gritty texture that is very off-putting. We might return to purchase something at the market portion as the staff is always nice and prices are equitable but I would not eat here again. read more

Laziness took over again and I was craving taco truck SO BAD so I turned to door dash and this place popped up! I've driven by it but didn't know they made like meals. I was really hesitant because I didn't see reviews here and I haven't heard anyone mention it but I figured.... Can't hurt until you try! I got the taco plate with Asada and the agua fresca of the day and..... YUMMY. cravings SO satisfied. I don't know what flavor the agua fresca is but it's deep red and delicious! Maybe pomegranate? Don't know but super yummy! And the taco plate was SO DELISH. I came in Saturday morning with my mom because we are preparing for thanksgiving and she got recommended this place by one of her coworkers for there masa de pina that is supposedly very good. So went in and asked for masa de pina but you have to place a order ahead of time so we did we placed it for Sunday at 12 pm. When we went to pick it up it still wasn't ready we still walked around the store then they called saying it was ready. When I seen the masa through there clear screen they have in the kitchen it looked way to yellow and I told my mom that is probably just yellow food coloring. When my mom grabbed it she said it was watery we still took it home and we where ready to make tamales. As we tried the masa it tasted nothing like pineapple nor sweet it tasted like garlic so we went to the store to buy pineapple chunks to see if it would give it flavor but the garlic taste was still there it's like if they sold us regular masa instead of sweet pineapple masa how we asked. We still cooked them to give it a third chance and nope they where terrible we threw them away. I called them and a young lady answered and said " Can I speak to your manger and she then says who am I speaking to I just answered a customer." The manager answers the phone in Spanish and I speak Spanish I just pretended to not know Spanish and told her do you speak English she answered yes. So I explained to her the whole situation about the masa and then she tells me to hold on but never put me on mute. She then goes and tells the girl who made which I herd on the phone "Alma" and she tells her I have a customer saying your masa wasn't good that it tasted nothing like pineapple and she then tells her she was in a rush and totally forgot so they just colored it. If it wasn't ready since the start y still sell it to us you could have just been straight up. She the manger then says sorry I just spoke her she says you can come in to get another masa I said no can I get my money back or store credit and she said yea I can get store credit which is what I did. But overall if we had knew the masa was going to be like we could have just gone somewhere else we just got recommended this place and decided to try it out and overall bad experience. read more

First time here and I figured I'd drop in to see the quality of their meat. I was extremely pleased to see not only how fresh the meat is but the prices! I was paying 50 cents to 1$ more per pound at my last location! This store is well stocked with grocery items! From your Mexican products to general grocery items. They have fresh baked Mexican bread as well as a deli offering a variety of Mexican dishes. I will have to try the deli next time. There was a good line of people lined up at the deli. I was greeted and treated with courtesy and respect throughout the store by all the employees. I grabbed their ad to see they have day specials as well as weekly items on sale. I look forward to investing my time and money at this location since I will definitely be back. I look forward to trying their deli and giving a review about this section of the store next!
